I upgraded to leather from the old factory cloth and Ryan matched my dash and door panels perfectly. They replaced my seat control after they lost a small switch cover. I cannot express how happy I am with the work Ian's provided. Long story short, what started as a small tear in my front seat quickly became an unsightly rip. I sent in a few photos to Ian's via email to comprehend if they could provide an estimate. Shockingly, within the same day I had a very reasonable quote and set the appointment. I arrived shortly before 8:00 and was able to pick the vehicle up just after 2:00 the same day. The seat looks better than new. Just awful. We own over 12 custom classic cars so know a good upholstery job when we see one. Ian's isn't it! It costs me a lot more money to have someone fix the mess his guys did. Wires hanging out just dangling. Carpet cut & not seamed back afterwards. Really bad covering on the seats, put too much cushion & built a seat up for some unknown reason to where a woman of 5'5", her feet didn't even reach the ground anymore! Strange, it was already at normal height. Just really bad finish work. Working with my cc now to get charges reversed cause we got LOTS of pictures to prove this. read more

Ian's is amazing! I brought my BMW there because I had a minuscule slit/flap in my leather door handle. The local BMW dealership said they would have to replace the entire handle, but Ian's fixed it to PERFECTION for I'm sure a fraction of what a new handle would have cost. I called around to quite a few dealerships and repair shops asking where to get my '99 Mustangs convertible top repaired, everyone recommended Ian's. We were quoted $350 to $450 for a headliner replacement on a VW CC so we drove across town to bring the car in for repair. After my wife got their the owner said it would be $600. I talked with him on the phone and asked why they quoted us $350-450 and he replied "You should have said it was 4 door" I asked "what's the difference the size" he said yes. I had a new black German canvas convertible top replaced at Ian's. They charged me $1,995.00 and the flap on the side would not lie flat. I was not happy with it, but they would not redo it. The seats on my 2003 Saturn Vue were cracked and in need of repair. I was recommended to them by Findlay Chevrolet since they didn't do that type of work. They gave me a price, ordered the materials and completed the work a day early. The day it was ready my son was suppose to pick me up and drive me over to get the car, but unfortunately he got hung up on a job and was delayed. They offered to pick me up so i could get my car, now that is service you don't see anymore. Now for the quality of work, the seats look like they came out of the GM factory! They are back to factory specifications and look great. This will be the only place i will take my cars for interior repairs. This review is long over due. The driver's seat back rest was broken on my E30. I called and they told me to bring it by so they can take a look at it. It was during the busy holiday months and they were booked out a week. I needed to get this seat fixed because my car is a daily driver. They orignially scheduled me a week out, but with some ideas and planning from both the owner and me, they moved my appointment sooner. I knew it was difficult for them to do that, but they worked with me and got it fixed! They made me happy and I was more than satisfied with the work too! Keep in mind that E30 seats aren't easy to find and we basically used one of my other seats as a donor. I really like the fact that they're the kind of shop that will check things out for you and give you the options for them to do it or explain how to do it on your own if it's possible. Ian's Auto Interiors was recommended by Franks European Service and found Ian and Cindy to answer my questions and make the appointment convenient. I got my 1997 C280 Mercedes to the shop, left it overnight for a headliner replacement and when I came the next day to pick it up I was SHOCKED at the poor workmanship. After speaking with Cindy who reviewed the problem she contacted Ian and we left the car to be redone and picked up the next week. We had already lost 2 days work and didn't need any more lost time. The next week we were called and told the car was finished and Ian would be available to go over the work, yes even on a Saturday. I contacted a Chevy dealership in Henderson and they said Ian's on Decatur. I made 8 or 9 visits to have my rear cargo carpet replaced. The office manager Cindy is a true professional but the work that was done on my 1996 Corvette was so unprofessional that people stare at the bad job that was done. When I picked up my car I noticed 2 holes where the window hatches are. Cindy took pictures and said she would speed to Ian. After a month no one contacted me I returned to speak too Ian and he was not interested in this repair or doing the job but said he would see. I also had a custom light cover put on by them that comes off all the time. I was also going too have my 2 seats redone but not at Ian's. It will cost me more money too have the bubbles and the two holes repaired. Ian's completed the most complex project of replacing all of the back cargo carpet with unimpressive results.
