i came to have the speaker of my 6Splus exchanged. When I returned to pick up they informed me they'd need the phone for 2 more days because the new speaker, which apparently is the whole bottom of the phone, somehow shorted the battery and the phone did not start. when they put back the old speaker unit, the phone didn't start either. 2 more days because they are closed sundays and because the higher level tech guy wasn't there during my visit. Monday I returned and they got the phone working again. Sadly the new speaker still sounded blown so they changed the mesh that covers the speaker. Speaker finally sounded great. I had an appointment that morning 1hr and 15 minutes away, which I think put them under time pressure when they worked on it as far as thorough testing. Which is understandable. Later that morning I discovered that the camera, LED light and ear speaker (when holding the phone to your ear) did no longer work. This is something that has never happened to me since owning iPhones since 2007, and definitely not with this particular phone. Meaning it wasn't a pre existing issue. I informed them of this and they promised to fix it but also said that my having so little time made it harder for them as they didn't have the luxury of time to test the phone properly. I however had already gotten to Ventura County and didn't feel like adding another 3 hours sum total of driving back to Pasadena and back up to Ventura. So I had it fixed locally up here. Apparently, there is a thin cable that connects the camera and led light and upper speaker assembly to the motherboard and that was slightly bent and therefore no longer functional. I was informed that can happen when you open the front glass at too wide of an angle. The thing is, a month ago I had my battery replaced. No one knows whether some incipient damage was done then, which resulted by mere coincidence in the failure of the camera part. Life's not perfect. That's an old phone and while initially I thought, what did "they" do to my phone, I now see the larger picture. Shit happens and they truly did their best given the circumstances. Like putting in 3x the labor since the repair had to be redone twice, but only charging me once. They also displayed the utmost level of kindness and professionalism. All around nice guys and i would not hesitate to go back. The less here is that it's time for a new phone. I endorse and recommend this repair shop. Thank you. read more

In response to the owners comment below: thank you for your response. Yes I'm positive it was this location, the total was actually $119 for LED screen replacement. I sent my mom last week. She did not notice a corner lifted until she took it to AT&T because it now has water damage despite the phone not having any cracks and being a waterproof iPhone model. They told her the screen wasn't fully installed properly which led to the damage due to humidity entering through the corner than wasn't fully set in place. I will have my mom come back when she has a day off to show you. read more

But not; apparently it took them two days to get my phone working, and on those too days they manage to clon my cards/account and took some almost $2,500. I Repair it Fast does not actually repair it fast at all. I submitted a request for a quote on Yelp to remove a non-ejecting disc from my Mac and was promptly contacted by Sam, who said it sounded like a quick fix that wouldn't cost much or take very long. Sam told me that if I drove out to Pasadena to the store that Andrew would be able to help me. Despite living in Studio City, I optimistically drove out to meet Andrew at the store. When I arrived, computer in hand, I was exited to see I was the only customer in the building and anticipated a quick resolution to my sticky disc situation. After a minute, Andrew emerged from behind the counter and I explained the problem with the disc not ejecting and that Sam had sent me over. It was at this point that Andrew told me he actually couldn't even look at the computer today, but that if I left it he might be able to get to it tomorrow. Not exactly the "Repair it Fast" outcome I had hoped for and been led to believe would occur. Sadly I took my computer and left disappointed. Overall I cannot attest to the quality of their work, but I can tell you that their name is misleading and so is what they tell you in order to trick you into bringing your computer to them, which does not translate into a quality business model. read more

Phillip is a talented and kind technician who skillfully replaced the battery in my Apple Watch. However he is totally overworked. The shop is a literal tornado behind the counter and in the back (I'll spare the pictures). My fix was delayed twice and when I came for a third attempt my watch was "lost" and had to be found amongst the rubble (at first I was asked to come back a fourth time but I insisted on staying and having it found since it is a long drive). In any case, Phillip found my watch, apologized, and replaced my battery then and there. He also provided a generous discount which is why this review carries 4 rather than 1 star. The boss just hired an assistant (today was his first day) and I think he will prove to be a great asset to the store. He appears to complement Phillip well in terms of helping with organization and perhaps he may also help with scheduling so Phillip can actually get things done rather than running to the counter and answering the phone every 2 minutes (quite literally). I had my Pixel 3a XL Repaired by the guys at I Repair it Fast and was very happy with the quality of their work as well as their customer service. At first I thought my phone screen was cracked after I dropped it on the ground, after inspection they told me that a capacitor was broken from the fall as well. They specially ordered the part and gave me a call when it arrived. A few hours later, my phone was as good as new, for a reasonable cost. Complete Do NOT recommend. I came to change the front of my iPhone and they offered 2 options: original glass for $200 or some cheaper version for $150. I agreed on the original one. When i picked up my phone, message popped up that iPhone is unable to verify wether the screen is genuine. And that only happens if you put some cheap staff on it. I refused to pay and they returned my phone with old screen in even worse condition. Watch out! All the good guys doing a real job left that place months ago. Update: I am happy I told all friends of mine about this place and at least 5 their potential clients went to a different place. How dare are they to comment that i was close with some other employee?? The only thing i said is that unlike them, previous employees did their job done great! This place is the worst. I brought in my MacBook Air to have a part replaced and a month later am picking it up again because they couldn't find the part. That fact isn't their fault but what was awful was that I had to keep calling them for updates. Not once did they call me and tell me what was going on. Once a week or so I would call and ask what was happening and they would say, oh I guess we couldn't locate the part and we didn't know if you wanted us to keep looking. Or the part got lost in the mail and it'll take another three days to get and did you want to do that? But never once did they call me and tell me any of that so I could make a decision in a timely manner and get my computer back!
