I'd been meaning to come here for years but for some reason just never made it over. Well, when I…read morehappened to be in the area for work I made a point to stop by and finally check it out. What a cute shop! Everything in there looked amazing honestly, a great selection of fancy pastries and croissants / normal cafe fair. I love that little Cheesecake Rabbit and I've had it before and it's particularly lovely. But this time I went for a buncha different stuff, like chestnut, mango and lychee-apricot pastries, plus a jasmine passionfruit cream croissant. ALL of it was AMAZING omg and the attention to detail! Everything is edible, everything is beautiful. The flower slightly fell off of one while the employee was putting it in the box and she insisted on giving me a new one -- nice! I appreciate that, everything costs enough it should feel special. But it's also so delicious that I don't care what it costs. I'll be back!

I had previously saw that they do afternoon tea sets but looking at the environment, I'm not sure if it's really giving that type of vibe. It's more of a casual cafe vibe to me. I got the almond croissant, pistachio, and the raspberry cream cheese one shaped into a bow. I also ended up consuming these the next day instead of fresh. My favorite was the pistachio cream croissant. I ate it cold from the fridge and the pistachio cream was so good. Not too sweet, subtle pistachio flavor, not very strong at all. It was really good tasting that I couldn't stop after one bite. The raspberry cream one was not bad but nothing too amazing. I did also consume this one cold from the fridge, I think it might've been better fresh. I do enjoy the raspberry jam bits and the cream cheese wasn't too sweet. The almond croissant was my least favorite, it was just ok. I had better almond croissants before. I did bake this one before consuming. Overall: I think the croissants were huge and fairly priced for their size.

I got the cube cakes here, and despite being very distinct flavor profiles, they were all delicious. My friends and I's favorites were earl grey with yuzu glaze and the lemon olive oil with strawberry glaze. They also had vegan options which tasted just as good (and as moist) as the non-vegan. Like I wouldn't have been able to tell by tasting it. I also have had cakes from here (various friends' parties), which is how I first heard about it. My favorite cake is the Blueberry Earl Grey cake. The earl grey flavored pastries here are amazing. Such a great distinct flavor that is not too heavy and pairs well with the fruitiness of the blueberry. I also tried their strawberry shortcake matcha latte. Very very sweet, but a great pick-me-up (which is actually unlike their pastries which I'd consider to be "not too sweet" = perfect sweetness level for the Asian palate). The staff was very pleasant, and they put my pastries in different bags to note which ones to refrigerate and which are okay at room temperature.

However, I find that a lot of the restaurants in LIC is on the more expensive side, so maybe this is the average cost there. Luckily, all that money wasn't for nothing. It was my first time having a naked cake, and I thought I wouldn't like it that much since I'm all about that frosting/ whipped cream. But it was perfect. The two layers of sponge cake sandwiches a thicccc layer of frosting, so it wasn't too dry. The pandan flavor came through and wasn't too sweet. Though, I do think I could get just as tasty or even tastier cakes for a lower cost. Love that it comes with complimentary candles!
