Pretty good shaved ice cream place overall. Had the mango pomelo and it was delicious! The texture could have been smoother compared to other similar places I've been to, but good for a hot day!

I thought this was its own store because I couldn't find it. It's with the bubblecup tea zone though. The ube shave ice was so good! Thought it'd have toppings on it but it cost extra. Service was good though. Will be back when I crave it again

After an afternoon on the water in forest park this was the perfect treat to cool down. We got the mango shaved ice with cherry popping boba, a strawberry slush with peach boba and a green apple slush with mango boba. Everything was absolutely delicious!! Recommend to try something new and fun!

I came back to try their matcha shaved ice (dairy). It came with red bean but I asked to change to mochi topping. It was really good. I didn't realize we didn't have to get the same filling for the wheel cake in one order, so I got 1 custard and 1 red bean this time. I liked the custard more because it wasn't too sweet, and my friend liked both of them.

Sweet and delicious treat for a hot day!…read more After leaving a nearby establishment, my husband and I decided to venture into Jeni's. This was a perfect ending to our date night. Upon entering, we were greeted by the workers and my nose became filled with the sweet smells of waffle cones, and ice cream. They have so many different flavors to choose from. If you are undecided, ask for a sample before deciding which flavour suites you. Prices are reasonable, and there is plenty of seating inside to sit, or take a stroll through the neighbourhood and enjoy! I opted to get a waffle bowl with gooey butter cake and brown butter almond brittle. Both ice creams were delicious. The gooey butter cake had pieces of gooey butter cake, and the brown butter almond brittle had almond brittle pieces in it. It was sweet, yet salty, and savoury. The waffle bowl was crunchy, and sweet. I will definitely be back to try new flavours!

You can taste the real cream and fresh ingredients. We love all the cake ones because they have actual cake pieces inside! The little waffle piece is delicious too. It's great to read their ice cream origin story on their napkins. This location is also a nice and heavenly smelling space, bustling in a good way especially at night. We always make a stop at Jeni's whenever we are in central west end, or even when we're not.

It definitely did not disappoint. It was packed and filled to the brim, super generous portion and honestly a bit over the top but in the best way. The combination worked really well. The strawberry cheesecake added a nice creamy, slightly tangy balance, while the gooey butter cake brought that rich, sweet St Louis style indulgence. A really satisfying mix of flavours and textures throughout. One other thing I really appreciated was that they provided lactase which is such a thoughtful touch to make it easier for people who are lactose sensitive to still enjoy everything. It got pretty busy when I stopped by which says a lot about how popular it is. But there is plenty of space around for you to sit and enjoy the cold treat. Worth a stop if you're craving something sweet! Would definitely try just their ice cream next time.

It definitely lives up to the hype in terms of popularity--the place was packed even at 10:30 PM, but the line moved quickly thanks to their efficient service. The concept is simple: the custard starts with a vanilla base, and you can customize it with a variety of toppings. They also offer a few other flavor options, so there's plenty to choose from. We tried a couple of different custards, and while they were good, I honestly didn't find them as exceptional as I expected given all the buzz. The flavors were enjoyable, but I felt they were a bit overpriced for what you get compared to other frozen dessert shops. One thing that surprised me was how quickly the custard started to melt, even before I had eaten much of it. Overall, it's worth trying if you're visiting St. Louis since it's such an iconic local spot, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype. It may be a beloved hometown favorite, but I'm not sure it's a must-visit destination for everyone.

This is an amazing ice cream shop that uses nitrogen and makes your ice cream while you wait. It's quite a fascinating process to watch, and it leaves your ice cream with the most incredibly smooth texture. They have all the regular flavors, then they have alcohol infused flavors, and seasonal flavors as well. I chose the seasonal blackberry crumble, which is served with a cinnamon ice cream base. I think they use Vietnamese cinnamon because the flavor was amazingly intense. While their ice cream is priced higher than the average place, it is of higher quality, a larger portion, and premium ingredients are featured. It's well worth it. It's definitely in my top three favorite ice cream shops. There's a few scattered tables inside, but quite a few more on the patio outside. The staff was working so hard and I can't imagine how sore their wrists must be at the end of the night. Everyone was great.

Flavor and Savor Clementine's is not just an ice cream shop,…read moreit's a happy place. They know how to build a space for eating ice cream, and they've thought about every inch of it. Colorful wallpaper wraps the room and at first glance reads as charmingly vintage, until you look closer and realize: it's ice cream wallpaper. Of course it is. The whole place rewards a second look. The chalkboard menu lays out the full lineup, including their signature alcohol-infused flavors (naughty) right alongside the family-friendly options (nice). It's busy in there, and on this particular night, you could tell at least one staff member was running on fumes and ready to move the line along. That's fair. But the broader vibe is staff who meet you where you are, offer samples, and let you take your time deciding. I knew what I wanted: salted caramel, cookies and cream, and Midnight Pleasures (their dark chocolate). Both delivered. We came here with friends after a great Vietnamese dinner up the street, and Clementine's is the perfect cap to a night out in the Central West End. This particular location is roomy enough to handle a group of six or more comfortably, which is genuinely rare for Clementine locations. Plenty of seating, plenty of space to settle in. Here's what sets Clementine's apart from the field: the flavors are approachable without being too hipster. There's a faithfulness to their approach without any pretension. Some novelty ice cream shops are all about "look at this weird thing we made" ...Clementine's is about thought. They've put real care into each flavor and they let you be the decider. That's a meaningful difference. 4.7 of 5 out of stars, easy. Stay a while. Give the staff a break and it's a solid 5 out of 5. If Clementine's were a character, it would be Mary Poppins. Practically perfect, a little magical, sweet without being saccharine. She doesn't move into your neighborhood, she shows up for an evening and makes it feel like an event. The wallpaper, the chalkboard, the boozy flavors next to the kid flavors, all of it is a spoonful of sugar with real craft behind it. You don't need her every day. You need her for the magical night. You can also grab pints to take home, which is dangerous if you live nearby. (Could you go every day? Yes. Twice a day if your metabolism can handle it? Also yes.) But this is the kind of place that's worth saving as a destination, the kind of stop you build into a magical night, share with a friend, and remember.
