I'm a big fan of this spot! Chris was really helpful and made some solid suggestions when I was there last. Example: Me: "Hey bro, just need this suit pressed. How much?" Chris "Well, the cost to wash and dry clean it is the same as the cost to have it pressed." Me: "I don't wash my jeans and I don't wash my suits brotha." Chris: "BUT you smoke right? I can smell it! You need to wash it at some point man!!" Me: "Rats, wash it up and let me know when it's good." Chris shot me a text two days later letting me new my suit was ready for pick-up and when I picked it up, we chatter some more and I realized, this dude is running a solid business so I want all my Yelp B-Game folks to visit. In my search for an environmentally friendly dry cleaner close to my house, I found I Love Green Clean online. Finding them in person was a bit more difficult. I wandered around and around before realizing that they are in the FOX MALL complex. I've posted a couple of pictures to help others find them. Once I found them, the lady inside was friendly and helpful. She took my name and phone number, and explained that they would text me when my items were ready for pickup, which is a nice touch. Prices are reasonable, too. I paid in advance, and received a text a few days later that my things were ready. I was out of town, but my boyfriend went to pick up my items (with the receipt I'd left at home) and it was no problem. Coming home to clean clothes that don't need to "air out" like needed from a regular dry cleaners? Score! I don't use a lot of dry cleaning services (most of my clothes can go in the washing machine) but I'll be back here for sure! read more

Pros: Cheap, Convenient if you're home during the day Cons: Terrible Customer Service, Not sure if they actually clean Background: I'm a very understanding person, especially in the customer service field. After working too long as a waitress and at Target, I give most retail employees the benefit of the doubt. I searched around for a local green drycleaners, because I like to support local and dry clean semi-responsibly. I needed to take in my wedding dress to be cleaned, so I did so with their pickup service. Everything was smooth, it gets dropped back off a few days later, and this is where things start to fall apart. I had a non-traditional wedding dress that was custom-made for me. So, it's not one of those fancy, heavy, beaded-to-hell things that you might normally think of when you hear 'wedding dress'. It's a satin dress with a lace overlay that's open on the bottom. (We were sitting on rocks by the lake to take photos, and the lace got a little dirty. Nothing crazy, but a bit dirty.) Anyhow, nothing was ruined on the dress. It looked like it had been pressed. But it sure didn't look clean. The lace was ivory mesh with white polka dots, so I could see that the polka dots were still discolored - i.e. not cleaned. I called the cleaners to complain, and they said I should bring it in and show them what they'd missed, and they'd re-clean in. Well, they're only open til 5pm on Mon-Sat, closed Sundays. I work all those days. (Sucks, right?) So, the first Saturday I actually have off and I'm able to come in, it's been ~3 months. The girl there looks at my dress after I show her the areas that need to be cleaned, and says it's too late to have this refunded/redo this; she'll have to charge me. I explain that I wasn't able to come in during their hours, but that I spoke with someone (who I was pretty sure was the owner) and they said they'd re-clean it. I get that she's not the owner and doesn't want to speak on their behalf, but surely she could take it and hold on to it and ASK THEM LATER, right? No - to take it she'd have to charge me. I'm frustrated at this point, because I've paid $100 to have this cleaned in the first place, and I'm pretty sure it was only pressed. I've also brought over 10 other items to be cleaned (in one of their reusable bags, no less). The employee decides to make me an offer. "This doesn't look like a wedding dress," she tells me, "I could charge you for an evening gown cleaning instead. That's only $30." Again, I understand that she's trying to save herself, but this really pisses me off. I'm thinking: 1. I've already paid $100 for it to be cleaned, and it's not clean. Now I have to pay ANOTHER $30 to clean it? 2. If she's willing to charge me $30 now, why wasn't I charged $30 the first time? It's really a very simple garment to clean! I told her that if she was unwilling to accept my dress to re-do their unfinished first job, they would lose my business then and there. She didn't back down, call the owners, or offer any other solution. I will take my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same! read more

These people are nice, but the quality is just not there. This morning I pulled out a shirt to wear to work that I just picked up last week; it was all wrinkled! I had to iron it before I could wear it. It has just been hanging in my closet. Then I tried on a dress that I cleaned after wearing it only once. I came to realized that it SHRUNK. I took out another dress tonight and there are still crease marks from where I sat in the dress BEFORE it was cleaned. This is not acceptable to me. I could go back and ask them to redo everything, but what's the point? I'm so irritated and I'm a reasonable, relatively patient person. Maybe they are a little cheaper than other places, but I would rather PAY a little more to know that my clothes have actually been cleaned and have them not be wrinkled or shrink after cleaning them. This was my last hurrah with Green Clean. Sigh. read more

Fast, friendly, reasonable prices, and environmentally friendly! What's not to like? The competitive rates are the best I've found in the area, and the turnaround time is fairly quick. They shoot you a text message as soon as your items are ready for pickup - definitely a tech savvy dry cleaner! A bit challenging to find initially (they are tucked away inside the Fox Plaza), but once you find it, you're good to go! read more

Wow...the prices are good here, and I hope they stay that way. It's $3.50 for jackets and sweaters...very reasonable. If you go to their website and click on "place an order", you can see the prices for everything else. My clothes weren't stained to begin with, but they did smell like Goodwill (creepy) and now they don't! They have a slight odor of...something that was used to clean them, but I'm guessing it will diminish once the clothes air out. Anyway, I appreciated that they texted me when my clothes were done. I was not able to successfully avoid getting a plastic bag, but it's not a huge deal. You can bring hangers back to them for reuse, if you're so inclined. And if they don't use Perc (a chemical in traditional dry cleaning), that's a good thing. Perc is very bad. I learned that on an episode of "Ghostwriter" once. read more

I dropped off a bunch of dry cleaning and when I came to pick it up, 2 shirts were not ready - I needed to wait 30 minutes, which I didn't have. The owner dropped off the shirts to my house the next day in the early morning - how amazing! Will be coming back. read more

First I went to the dry clean spot. They are very friendly, cheap and fast. I went for some choocolate on my sofa covers and they removed ot quickly. It looks new and fresh ! They send you a text when it's ready I recommend this place ps : hard to find. It's inside a hall. read more

This cleaners may be a little hard to find at first if your don't know where to look. If you're on Burlingame avenue then you have to go inside the building with the arches and it's in the back corner across from the bridal shop. The cleaners does a pretty good job cleaning my clothes and the prices are competitive. You can set up an account with them and have your card on file if you plan on doing your dry cleaning often. You also get text notifications when your clothes are ready. The owners are very nice and accommodating and will try to work with your deadline. Overall this is my go to spot for dry cleaning and laundry. read more

Few people review the simple businesses. The ones that you visit very often and take for granted. No one really thinks too hard about their laundry room or about the people that take care of their clothes. Image is so important especially in my line of business. I need to be able to project the expertise that I represent and the knowledge that I have painstakingly learned to hone my craft. I want people to trust me and know that I am for real. If I look messy or disorderly, what does that say about other areas of my life, or how I think? I need to take care of the small things in life, even if I don't have the time to do so myself. This business is family owned. By talking to the family, I've learned that this is only one of their locations. Having multiple locations is already a sure sign of someone knowing what they are doing. Second, they are smart. They know how to treat their customer right, and how to make sure they come back. They text you when your clothes are ready, and you can put your card on file as well as schedule pickup and drop off. Convenient and smart business owners mean a well oiled machine. I recommend to all for a hassle free experience, especially for busy people. read more

Avoid these guys if: - you are looking for quality and competence, - you don't like wasting your time. With a recent move from San Francisco to 'burbs, I set out to find a great cleaner in my new area. I did some digging around, and this place seemed to do the trick - based on their high rating. I dropped off: - dress pants that had several coffee stains - nothing out of ordinary, and definitely not an impossible job... something my previous dry cleaners never had problems with, - a vest with a faint, but still noticeable stain right on the front, and - two shirts: lighter one was to be washed, and darker one to be dry cleaned. I took my time to point out each and every one of the stains in detail, 'just to be sure'! Upon arriving the next day to pick up my clean clothes, things seemed pretty great! According to the lady all of the stains in question were taken out. I was excited, and I trusted that to be true without having to go through the items in front of the employee just to make sure. The following morning while getting ready for work, I took out all the items just to see the same stains as if they haven't been touched. In fact the lighter shirt, which was to be washed, had more stains than it did before I dropped it off - it was ruined (not a cheap shirt, too). By the time I realized this, I was already 'late for work', and quite frustrated that I couldn't wear any of the things I was planning on wearing! I'm not big on wasting my time, so naturally I was very reluctant to go back and deal with this bullshit. I did it anyways, out of principle. I was angry, not only because I just 'threw my money out of the window', but because I had to go in for the second time to deal with the same order (and still not having the things which I wanted to wear) - not to mention the overall customer service, which leaves much to be desired. To cut the long story short, I've asked for a refund, only to hear that they don't do refunds either, and that they can only offer me to re-clean my clothes. No thank you. Buy something nice for the money you took from me. Some stuff which threw me off right away: - You have to pay before they do any work. I've never been asked by dry cleaner to pay up-front. I don't know how this service still works in this day and age, especially in such a competitive business - whatever. -1 star - No AMEX - annoying, but, again, not exactly a deal-breaker. -.5 star - They open at 10 am... I'm not sure if it's just them, or whether all dry cleaning business sleep in this late around here, but I'd really like to drop off my stuff on the way to work without having to wait until 10am for them to open up. -1 star - I'd love to be able to pick things up the same day, and I'm not talking about 1-hour cleaning or anything like that (although that would be nice) just simple quick service, which I was willing to pay extra for. They didn't offer that. Oooohhh wellll... -.5 star - No refunds on a job done bad - only re-cleaning... Right, like I'd want to clean with you again. And this was my last straw. Love this place! No chemical smell on your clothes and they will pick up and drop off for free if you have more then $20 of dry cleaning. Such an awesome deal and they are very communicative and responsive by text- will confirm pickup and dropoff times, etc. Great rates, quality service, and no chemicals. What could be better So happy to have found this place. Definitely note that if you drop off in person, they are not open until 10am. I tried to go early in the morning assuming it would be open, but it is not. So be sure to plan accordingly or just do the pickup/dropoff- it's easier anyway :) read more

Do not go to this cleaner if you care about your garments. They will ruin your clothes and not take responsibility for it. They've ruined a very expensive sweater of mine. I had to take him to small claims court and won. The owner is unprofessional and rude as well as the fact they're never opened the times they say they are. I have been very impressed with how well these folks have gotten stains out and their good pressing work. No toxic chemicals for me thank you. I even have asked for my order "naked" so I don't have to deal with plastic bags, they are kind enough to put my clean clothing in a reusable recycled bag! That's a service I love.
