I have been a steadfast customer of The Gelateria for years and years. They have amazing gelato. The drinks are great. The service is always wonderful. They also have space to relax, including a cute patio. The Gelateria is a must visit!

If you park and walk along Grand there are so many great spots. First time visit to the Gelateria and it won't be the last. We looked around at the space and ventured outside, it is so pretty with the foliage and the fountains. A great space to relax with coffee or a sweet treat! Back inside, Hope helped us. Although we didn't get gelato she encouraged us to try a couple flavors that we had questions about. Hope was super friendly and answered questions with a great attitude. One of those employees that makes a great asset for customers. I asked about a coffee drink that I've had elsewhere and Hope said they could make it. It was really good! Can't wait to return and try food and have ice cream while relaxing on the patio.

Stopped in at 6:30 pm on a Saturday to co-work and grab a Kombucha (Pineapple + Palo Santo - Confluence) and a slice of their Detroit style Pepperoni Pizza! We were welcomed in by the Gelateria crew and since we were co-working they directed us to their upstairs area with tables and multiple rooms to co-work in. Loved the designated co-working spaces and despite it being a Saturday night it was relatively quiet. I would definately be back to try more of their Pizza slices or their Focaccia sandwiches. Their drinks + food menu looks incredible.

I love this spot! I came here after a meeting to grab a coffee and do some work. The front of the building looks like a European Cafe which I absolutely love. The interior has a classic feel with the aesthetic and is a bit darker with lighting- made me feel like a library vibe a bit. The gelato is right in front of you when you walk in which is a great thing to be greeted by. I ordered and iced latte with oat milk and cinnamon. I connected to Wi-Fi in the meantime to get some work done. I was tempted to get one of the chocolate chip cookies, but held back since I wasn't in a sweets kinda mood. They looked incredible and we're huge. Coffee was good and had a great ratio of cinnamon. I sat outside at the storefront at their small tables and got some work done. I'd def stop here again!

Wasn't sure what to expect from a gelataria, but I wasn't disappointed. So many options, Berry, Salted Caramel, London Fog, cotton candy. The options are endless. Also- go ahead & try all the flavors! They don't even mind! The guy behind the corner was happy to let me try them all! Dark is the vibe in there. But gelato isn't the only thing they serve up. You can find small bites, coffee & pastries! Try it out on South Grand!

The last stop on my adventures on South Grand led me here. What a perfect way to end a delightful afternoon. The cafe offers food, pastries, and gelato. The selection is fantastic. There is definitely something for everyone. I went with the lemon basil on my visit. Wow!! Bright and refreshing. The gelato cone in three sizes. I found the medium size to be the perfect size for a sweet treat. The counter staff were friendly and worked quickly to get treats into the hands of customers. I grabbed a seat in the window nook and just enjoyed myself.

Enjoyable place to visit. Upon entering there is a glass encased counter with many scrumptious lookin gelatos. Further down they have a selection of mouth watering pastries. My son ordered espresso, which he said was excellent. I got a small pistachio hand a scoop of chocolate gelato, On this beautiful day, we moved to their enclosed garden and courtyard. A very pleasant place to enjoy company while savoring the delicate flavors of gelato.

I haven't been back here for a long time. There was a long line when I walked in but it moved quickly. It was awesome that they had Oat gelato. They ran out of Oat Stracciatella so I got the Oat strawberry instead. It was delicious. I used to like the tiramisu here and it was exactly as good as how I remembered. The raspberry chocolate was very good too. They also have food and coffee here. Such a great spot for desserts/ coffee date.

I absolutely adore this spot! I got the iced oat latte with hazelnut and a half focaccia sandwich. Everything tastes fresh and delicious! I want to go back for the gelato. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It has a modern look to it. The baristas are also very kind and helpful! What a cool coffee spot to visit!

TLDR: Cuuuuute cute cute little shop for light bites, coffee, and gelato!! I'm a gelato & ice cream all-year-round kinda person; it's never too cold for an ice cream and it's never too hot for ramen! So naturally, I came here on a 26F November morning and ordered some coffee, a breakfast sandwich, and a little gelato for dessert. Gotta say, the breakfast sandwich was delightful! The egg and cheese were so light and fluffy, and there was a nice savory sauce that made the sandwich a little special. The drip coffee was solid. The chai gelato was a little icy in texture but the subtle sweetness really brought out the chai flavor and was absolutely lovely. The staff really makes this neighborhood shop a gem. The two ladies behind the counter were friendly and efficient, and had some helpful insight when it came to "what's the best gelato here?" Needless to say, I will be back! :)

The sweet I've cream smell hits you as soon as you enter. This is a cute little gelato shop with some exciting flavors. The gelato is smooth and has a nice thick consistency. The spicy chocolate one was different and delicious. There were a few sweet treats as well. A good place to visit for fun flavors and good service. There's street parking available all around. Recommended.

A study spot that is open late, say no more fam. Their iced brown sugar latte was super great and they have so much seating to enjoy your gelato and coffee. If you want to be cozy, there is a nook with a couple tables on the bottom level, there is seating upstairs for a more quiet atmosphere, and then there's a patio outside for those nice summer days and nights. I definitely recommend coming here! I've had gelato from here before and it is so yummy! Great location around a lot of other good spots too!

Woah! Try the blackberry mocha and thank me later. It tastes like one of those fancy European chocolates (with real chocolate). Perfect for one of those "Spring" days like today when it snaps back 30 degrees colder for no reason. The barista was so sweet too, and it wasn't super crowded inside early morning so I'll prob be back to work remote.

They said this whole section was vegan! :D Sorbets and oatmilk options!

Since this place is such a staple, we figured we had to give it a try. The place was absolutely packed, which clearly shows it's a local favorite. Even with how busy they were, our pickup order was ready on time -- actually before the scheduled pickup since I arrived about five minutes early. The atmosphere definitely had that classic local sandwich shack vibe and seemed like it would make a great casual lunch spot for almost any occasion. Unfortunately, the food itself just didn't live up to the reputation for us. We ordered the hot salami sandwiches, which they're known for, but they were extremely greasy and the only flavors that really stood out were mustard and grease. We expected a lot more flavor and balance considering it's their specialty item. We also placed a large luncheon order of 10 sandwiches. Everyone was satisfied overall and the food was decent enough, but nothing really stood out or made us excited to come back. We personally prefer Adriana's for both flavor and overall quality. One of the biggest disappointments was that none of the sandwiches had cheese on them, even though we paid an extra $2 per sandwich for the garlic cheese bread upgrade. That was frustrating considering the additional charge. Honestly, I'm guessing we may have just caught them on an off day because it's obvious this spot has a loyal following. We still appreciate supporting local STL businesses and can understand why so many people love it -- it just wasn't quite the experience we were expecting.

Why did I think I could make a sandwich at home like a fool? This place is a glorious tribute to what a sandwich should be--stacked, saucy, unapologetically messy, and made with love (and probably a little witchcraft). The bread alone deserves its own standing ovation. The vibe? Retro-diner-meets-your-cool-aunt's-kitchen. The kind of spot where you half expect someone to slide into the booth next to you and spill small-town secrets over a pickle spear. Elaine's isn't just a sandwich shop. It's a portal to happiness, tucked between antique stores and dreams. Go hungry, leave full, and don't wear white--these sandwiches come with personality and sauce.

At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends
