This lounge is simply a quiet place to sit and wait for your flight away from the noisy chatter and overhead announcements at the terminal. They have complimentary wifi and outlets to charge your devices. If you snag a seat by the windows you have a lovely view of the garden. There is no food or alcohol. You are also not allowed to eat any food or snacks you bring into the lounge yourself. They do offer some beverages including coffee, tea, juice, water, and some canned sodas. I actually really enjoyed the yummy guava juice they had available! Overall I would not pay money to enter this lounge. If your credit card perks include a limited number of Priority Pass lounge visits I would skip this one. My boyfriend has unlimited Priority Pass lounge access with two free guests as a Ritz Carlton card holder so we lose out on nothing by coming in, but compared to other airport lounges we've visited this lounge definitely leaves a lot to be desired. read more

Using my Priority Pass, I was able to gain access to this lounge with my wife and son. It is located on the ground floor of the international terminal and can be a bit challenging to find as the markings aren't very clear so keep that in mind if you are searching for this lounge. This lounge is a massive rectangular room and offers a lot of of seating along with beverages in cans and iced water. It is air-conditioned and is a nice respite away from other portions of the terminal which are open air and can get a little warm depending on the season. We didn't stay very long as the lounge got full very quickly and felt a little crowded so we decided to leave and head to arcade a little early. All in all a nice spot for a quick rest but not somewhere I would find myself staying too long as you are not able to have a private conversation as there is no auditory privacy here. But I do appreciate the cold beverages and a soft, comfy chair. read more

The layout of the lounge is slightly awkward too. It's 4 rows of seating and kind of reminds me of an airport gate where there isn't a lot of privacy and is tough to gather a group of 5+ people. A junk lounge in theory should have more comfortable seats but you would have to walk to it and find it. Staying at the gate, you can lounge around till boarding time. Both are losing options but it's always good to check out a lounge you haven't been to, even if reviews are bad. IASS lounge offers tea, coffee, soda and juice. You cannot eat while you're there but they do have WiFi. There is a decent amount of seats and you could charge your devices if you're near an outlet. It's a very cozy lounge. There is a view of the garden but that's pretty much it for this lounge. They are busy with customers but the staff were pretty friendly. Currently here before my flight that leaves in about an hour and a half. Figured I'd stop by since I have the priority pass with Amex, but it's pretty disappointing as far as amenities go. Was sad to see that the Sakura lounge /admirals club was taken off the list for Amex platinum. Service is great, the workers are attentive, friendly and polite. There's a few canned drinks in a mini fridge and other juices in pitchers. Pretty disappointed there were no water bottles (as that was what I had come for)... and coffee on the side as well. No alcoholic beverages if that's what you're looking for, and no outside food is allowed. As far as the space and seating, it's pretty limited and cramped if you come at a busy departure time. There is WiFi available with a password provided on the side tables. Standard outlets available (no USB so bring your plugs). Overall, the two starts were for the AC as I was sweating after security and I also wanted to give my phone a charge. The most bare minimum lounge I have ever been to! Once you clear security in Terminal 2, head downstairs to the ground level. You'll immediately see an outdoor garden. The IASS Hawaii Lounge is by the Garden Court. Guests are immediately greeted by staff saying "no food available and no outside food allowed." If you're okay with that then they will start scanning you in. The lounge itself is pretty small and has very little amenities - a few beverage options, wifi and some seating. If you want a place to get away from the gate crowds then the lounge is a good escape short term. This is the only lounge I've been to that has a posted sign saying you are not allowed to bring any of their drinks outside. They're all non-alcohol! read more

I have a Priority Pass Airport Lounge Membership. The only lounge at the HNL that accepts Priority Pass is the IASS Hawaii Lounge in the Garden Court area of the airport. The amenities are pretty basic. There is some seating, and a small fridge with tea and juice but no food. The staff was pretty nice and let me take my drink to go though I think that was not technically allowed. People were actually outside the lounge, sitting on concrete, because there were no seats inside. . If you want to use the restroom, you have to go outside the lounge, and hope that somebody doesn't take your chair when you were gone. Also, there are no USB ports to charge your gear. A little tricky to find but, If you're looking for a quiet air conditioned spot to just chill, this is it. This is not you typical airport lounge, there are only small snacks, coffee, water, and juice available. Plus you can't bring in outside food. It's perfect if you just want to pop in for some coffee and get some work done on your laptop or take a quick nap. Staff was very kind and enforces their rules pretty well. There is a beautiful outdoor garden to walk around just outside if you don't want to be inside anymore, or if you have energetic kids. Staff are friendly. There are no postings of flight status. No announcements. So be sure you are on top of knowing when to head out for your flight. Pick a window facing the garden seat. This is a simpler lounge in the Honolulu International Airport, and if you are a Priority Pass member you can see the details on the app - they only have beverages. The ladies at the front desk are also good about letting you know up front, as well as no outside food and no speaking on cell phones (which is a good thing). The lounge itself is decently sized with nice Hawaiian print chairs, however it can get very crowded. I've come here twice, once when it was super crowded, almost stuffy and another time where there were only about 4 people there (very enjoyable and a nice reprieve from the gate seating and strong AC). Although they have good drinks, especially the guava juice, it would be nice if they could add some snacks or other food like other lounges I have been to. It is also a little difficult to find the first time. You basically have to follow signs for the Cultural Garden and it is downstairs.
