Ok... I'm going to be very honest. This is a fantastic place to eat. Previous reviews I totally understand. Good and bad. Bottom line is that if you want to get great pizza and sides with minimal influences on what you believe maybe an Italian cuisine stop here. Great classic thin crust cheese. They actually cook the pizza enough for a great under-carriage.

This place has changed owners since I wrote my original review. We have not tried the dinners, but we were less than impressed by the pizza as the new owner changed the winning formula. We have not returned since and probably won't. --------------------------- We order about once a week. Everything form the pizzas to the dinners are absolutely delicious. If you've never eaten here before, definitely give it a try if you like NYC style pizza. Heads and shoulders above some of the other pizza places in the area that pile on thick spaghetti sauce and skimp on toppings. The pasta dinners are awesome, especially the Chicken Marsala, which will feed two people with a normal appetite. You can add a nice salad for $2. Highly recommended. read more

Which is now Empire Pizza--- I ordered a Classic Margherita pizza ( among other items, order came to more than $50) which is supposed to have fresh mozzarella and fresh basil. Pizza came w/ non- fresh mozzarella and a slight sprinkling of dried basil. When I called back to point this out to them, they kind of just blew me off. That's O.K. Ive been going here for The sausage, Peppers and onion Sausage sandwich eating also the steak sandwich...deciding which I loved the most! I've been a couple of weeks now having a Steak sandwich once a week and Sausage once a week on my too busiest nights coming home to late to cook. Let me tell you...it's been head to head with these two sandwiches twice a week For two weeks! My sandwich comparison was extremely close but we have a winner. The two things BOTH Steak and Sausage sandwiches have is the BREAD ROLLS. I KNOW THE DELICIOUS ROLLS add so very much to the taste as well as the sauce you get on the side to dip in Or drizzle on the sandwiches. It all meshes so well together. And no soggy bread! That's a sandwich killer for me! Both always piping HOT TOO. MY FAVORITE SANDWICH IS? (Drum Roll Please!)... The Steak Sandwich with peppers, onions, mushrooms and sauce on the side! I promise this was a very close call. Both are more or lass equal and I chose the Steak sandwich per my personal taste but if you get a chance you need to try both if you haven't. The buffalo chicken slice is the most amazing tasting thing ever! If you're a fan of buffalo slices, this one is a MUST TRY. Oh, and don't forget to add some garlic knots to your meal. Decided to try this place for the first time via DoorDash. The wings were overcooked and chewy. There was no garlic on the garlic knots, and their idea of "deep dish" pizza is what any other place (especially with NY in their name) would call "New York" style. Nothing remotely deep dish about it. Two stars instead of one because the pizza wasn't bad for what it was. Just not worth $19.50 for what's in reality a thin crust. Ordered over the phone was hung up on twice while trying to place it. When I arrived they had given me the wrong pizza I had ordered bbq which they said I ordered cheese. We were regular customers until my fiancé kissed me while we were waiting for our food, the owner saw us, raised his voice, and then told us to "get that shit out" of there and go get a hotel room.
