Terrible customer service, poor communication, and a complete waste of my time…read more I dropped off my Lenovo laptop on August 19, 2026 to have the hinge repaired. My receipt says "Tomorrow" for pickup, meaning I was told it would be ready on August 20. I couldn't make it on the 20th, so I came on August 21, giving him an extra day. When I handed Nick my receipt, he started scrambling around looking for my laptop and then asked me to give him another 10-15 minutes to fix it. Clearly, the laptop was not ready as promised. He also could not find my charging cord at first and had to look around multiple times before locating it. When he put the laptop back together, it was poorly assembled with visible gaps and open spaces. Nick told me it still needed to be glued and asked me to come back AGAIN later that day. I told him I live far away and could not keep making trips back and forth. Nick then gave me another option: he said he would finish the laptop and personally leave it with the tailor lady in the store so I could pick it up from her. He was very specific about this arrangement and even clearly told me that the tailor lady only accepts cash or Zelle and does not accept cards. Based on how detailed his instructions were, I had every reason to believe my laptop would actually be left with her as promised. I came back on August 22 specifically to pick up my laptop from the tailor lady. She told me Nick never gave her my laptop. So now I have made multiple unnecessary trips, spent time and gas driving back and forth, followed Nick's exact pickup instructions, and I STILL do not have my laptop. I was told I now have to come back AGAIN on Monday when Nick returns. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Nick has repeatedly told me something would be done and then failed to follow through. What should have been a simple hinge repair has turned into a poorly assembled laptop, a temporarily misplaced charging cord, multiple wasted trips, and repeated promises that were not kept. I will update this review after Monday to document whether my laptop is finally repaired properly and returned to me. Update 8/25/26: I was finally able to pick up my laptop today. Nick called me Monday to let me know it was ready and apologized for everything that happened. When I picked it up, Nick also acknowledged that a piece near the hinge had been lost during the repair, so unfortunately my laptop was returned with that piece missing. He gave me a discount because of the missing piece and all of the miscommunication. I do appreciate that Nick took responsibility, apologized, and adjusted the price. However, I'm still disappointed that after everything I went through to get the hinge repaired, I received my laptop back with one of its original pieces missing. The discount was appreciated, but I would have preferred to have my laptop returned complete and not have gone through so many unnecessary trips and delays in the first place.

I mentioned that I had messaged them via Yelp for pricing & they kinda gas lighted me & said they didn't respond to me. End of this story, just walk in & ask for the price in person. I don't mind paying, but I didn't like the lies. It took me a while to find the message, but I finally did after we left. Just wanted to show them I wasn't lying like them. So i called this business to ask for an estimate for a screen replacement for galaxy they told me $150 which I figured was a good price since everywhere else they were charging me 250 + ... i was busy so I had my cousin drop off my phone to them. I had no phone so my cousin had no way of getting a hold of me but I guess he was told by the same person I spoke to on the phone that they would have to replace my frame with a black instead of violet which is the color of my phone. He insisted that the violet color was an extra $100 to order. Since I couldn't pay anymore than 150 my cousin left my phone to him anyway. My phone was done the next day and my phone looks terrible. It looks like 5 year old replaced my screen and to top it off there was a tiny chip on the screenn. Also the frame wasn't even glued down properly and it's coming out of place. The screen cracked because I tried to press down lightly to get the frame to snap back into place. The glass was not worth $150 it felt like cheap plastic that looks like glass. I was never even told that the screen wouldn't be fingerprint compatible. My phone stopped charging because this man told my friend to make sure to have the phone with a case because the frame and the back/battery were not properly installed. As of today my phone no longer charges and the screen won't turn on it's completely dark. Also when i turned my phone on some of the settings were changed which means they must've went thru my phone (we will get to that later) .... I contemplated a few days if I should go speak to this person and explain to him what happened he could maybe replace my screen and this time with the original colored frame without the extra charge instead as soon as I began explaining to him he cut me off and said there was nothing he can do and that they didn't do refunds I tried to tell him that I was told one thing and then was told another and that the quality of the screen he installed was not good. He lied and said he had told me over the phone that the screen was after market. He never mentioned any of this otherwise I wouldn't have gone to him. Why would I agree to pay that much money for a cheap ass screen and a different color frame. ? He kept saying that he had proof that he did inform me of this and he said he would pull up his landline to show me the phone call where he stated this. I told him I would love to hear it and then he begins to cuss me out telling me to get the fuck out of his store and as I'm walking out he begins to charge at me and tells me to come back and fight him. I was shocked I couldn't believe that this guy really was treating me this way because I questioned his work which was not worth the money I paid. Then as I'm driving home my phone that he fixed completely blocks my network and won't read my SIM card or eSIM. I can almost guarantee he had a way to access my phone and since he was mad he made sure I could never use my phone again. And if he did that to me I can only imagine how many people he has done this too. He probably stores everyone's data from their phone. To anyone thinking of going here please don't. Idk how this guy is still in business he is no professional whatsoever. If you need a screen replacement your best bet would be to buy the stuff off Amazon and try to do it yourself I guarantee you can do a better

These things are expensive, so I looked at repairing it versus replacing for a new iPad. While the Apple store will perform some work, they are closed during the pandemic, so I started Yelping alternatives. I contacted a phone service shop, and they explained the work required micro-soldering, which they don't do, but were nice enough to refer me to iTechCare. I contacted iTechCare and spoke with Xia. She is clearly very knowledgeable, and knew exactly what the work entailed. She made a recommendation on changing the battery since the case will be open, and the battery had a few years of charging cycles on it. I opted to just have the charging port replaced. I wanted to keep the time the iPad was away as short as possible, so I paid a deposit so the parts could be ordered. Then a couple of days later Xia notified me the parts were in, I dropped it off that evening, and she had it ready for pick up the next afternoon. Xia showed me photos of the old very-damaged charging port, which had several charging pins bent and some missing all together. It's been a couple of weeks now and the new charging port is still working flawlessly. Thank you!
