I am going to be fair with this review, because we do like Iceberg food and shakes and go to our local Iceberg restaurant often. However, the Fillmore location needs some serious work. The inside needs a thorough power washing from top to bottom. The floors and tile baseboards are filthy. The windows have yesterday's tape on them from holding up last weeks's ADs. It's right across the street from the Maverick so if you are in a semi truck, you can park there and walk across the.. I would love to give it five stars but when you walk in the front door, the cement is quite disgusting. They really need to get somebody over there with a pressure washer and clean. It looks like a lot of people drop their ice cream. We ordered a double burger , sweet potato fries, zucchini strips, and a mini lemon curd shake, and a blueberry shake. The shakes were fantastic., the burger was amazing, the sweet potato fries were good, and my husband thought that the zucchini sticks were awesome. I ordered two Bacon Icebrger's for $7.49 each then she gave me the total and it was a lot higher than should be. I asked why it was so much higher and she said they don't have the burger I ordered on her register so she had to charge be for an Iceburger then add the charge for bacon. By doing this the price was higher than the price of the Bacon Iceburger. They didn't bother to tell me the price difference when I ordered they just hoped I wouldn't pay attention. If negative stars were a thing- this place would have my vote. I honestly don't know if what I'm about to describe is reflective of the chain as a whole or this particular location, BUT. Hubs and I ordered a pastrami burger, onion rings(to share), cheeseburger, Butterfinger shake and a regular drink. Butterfinger was out, ok, NBD- we swapped to Cookies and Cream. Iceberg used to mix the shake so you'd have toppings through out. Today they ran out about halfway through. Onion rings - there were literally four, while they were big(almost too big) they were cooked well. I would have preferred thinner rings and more of them. The 1" size was too big. The pastrami burger was what it should be. But my cheeseburger... the patty covered about two thirds of the bun. Props for fresh pickles and lettuce, otherwise, it was a sad shadow of this chain's glorious past. My personal favorite was the drink machine. Most sodas were out AND no ice(pics included for your viewing pleasure). That's fine- but one would think the staff would have cautioned us when we ordered the drink. Not today. I cannot tell you how much I love this place. I hate living 485 miles away. But I stop here religiously when traveling south on I-15. The town of Gilmore has grown a lot for travelers since I first came here in 2015. Potato burger buns, gooey cheese, crispy lettuce and grilled onions on a burger patty are great. The onion rings are the best I've had coast to coast. I've always had good service here, albeit sometimes I have to wait. All good things are worth the wait. This place is staffed by many younger folks, and it's good to see them joining the workforce. They are always pleasant. This place can be really busy, but not this time. There's often many children, and the associated noise. Totally fine with me. There's oldies playing on the radio. I usually have mine. They all love it as well. The shakes here are huge. We all got individual ones the first time... now we get one for the whole fam. We haven't finished one yet. I can't wait to return. read more

One of the worst food experiences I have ever had. The only reason they got a star at all was the milk shake. It was delicious and as advertised. The burger was tasteless and hard to find between lettuce, tomato, and bun. The hot dog was over cooked and greasy.(dripping grease) The hand breaded onion rings were the worst part. It was a warm TM afternoon so the idea of giant thick shakes was perfect. Great assortment of flavors. We got minis and they were still bigger than a typical restaurant shake. I got the caramel praline - lots of nuts and not too sweet. My husband ordered pistachio with extra pistachio - lots of nuts but a little too sweet. Service was great. Honestly this is not a great review so let's start with the positives. The shakes were delicious from the top to half way down, the staff was kind, and the restrooms were clean. Now for the negatives because they need to be fixed... The workers have no idea what's going on, they missed 3 people's orders when I was there, they messed up two of ours, and they hadn't restocked anything for hours, lids, straws, sauces, all out, and the tables hadn't been cleaned either. Multiple people asked to speak with a manager, which I never do personally but I did ask the girls why everything was such a disaster and they said they were short staffed. There were flies ALL OVER this place live and dead ones. I think this place needs new management and more staff, because wow it was a bit of a mess. read more

Let's start with the good things first. The staff was wearing masks. Social distancing in the order line was marked out. Food can put in a timely manner. The shakes, while not as thick as I remember, are still delicious and a mini size is a lot of ice cream. The onion rings are fantastic. Not the not-so-good. The burger patty was so thin that it was just crispy (not juicy) and crunched every time I bit into it. Even my fellow diners commented on this. The tables weren't sanitized in a timely manner and it was difficult out to see what tables were available. Half of the restaurant was partitioned off with a sign saying it was closed for sanitizing. That meant there was no social distancing with the tables. People were crowded in. It was very difficult to hear numbers called with the music playing, the ice machine constantly working, and I'm sure the masks muffled the stAff voices as they called out numbers. You'll just need to keep an eye on the front counter for your food. The restroom smelled clean, but the sink was so scratched it was hard to tell how clean. Come for the shakes and onion rings, avoid the burgers unless you are very hungry. read more

I have visited other Iceberg locations and am a huge fan of their shakes. So when I was making a road trip between Salt Lake City and St. George, I planned my lunch stop in Fillmore to visit this location. As I pulled in to the parking lot, my grumbling stomach loudly roared and begged to be fed. There were not a lot of people in the restaurant, but the couple of folks that were there appeared to be agitated. One of them called back to the kitchen (there was nobody at the front when I walked in) and asked if her food would be ready soon. That's not a good sign. I ordered a hamburger with ketchup only and tater tots. It took a good 15 minutes and I was delivered a cheeseburger. (I HATE cheese with such a fiery passion that I won't eat it.) But by the time I got my food, there was a long line of customers and there was no way I was going to try to get a new order. So I ate the tots and tossed the burger. Bummer-I really wanted to have a hamburger. The reviews are pretty accurate-the restaurant is either grossly understaffed or the kids that are running it could use a little more training. Either way, it's a rough experience that does not live up to the Iceberg name. read more

I want to write an honest review. I don't want to talk about COVID, or if the workers were wearing masks or if the mask covered their nose or not, or how clean the bathroom is. If you want a super clean bathroom go to the Maverik across the street. And to be quite frank you can find dirty bathrooms and "issues" in general anywhere you go. I want to write a real review about the food and the customer service here. A lot of people say that this place doesn't have enough workers or that they waited a long time but have you looked around? This is a very small town in the boonies. It's nice to just sit down and relax and take a little break and spend time with family before heading the rest of the way to St. George or Salt Lake City. I just want to say that the shakes were amazing, the burgers tasted great and the fries were salted just right. Heading from Salt Lake to St. George I think we should all be grateful that there is a family owned drive-in right off the freeway so we can grab a bite to eat. The lady at the window was super friendly and I felt like she really cared about us. She just seemed happy.
