When we got there, we tapped the bell and a lady came out and asked what service we needed. We told her my daughter needed eyebrow threading before her senior pictures. She sat my daughter down and asked what look she wanted. We basically just said to clean them up and shape them to fit her face naturally. My daughter was nervous since she thought threading might hurt or that she could get nicked, but she said it actually wasn't very painful at all and there were no nicks! Definitely way faster and better than plucking. Her brows came out really nice and natural. We'll definitely be back for her next threading appointment. I visited them for the first time recently…read more When I first came in, they gave me an iPad to sign a waiver, which clearly requires their staff to walk you through the procedure you're about to get, how it works, and what the risks are. However, they simply left me with the iPad and walked away. Another issue I had with the waiver is that they don't let you submit it, which would've locked everything in and prevented further editing. Further, I emphasized I didn't have experience with the service and wanted a consultation. However, the person servicing me did not offer to show me examples on one of the two services I scheduled for. She showed me the lash examples and said we'd wait to discuss the brows later. My assumption was that we'd take a break after the lashes are done and then presume to design the brows together. However, that was not the case exactly. While my eyes were forced shut for the lashes, she started to work on my brows. I wasn't given sufficient time to discuss what I wanted with my brows and was rushed into a design without any examples shown to me. She cut my brows for a clean look without consent, and I wish we'd had kept a more natural look. Lastly, a couple of minor things. They took my after photo without asking for consent explicitly. They also failed to offer me the welcome drink that they requested me to sign up for when scheduling the appointment. It's not a big deal, but when they offer it to the next walk-in customer after you, it didn't make me feel cared for. I spent almost $300 total. Not a satisfying first-time experience. Not sure if I'd come back.
