Alfonso is the real deal. I came to him with a solid state hard drive from a 2012 macbook air that had crashed. I had tried to recover the data off of it myself using a SD reader I purchased from amazon. When that failed, I paid another data recovery business in Irvine (this was not Alfonso or Cyber Electronics) about $500 for them to try recover it, and they took many many months to give me essentially 1% of what was on that drive, with many of those files being corrupt. They then told me that the drive was toast and that there was nothing more to be done and pretty much still made me pay because they supposedly put the work in already. They essentially told me my drive was useless now and could be trashed. I felt very suspicious about how this company handled my recovery, so as a hail mary I brought my same drive to Alfonso at Cyber Electronics Data Recovery. I explained to him my situation and that I wanted to see if in fact my drive was fully dead. Alfonso was very realistic, told me the probability of recovery given that solid state drives are harder to recover, and told me that he wouldn't bill me if he wasn't able to recover anything. However, given the condition of my drive, he essentially had to do all the work of a full recovery first, put in the hours without me having paid anything yet, to even see if anything could be salvaged. Over the next few days, he texted me every single day to give me an update as to what he had done, and what still needed to be done. He knew that the last data recovery company really screwed me, so he ensured that I would get a different experience. I'm happy to report that only a few days later, he called me with great news...he recovered my drive...the same drive that a yelp 5-star Irvine based data recovery company said was toast and recovered almost nothing off of. On Monday October 14th, 2024, I just already went to this place but I refuse not to pay the amount and then afterwards on Thursday October 17th, 2024, I did went back to this place and I pay the fair amount price then it give me for deposit $95.00 first after I pay of deposit and followed by this week which is today I did pay $205. Remember always bring for backup external hard drive in case as the current external hard drive has no longer actived which leads to bad sector on the current external hard drive that's how Mr. Alfonso recommended I do agreed with him and what happens to me by the way. So anyways while to bring external hard drive with data loss partition and let him have time to solve it within 3-5 days depending the external hard drive but my recommendation do not go to his office urgently without text/call but wait for until he texted/called then go to his office with processed for recover data as from now on. To be honest, I tried to use the Diskdrill (third-party software) and recover 50/50 chance but I did not try to solved the issues from my original folder name. That's how I did try professional data recovery services for this place of sample. I find out from Mr. Alfonso said "there was a lost and found files so he did organize the folder names but he recommend me that I need have time to organized the folder name for going over the steps." I agree with him and unfortunately my current external hard drive has bad sector by the way. My recommendation of myself when to have current Windows 11 23H2 but not install Windows Media Creation Tool otherwise it will overwrite the data folder names with format from 2tb to 32gb fat usd-usb partition as lead to lost partition on the current external hard drive. I should have waited for Windows 11 24H2 update after this October 2024 then I would have learn the lesson. As long story short is Windows 11 24H2 did release for this month but it was not compatible yet to release in the phase. Windows should have to release the phase of 24H2 update in first place. As anyways I do understand about human error situation when people done mistakes with accidentally formatted to usd-usb partition from current external hard drive. While not solve the problem for original folder names on data recovery software and I would recommend bring external hard drive for this place to Mr. Alfonso then he will solved the problem of external hard drive. Truly a five star business. Tuesday I was working on a project and when I went to save, my darn computer decided to give me a hardware error. Tried again, same error. Explorer couldn't access the external drive. Panic sets in. Rebooted and same issue. Removed the drive from the enclosure and connected it to the motherboard directly. Same issue. Do not go anywhere else if your data is important to you! Before finding Alfonso, I went to a place in Irvine and they were crooks and took my credit card info down, told me the fee was $95 for diagnoses and then charged my card an additional $380 stating its for the lab to figure out issues and then told me it would cost additional on top of the $95 and $380 for parts and recovery and can end up being $2500-$5000 but theres no guarantee. At that point, I knew I had to get my drive back from these Irvine crooks because they were trying to extort money from me every week. My husband had been laid off from his job so money is already tight so there was no way to pay the extortion fee. I had sleepless nights worrying about what they would do to the drive if I didn't pay. When I finally got my drive back from those Irvine crooks, I searched and found Alfonso. Although he doesn't have a lot of reviews like the Irvine crooks I first went to, I saw that his other reviews sounded genuine and real, so I decided to swing in to talk to him. 1st thing Alfonso asked me is if someone has opened the drive and I told him about where I took it and what happened. His response was that he is worried that they might of damaged it and I told him that is also my concern, but I told him I was really calm and nice with those crooks when retrieving my drive back so the data might be ok. I am a freelance videographer and have literally never had a hard drive go down...until a few weeks ago. My back up plan had redundancy built-in with a Windows Storage Spaces RAID 0 (for speed) and a second copy offsite. I found Cyber Electronics using Yelp. My hard drive (Western Digital) completely stopped working last week. We had 9 years worth of pictures and information stored and it was our ONLY backup. Oh my goodness! Cyber Electronics and Alfonso were an answered prayer! One day, I turned on my Dell PC just as I normally would and I got a black screen with colored text on it! I've never been to a data recovery service place before and I was scared of being taken advantage. Al Defintely did not take advantage and had a very affordable rate!! I called other places and they changed above 600$ or more. Al was very thorough on trying to help me understand what happened to my external drive and got back everything for me! The first try we found some files missing but then he reformatted my drive to only Mac (cause that's what I was using) and now all of my files are saved and restored! I went to Cyber Electronics for help with a Western Digital 250 GB Hard Drive that was manufactured in 2005 and then crashed suddenly without harm to the rest of the computer in 2011. If you are anything like me, you'll probably try to take apart your computer and go through the standard, "why isn't my computer working" techniques. Whatever you do: DO NOT OPEN OP THE HARD DRIVE. They are extremely fragile and must be worked on by professionals in a "clean room." I called the most advertised places to the smallest, hole in the wall, places I could find. I would imagine at least 12 places overall. For the size drive I had, with a mechanical problem (the needles in my drive malfunctioned), I was getting quoted with a minimum of $800. No one said less than that. Plus, the time frame was a week and a half to two weeks unless I wanted to pay more to have it back quickly, as I would have to ship my drive somewhere OR if I took my drive to some places, they would then ship it somewhere else themselves! Let's recap the horrible places: $800++, horrible time frame, far away shipping, not helpful on phone Now let's talk about Cyber Electronics (best place ever)... When I called them, I wasn't directed around by an answering machine... I got to talk to a HUMAN BEING, how novel of an idea! I spoke with Alfonso Sanchez and Paul Torres. These guys are studs and were able to answer all of my questions, politely too! They quoted me anywhere between $400- $700 dollars. Their maximum was cheaper than anyone else's minimum! Also they didn't have to send my drive anywhere because they had a "clean room" on the premises. Which also meant I could have my drive back in TWO days and there was no shipping. Let's recap Cyber Electronics now: $400-700, which ended up being $600. Not bad at all! NO shipping. VERY HELPFUL on the phone. GREAT time frame. For having something so miserable happen, this experience turned out great and they were able to recover 99% of everything I gave them. I'm missing like a handful of pictures, but compared to the 10,000+ I had.... I'm more than happy. PLUS, they keep a copy of all of your information for 2 weeks incase anything happens to your new drive. If you don't want them to, they will delete it right then. If you want them to keep it longer, they can do that too! I was very pleased by the honest work that these gentleman did and hope that this review urges future customers to give them a try. I had a hard drive crash so I sent it to a place here in LA at first. It was a simple recovery but they quoted me $2100 to recover the data. I found Cyber Electronics about 45 minutes away and they charge $700 flat rate. They recovered my data no problem. I searched around (extensively). They are the best bang for your buck. My Western Digital 2TB Passport Ultra portable external hard drive had suddenly stopped working at the worst possible time. After searching for places to get my hard drive fixed and not being treated decently for my business; a friend of mine recommended Cyber Electronics. I took my computer to Cyber Electronics to see if they could recover my data from my hard drive that crashed. I was prepared to pay a fortune which stressed me out, but no matter what I had to retrieve my files because I am a photographer and need to have my clients images. I took it to a place by my house and they couldn't do anything with it . So I took it to Cyber and they had my computer for about 3 weeks but that was more my choice because I wanted them to pull whatever they could off of my drive. They know what they are doing they managed to save about 97% of my images and documents. It takes a while to recover data from a drive that is damaged so I suggest you have patience and faith these guys are good. I was trying to access some files in one of my internal storage hard drives until it started hanging and then realized my hard drive was failing. I've never had a hard drive fail on me before and did not know what was happening. I ran some diagnostic tests on my computer and it failed all of them. I brought my hard drive here and Alfonso basically explained what was happening in my HD. Very professional place with great customer service. He even told me of a great software to store my data so this won't happen again. I would definitely come back if/when another HD fails and will definitely recommend my family and friends here.
