I would normally give a 5 for Ian's. But not last night. I called and ordered a Large 4 meat specialty pizza. $17.99 online but quoted $20.33. I was OK with that. When I went to pick the pizza up, I was told it would be $33.53. I replied that I was not paying that. The person at the register said OK. I asked what my order showed. And I was told it was a Giant half something and half something else. I replied that that was not my order and I would not pay for that. The reply was "I sorry." I told her that I was too then left. There was no offer to correct my order. All I got was 30 minutes in Hiram traffic and leftovers when I got back home. Hands down Best pizza in Hiram! It starts with the crust, we like the chewy but crispy texture. The toppings are abundant and always fresh!

The pizza was spot on for those who enjoy eating cardboard. Threw the cardboard pizza in the trash and ate leftovers for dinner.

Tonight was the last visit to Ian's Oven Pizza. I usually place a to-go order at least once a month. I ordered obline my usual lemon pepper wings and fries extra crispy on both. Received well overcooked wings. The fries were burnt. The wings were cooked in old grease. The wings were unusually small. C This is not worth $15 of anybody's money especially mine. Pizza was really good. Cooked just as requested and easy on the sauce. It's located off the main hwy so you have to turn into the plaza to get to it. It wasnt crowded (due to covid 19) but the orders were steady coming in...which is a great thing in my opinion, means its well liked. We had an hour wait for cook time. No problem due to us making a couple stops at local stores. We will definitely call in next time as this was a spur of the moment thing and wanted to try it out. When you walk in, just go find your table. No need to stand by the door or register like a moron. That's what I did because it wasn't marked to seat yourself. The place is small, so get here early or you could potentially be waiting for a seat. This calzone was huge! I mean you could almost put a car inside the calzone. The dough was crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, like your mom. The problem with the inside is that it seriously lacked toppings. For the money you can't go wrong though. The marinara was the star. I think next time I'll get a Stromboli so I can taste more of the marinara. read more

First of all... They sell pizza by the slice so I was already happy that I didn't have to purchase a whole pie because I was just in the area & hungry. The single slice allowed me to test the waters & i have to say I will definitely be back to get a whole one. I am not sure if it's NY based or Chicago based, but either way it's some good pizza. My son and I decided to try Ian's Oven Pizza yesterday evening for the first time and I don't know what I make of the place, now I will say this first......they have some pretty good lemon pepper wings, they were not over oily and had the perfect amount of seasoning, but I'm not huge fan of the place in general.....something was a little off about the service as well as the pizza. We ordered the house pizza which is also known as the supreme with the meat and veggies. If you follow my reviews you may already know that my son and I consume a lot of pizza.....so at this point we know GOOD PIZZA, and this one was a little off.... it felt like maybe there wasn't enough sauce on the pie because the flavors were not popping, It became clear to me after my son stated that we should have ordered the all meat pizza. I wouldn't recommend this place as a first option....of course I will have to try other items to be sure, as of now Ian's is just ok. Our waitress was polite, but I think she may need some help.....they had a little rush while we were there and she seem to be stretched a little to thin, we needed a refill halfway thru the visit, she couldn't tell because they use styrofoam cups and she was a little unreachable, we also received someone else's hot wings and it took me a while to get the attention of the cook and it still seem to have been a little confusion on weather I ordered them or not, (just removed them and figure it out later..... I don't know what sauce was on them, but I didn't like the smell). Prices were typical, they actually have a special on a 12' cheese pizza for $5 - NOT BAD at all. I love pizza it's on of my favorite places to eat so I'm very picky on where I go. I had finished up playing ball at the park and a few people suggested this place. And I could very easily see why. It's a small place kind of hidden behind the new Race Trac. It's small inside but has a lot of choices on food and has a few TVs to watch the games. Their "small" 12" cheese pizza is $5 and you can't beat that! Additional toppings are $1.50. So I got a cheese and pepperoni and bacon pizza. It didn't take long for the people in the back to make it but wow was it good! A nice crispy crust and the tomato sauce was tasteful. Side note if you want some knots get the garlic butter ones. They are like crack! We devoured them as if we'd die from hunger. I will def be coming back here! read more

I've tried delivery and pick up to see if I can get my order correct. My family likes extra sauce on our pizza. Simple. Placed order for delivery, no extra sauce. Placed a order for pick up, ordered extra sauce was told not to get it because the vegetables on the pizza produce water. Then said we like saucy pizza, cook it well done but not burnt. Pick up order No sauce on the pizza and indications the crust is old (fresh crust will brown when cooked well done) this one did not and we got no sauce with the old crust. There's a lot of fast food pizza places near me, but I have to say that Ian's never disappoints me. I order the GF pizza and it's one of the best ones I've had in the area. We love Ian's pepperoni pizza and lemon pepper wings. It is so good. I must admit that the wings were better the very first time we ordered because we could actually taste "real" lemon and not just flavoring. I'm removing a star because the wait time or timing issue is ridiculous. We ordered on three different Fridays. The first Friday we walked in and ordered; it took about 1.5 hours but it was delicious. We learned our lesson so the next time we called our order in. When we arrived at the designated time we still had to wait. The employees ought to offer a tea or something for the long wait. We understand it takes time and is made to order. We like supporting local businesses. So the third time, we called in our order, arrived at the designated time, and walked in to find our order was ready. There is no warmer so the pizza and wings were slightly cold. I absolutely do not eat cold pizza and wings. We always wonder where is Ian? Who is Ian? Fantastic pizza!!!! Crust is perfect. I had the 12 inch cheese. Nice quality cheeses and it's a huge pizza. The crust is thin but not too thin. It's nicely browned on the bottom to give it that stone baked taste. The crust ring is perfect. Very nice staff also. Will definitely come back. read more

Since they moved to a non dine in food is much better! They seem to be the only pizza place that our family agrees on for taste texture and sauce. Ian's sauce does not contain a boat load of sugar or acidic tomatoes also the crust is delicious! My personal fav menu items are the calzones. Garlic knots (order well done) and 16"pizzas. Prices are excellent as are family deals. The wings are large and amazing!! the hot sauce is made there as are dressings. highly suggest eating, wish they delivered to Old Villa Rica Rd. read more

UPDATE: it's with sadness that I leave an updated review. The pizza is only amazing if I can order it. Tried for 30 minutes to place an order over the phone but each time I called I got a message that they were busy with other customers and to call back later. Well, if I start trying to order at 4:45 and still can't get a person on the line to make my order, then I had to change my 5 star review to a 3 star. Great pizza if you can get one ordered or go to restaurant. I decided to order from Giovanni's Italian Restaurant on East west Connector instead. Very friendly place. Will post a review for them shortly. Previous review: I believe pizza should have it's own place on the food pyramid. As a pizza fanatic, I was excited to try Ian's Oven Pizza after seeing so many positive reviews. I ordered take-out pizza with a side salad and could not be happier with my pie. WOW, it was delicious! The customer service was friendly and provided additional information when I asked questions about the restaurant. The salad was fresh, crisp and delicious. But the main event was the pizza. It was cooked perfectly, the crust was crisp (not burnt like some pizzas are), sauce was incredibly flavorful, and toppings and cheese was perfectly cooked. Could easily be a 5 Star review. The good - they make a good pie, arguably the best in this part of town. People are nice and friendly. Place is clean, all the things you'd expect from a nice place. What could take them to 5 stars.....? They need to figure out delivery. They can't get it done in a timely manner. Quitting a 1.25 hour delivery time means you need a better system. I'm happy to eat in or carry out, when I'm feeling lazy I wish I could have a pie delivered. read more
