Really tried to give them another try but it was terrible again. Ordered a 15" Philly cheesesteak and the onions were basically raw. Maybe thrown on the grill for like 5 seconds but they were so crunchy and I had a ton of the outer shell in my subs (I say subs because they gave me two small subs to make up for not having a 15" sub roll I guess?). I really tried to enjoy what I could but they hardly put any cheese on them so it was literally just really really dry bread with super dry Philly steak meat. Definitely done trying this place, I'll find a nice local place. The place was clean. The bread was so fresh. The cookies were delish. The people were super friendly. The lunch deal was solid. The sub was really tasty and fresh didn't get that microwave taste... We absolutely love this location. It's conveniently located in the same shopping mall as our church that meets at the Theater every Sunday at 10am. We normally head over as a church group to enjoy lunch. We've had nothing but great service and delicious food every-time we've visited. I normally order the Philly cheesesteak hoagie style. Man this thing is great! When i first moved to swfl i had a hard time finding a good Philly spot. None of the places gave me that quality hoagie style i was used to down south. I've never had a bad time here. Got my order today and on the app they still had the Mac n Cheese (but it's been discontinued). So I went in to pick up my order and they let me know the Mac was gone so they gave me a refund on the Mac and also gave me chips on the house. I used to love Lenny subs but lately it's just been a total disaster. I ordered this from Uber eats they gave me the incorrect bread and no lettuce when I called the store they say they don't have lettuce. They should let their customers know. I also requested everything bread and they gave me regular bread. They always do this. If they don't have certain items they should remove them from Uber eats app or let the customers know too expensive to be paying this kind of money to get your order completely wrong. 3 things about this place: 1. Heard great things about this place and my sister recommends this place so why not give this place a try. The staff was nice and the place was clean; also, the place was bigger than what I expected. 2. #8, Philly cheesesteak was ordered and I just loved the fact that they have an open grill in order for customers to see that they make the sandwiches fresh once they receive the order. 3. My mother used to own a deli shop that had Philly cheesesteak and this place reminded me and tasted exactly like hers which gave me chills. One thing that could have been better was having more cheese. I felt the cheese was not there. The cheese melted all the way so I could barely taste the cheese while eating. Obviously it's not like Geno's and Pat's in Philly and hard to find a good Philly cheesesteak in the south, but this place has a great sandwich. Just finished Cape Coral farmers market on a Saturday and did a yelp search for a steak subs and Lenny seem to be one of the closer ones. Were able to sit outside as we had our dog with us and I went inside to order. Ordered a 12 inch steak sub with extra fried onions and cheese on half of it. They don't have a fryer, so no french fries and have to settle for chips. I saw them start to prepare and asked them if the roll could be put on the flat top to brown it, and the employee said it didn't turn out well that way. Sub was brought to us quickly and it actually tasted quite nice with the steak being especially tender and flavorful. When I arrived I noticed that their special item was the Philly cheese steak but I was going to be sharing and we had already picked the roast beef. I was quickly greeted to take my order that is made fresh each time. I got the sub with the toppings Lenny's way. The bread is very fresh and soft. I found the restaurant on GrubHub. Thought id try them out. Delicious! I had the Steak Philly salad. OMGosh. The arugula lettuce was so fresh and their signature sauce was amazing. I will start this off by I love Lenny's, it is the closest to authentic Philly Cheesesteaks you can get in SWFL. The bread is even good. I liked this place so much I ended up recommending it and ordering it for all my coworkers. We had the food delivered and it was by Uber Eats. We ordered drinks and they came in a drink carrier and upon removing the drinks, I discovered a baby roach. The sandwiches were in a tied shut bag and the Uber driver had the drinks on the seat. I do not know for sure if the roach came from the restaurant or the Uber's car, but I can not eat here unfortunately because of this incident. read more

Clearly my first time there so I needed to put my specs on and check out the board. Since I've been looking for a chicken philly for almost 15 years that matched the delicious one I had in San Ramon, CA so many years ago, I went with that. I ordered it on multi-grain with onions, red and green peppers, and yellow wax/banana peppers. I told them to hold the cheese (I'm on a diet.) It was the 5" at only $5.39 and the extra stuff I asked them to put on was no charge. OMGosh...absolutely fantastic. Loved the place, met the owner, loved him too. Terrible experience the order was taken wrong and luckily corrected before it got made. My wife ordered an Italian sub light, lettuce, tomato, onion, and hot peppers and balsamic vinegar on the side. The sandwich was made wrong no tomato no balsamic vinegar and no peppers. My wife went back to ask about it. They said they were gonna look it up so my wife came back started to eat and so forget about it Then big tall guy walked over said well I see your order here. You never ordered tomato, I said the sub doesn't come with tomatoes? no it doesn't you have to order it and I see the hot peppers and I said never mind. We'll just take it this way and waved my hand. I said it's OK forget about it. He stood there and stared at me and said do wave at me and then stared at me the whole time he walked behind the counter I said do you have a problem, sir he said, yeah, I do. and luckily his manager took him in the back. OK so i've been hearing an ad on the radio for this place for the last couple of months. After reading the mixed reviews of this place on Yelp, I decided to check it out with an open mind and a hungry stomach. The place is nice inside, extremely clean and well lit. The menu board was easy to read and adequately descriptive. They have a nice wide variety of offerings but my first impression was that the prices are pretty high, so it gave me higher expectations for the food and service. I approached the counter and ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which according to the radio ad is what they are known for. The girl behind the counter looked to be having a bad day and seemed more concerned about trying to sell up charge items rather than listening to my order, so I had to repeat myself at least three times (and she still got it wrong). In the end my Philly cheesesteak cost me a little over $10 which again seem pretty pricey but I figured if it was as good as advertised it would be worth it. I got my sub and sat down. The positives were that sandwich itself was hot the cheese was nice n' gooey and the bread was ultra soft seemingly freshly baked. On the negative side the amount of meat was pitiful and the sandwich lacked texture of any kind. I can't say it was any better than what you get at Subway chain for five bucks. I don't know that I will ever return because if I'm going to spend premium money, I would like a premium product in return, and that wasn't the case at Lenny's. read more

I usually hit this place if I'm close by and it's lunch time and feeling for a sub. I've been here a handful of times. Have tried the Philly cheese, the classic and the tuna. They have a 7.5 inch, 10 inch and 15 inch offering. I always get the 10. The cold cuts are fresh cut. The steak was made to order. Their subs are a giant leap up from subway. No comparison really. They aren't the best but certainly not the worst. I just don't know why these sandwich joints put one slice of cheese on their subs. I mean why bother?! I enjoy Lenny's subs, they are great! I just wanted to let you know since you've gone to the styrofoam containers instead of wrapping the hot subs, they are cold by the time we get home.
