    Taro and Classic Milk Tea
    Angelica C.

Cue the "ice ice baby" song by Vanilla Ice! I love their name Ice Ice Boba. This was the perfect sweet stop to make after a filling lunch at Post market. I got the classic milk tea with boba and my son got the taro milk tea. It was perfect. I got 50% sweetness and it was just right. The tapioca balls were chefs kiss worthy, I loved the hint of honey. Customer service was great, and they were super quick!

Comical name aside, it's safe to say that Ice Ice Boba is more about utility than it is about putting out award winning milk tea. It is a necessary evil in a place like POST Market, which has tried its best to be everything to everyone. For Downtown, it is a viable option and a particularly vital one especially during the hotter months of the year. Offering both a 16 oz and 24 oz size, the drinks also skew a bit sweet while feeling somewhat overpriced since it has hit the $8 range. The milk teas feel very average, as does the salted cheese foam coffee. I have enjoyed their bro5od teas, particularly the oolong with less sugar. The actual boba pearls are the same standard ones that everyone else uses, but hats off to their chunky smoothies especially the taro ube. Staff does just enough to get it done but have made the occasional sloppy drink. Not always the warmest, but certainly far from the coldest customer service. This in many ways feels like more of a POST Market problem, rather than the stall itself. Despite the fact that I've told myself, I wouldn't frequent this place much, I end up eating my words (and subsequent boba) coming back almost all the time.

A must! I never leave Post without a cup of Strawberry Fluff with Jelly! It's so refreshing and smooth & the bits of jelly at the bottom make it extra yummy! It's perfect for a hot day. I never have to wait long for my drink, the service is always good. It's in a busy part of Post & the tables in the front make the area pretty crammed. I typically sit on the barstools on the side or just find another place to sit.

Located inside the post. It's super convenient and located next to all the other restaurants. It's not the best vocab I've had, but they did have a lot of variety. I dong know many other places with shaved ice also as a dessert option! Had the post seating area and also the upstairs rooftop, which is beautiful. Service was fast and there wasn't a line when I was there.

Awful matcha Strawberry, it tasted like strawberry milk. Do not recommend it at all. Service was ok

Very disappointing experience. Went with family and purchased multiple drinks. One was made incorrectly so I went back to try to get it remade correctly. We tried to explain we didn't know it came with yellow jelly and we didn't want that in the drink due to the texture. It was also not included in the menu description of the dirty boba drink. Cashier which was a young lady who was short, blondish hair, with dramatic eyeliner. Was very rude and disrespectful when I asked if the drink could be remade and the drink was snatched from me and she kept talking over me in a very condescending tone when I tried to explain the mixup. We attempted to talk to the manager to let him know this behavior was unacceptable and the manager laughed off the issue.

My first time at the Post! Celebrated with an Uber Boba. The staff was so friendly and kind in helping with my dietary restrictions and giving a great recommendation. The flavors were great but the texture of some of the bobas were a bit too soft for my liking. It was fun having a drink in that vibrant environment :)

I love boba and this place didn't disappoint. I got the Ube Boba Latte. I loved that it was like a brown sugar boba with ube added. It gave it a bit more depth than just ube which I've had elsewhere.

Great customer service and huge variety of flavored teas and snacks! Located in the bustling food court of the POST.

Ordered a ube boba latte and it was decent but nothing completely out of this world fantastic which if you're looking for a quick boba fix I think is the spot. Tapiocas were warm which meant they were cooked really loved that. Service was quick and no issues. Ambiance and location is def a big draw to come, really cool location with tons of little stalls all spread over the place!

First time visiting here! I had a regular cup of taro milk tea with 50% sweetness and it was really good! I like the flavor and sweetness! They gave me the cup instantly and great service! I'll come back and other flavors in the future if I'm around here! Cheers

I went to post Houston tonight and wanted to try this place! It was good but the price was pretty steep at eight dollars for a drink. I have had better Boba tea and the price was more like 5 to 6 dollars. I also felt like my drink was extremely sweet, even though I asked for 50% less sugar, even though it was still good, this is not my favorite Boba tea place

So glad to hear that one recently opened up in Houston. Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat. This has officially won the spot for my favorite boba place.

Maybe I'll come back to sample the teas on weekends.

Parking situation is subpar in their large parking lot, one of the downsides of this plaza. It's always a pain parking to visit any restaurants in between Yale and Heights. Anyways, the interior is fairly clean and modern, the menu is small and concise and the staff of two worked hard to get drinks made quickly. I enjoyed my matcha brown sugar drink (with boba and matcha pudding). The boba had really nice texture and the matcha was also fairly heavy. I got oat milk with mine, which is nice that they're not using whole milk or milk powder. Most of the drinks are in the $6-7 range, which again is fairly standard for the nicer boba spots. It's a nice boba tea option for the Heights!

I got the brown sugar boba creme burlee milk, which was pretty tasty, it comes with boba and creme brulee, which is a nice custard. Big fan of the boba, just the right level of chewiness. Bonus is the option of oat and soy milk in addition to organic milk. I can attest to them handwhisking the matcha, and they measure out the proportions to get it right each time. Definitely worth giving them a shot and supporting local, plus for the next 1-2 months they're doing 50% off (physical coupon needed for December, just pick one up!)

You'd expect the mango slush to be typical, but it has a nice underlying jasmine tea flavor with small bits of diced fresh mango, sago, and (grapefruit? bits). The texture is great and portions are large! One thing: I wish it had more of the textural mix-ins. I also tried the jasmine milk tea as a baseline. It's fragrant and yummy. However, I most likely wouldn't get it again because it's not too overly special. It's good but for $8+ I'd rather order their other menu items. Service at first was quite slow, but now it's not too bad. They only have two ordering POS (the kiosk and one person), so the line is mainly to order. I see online orders are popular too, so you could order online to skip the wait. It's a cute space with seating, wifi, and restrooms. Good for hanging out, def not a place to do work since it's quite busy and loud. I'd come back to try other drinks!

I must say I was a little disappointed in my bubble tea I ordered from Ting Tea…read more I asked about the Yumi Bobo tea and was told it was taro tea with taro paste but it was not taro flavored tea. It tasted floral like Jazmine or something but definitely not taro. I could taste the taro paste but there was very little of it and very few tapioca balls. Like maybe 10 if I had to guess lol. This drink was not worth $7 as it was mostly milk. I understand the "fresh milk" drinks are mostly milk but this just didn't have the flavor that I was thinking it would have since there was very little tea, taro paste and tapioca balls. I'm definitely willing to try again because what I did taste of the floral tea was pretty good and they have some other interesting drinks I'd like to try. Maybe that one was just off. Nice interior!
