I had a really bad experience in the past with an electronic repair shop so I was really skeptical at first but with so many good reviews, I figured it wouldn't hurt to call to ask to get my PS4 fixed. I initially made a call at around 1045AM-ish only to realize the store wasn't open yet. Justin, the owner called me back at around 1130AM for a 3 minute conversation where I described the issues I was having. (They open at noon, btw) He just told me to bring it in for a free diagnostics and if he was able to fix it, it would be $80 with a three month warranty. I took my PS4 with me to go to his shop. After a quick chat and some waiting he was able to get my PS4 working again with no issues. He reiterated that if it breaks again within 3 months I could bring it in to get it fixed; if he couldn't fix it I would get my money back. I had considered fixing the PS4 on my own but considering how quick and relatively inexpensive it was I would recommend i Micro Board Repairs to everyone. For those wondering, the symptoms on my PS4 was that it wouldn't stay on after pressing the power button. The issue was a busted Power Supply Unit, which I had suspected. For those of you thinking "If this guy knew the issue, why didn't this guy fix it on his own? It would of been so much cheaper." I considered it, but I didn't want to wait to get a new PSU shipped to me, I didn't have the tools, and I couldn't give myself a 3 month warranty. read more

As I was just asking to repair the 2 main problems which were the PS3 blu ray and power button problem, he fixed both of them without any problems. Not only did he fixed those but he also charged cleaning and replacing thermal compound on my PS3 at NO COST so I basically got more than what I really paid for! My PS4 Slim could not read discs anymore and the disc that was inside was stuck. I read so much stuff online about how Sony sometimes takes months to not even completely solve your problem. Just like the other reviewers, I really recommend this place. I went to the place because my ps3 60gb model dvd drive was broken, and for replacing thermal paste on it. Also I brought my ps2 slim just to check if it is working. He handles mainly with the consoles and sometimes with smartphone and tablets. For your benefits, it is worth to just to bring your own electronics with issues to stop by and ask him if there's anything he can do about it. So this is the 2nd time that my Xbox has gotten the ring of death. I had it fixed the first time by David from OC Elite, and it worked for about a few weeks then it crapped out on me again. Dammit! Not wanting to have OC Elite attempt to fix it again, I decided to look for a new repair guy. I found Justin on Yelp, and although he only had 4 reviews at the time, I decided to take a chance since yelpers raved about him. After trying to repair my console, he determined it was unrepairable because the motherboard had been damaged (he got a lot more detailed than that, but I didn't understand all the techy terms). He offered to try and build me a new Xbox since he knew I didn't want to shell out the money for a new one. Justin helped me out re-balling my fat 60 GB PS3. Tried to re-flow it myself but didn't want to mess up the board with my lack of tools so I decided to take it to someone to get it done. I was a little uncomfortable taking it to a shop knowing that it's possible I might know more than they do, but decided to give a call to Justin and see what kind of experience/knowledge he had. I was glad to see the reviews that said he re-balled rather than just re-flowing PS3's. Asked him about the materials, tools, and processes he used and was more than satisfied with his answers. Dropped off my console before the weekend and got a call on Sunday afternoon saying it was finished. I was impressed with the timing and communication along with his work. He's a good guy and very professional. I'm going to take my PS3 back to him for a custom fan mod, so I hope I don't have to see him again soon. But that's a good thing, I hope. I haven't pushed it very hard yet since I've been busy, but I'm glad to see my PS3 back to life again and I finally got to finish my game right where I left off before it died with the YLOD. I would recommend Justin to my friends that need to re-ball their PS3's or even any other work needed for consoles. The 6 month warranty is an added bonus too. EDIT: After about a month, my PS3 got a YLOD again and I brought it back to Justin. He fixed it again and it's been about 3 months and it's been running great since. I finally found some time to write this because i just have so much to say. Justin, you are my man for all my electronic needs and that will probably NEVER CHANGE. The first time i ran into justin was when i bought a bad ps4 that was messed up in so many ways; if i remember correctly, he gave me a fee and with that, he would be able to go through and fix what was needed to be done and i happily accepted. I came to his location and from then, i felt so comfortable and a bond because justin's customer service was so great. since then, I've been back to BUY another Ps4 (had to sell my first one for some other reasons) and as always, he is still the best, offering me knowledge on EVERYTHING that he's doing, so that you're not sitting in the dark like other competitors. Justin's moved around from location to location, yet everywhere he goes, a vibe of comfort is always present. Like others mentioned, theres a couch and tv in his "waiting area" so you can sit and play your system while he fixes something else or you can relax to some T.V. It really lightens the mood sometimes especially when you're at his repair shop and you have no idea the condition of your console/phone that needs fixing. Believe me when i say this, I am NOT biased in writing this review; justin just honestly deserves the praise that comes his way. He has proven himself different from others, both with his diligent and quick but accurate work, and his work habits, like how he will call you on the phone and have a conversation with you about everything instead of simply sending you a text saying "oh, come by this place at this time and i'll have a look at it" like MOST other places. i have to note, do not believe the negative reviews that have been posted on his yelp, they are his competitors'. and if you still do not see the light, take the time to read through the review. and then come to his and see for yourself that JUSTIN, IS THE REAL DEAL. his knowledge and performance is incomparable to anywhere else. My Xbox 360 started to fail on me and refused to read games after some time. So, on Sunday, after attempting to fix it myself, I gave up and searched for someone to do it instead. I found various places that would have fixed it, but most said that they were closed or their technician was away. Bummer. By mere chance, I stumbled upon Justin. I called him and he was immensely informative and caring, and I immediately was sold. It helped that he was willing to take care of it immediately, and that his prices were very affordable. I took the Xbox 360 to his place, and was delighted to meet the guy. Quite an interesting experience I tell you: I was outside his house, and was greeted by his folks. Very kind people, and interesting haha. There were cats passing by, hummingbirds on and about. Time flew by, and after chattering with his folks, Justin came out with the fixed Xbox and explained to me what had happened. I've never been so intrigued by someone's expertise on stuff like this. After getting the, dreaded, flashing, red light of death and knowing that my 8 year old PS3 had finally quit on me, I started looking online for ways to fix it myself. After seeing hours of video showing guys with heat guns and boxes and other countless quick fixes, I started to check Yelp. Thankfully, Justin is out there in the world and has a great set of reviews, besides the obvious fake ones. Justin works out of his house, but that really didn't bother me at all. I dropped my PS3 on a Thursday and got it back by Sunday afternoon, I believe. Justin told me how he was going to replace the solder on either the graphics card or the CPU and that he uses a process called re-balling...apparently, re-creating all of the little balls of solder on the card. I couldn't be happier with the results...everything is working like it was brand new again and the game I had going at the time was exactly where I left it. WATCH OUT!!!!! Not only is this place unwelcoming but Justin is extremely rude. Upon pulling up to this duplex, I was reluctant to approach with all the stray cats, beat up furniture outside & 8-9 cars in the drive way. I was approached by a man (not Justin) who said that Justin was asleep. Mind you, I made an appointment with him the day before & he knew I was coming. He went inside to wake him up. Justin came out half asleep and started off by saying that he doesn't wake up this early (930 am). He asked what was going on with my PS3 & then said that he would take a look at it inside. He asked that I wait outside in the driveway (REALLY?). I told him that I would feel more comfortable being inside with the PS3 so that I knew what he was doing to it. He said NO because then I would see & know how he fixes these. (Shouldn't I know what he is doing). He threw a fit & said that was so insulting. Again, I stated that I didn't feel comfortable giving my PS3 to someone I do not know, wait in a driveway & hope that this is legit. He got upset & said for me to wait so he could go get his tools. He comes out with a few screw drivers & huffs & puffs while he pulls up a chair to sit down. He then tells me I can find a chair in the front yard & sit down. Before doing anything, he says that he needs to go & test it & I again stressed my reluctance to not being with the PS3. He again refuses to allow me in. At this point I decided that I didn't want to continue & said that I would go somewhere else. He got upset & sarcastically said fine. This place is seriously a mess, this guy is rude and I can't believe anyone would trust to leave their merchandise unattended with this guy. He definitely did not make me feel comfortable & made me feel as though I was interrupting his day (I drove over an hour ). No people or sales skills with this guy. Justin is the BEST!! So worth the drive from the South Bay to Orange County! Everyone I contacted around here claimed to be able to fix "ANY" PS4 problem, but when I told them that I needed the HDMI port replaced, everyone said they couldn't do it. I even had the replacement port already! Took a chance and called Justin after reading the previous Yelp reviews and he said no problem! Turn around time about 3 hours, but I elected to come back the next day so there was no rush. Justin called me when it was ready, I hooked it up when I got back home and the PS4 works great!!! My son will be stoked when he comes home on leave! Great prices also! Normal price to replace the port is $120, charged me $80 because I had the part. The $120 price is much less than another place I called who said they could "try, but they couldn't guarantee if the PS4 would work afterwards." Uh.....no brainer!
