The official 'customer service **Icelandair** (toll-free) number is **1 (888)(305)(4803) or +1~888~669~0167** for additional assistance. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for passengers needing help with reservations, flight changes, cancellations, rebooking, baggage inquiries, refunds, and other travel-related concerns. The customer service team assists travelers with managing existing bookings, updating itineraries, exploring alternative travel options, and addressing questions throughout the travel process. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. Unfortunately, this American Airlines experience fell short of expectations. I paid an extra **$140** for seats that appeared to offer a better arrangement during the booking process. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we realized the seating layout differed from what had been displayed at purchase. Paying additional fees only to encounter an uncomfortable seating situation was disappointing. My assigned seat, **6K**, lacked adequate cushioning, making the journey more uncomfortable than expected. I relied on extra pillows and blankets for lower back support throughout much of the flight. On longer trips, seat comfort can make a significant difference in the overall passenger experience. The customer service process proved equally frustrating. I first contacted an agent in Detroit seeking clarification regarding my flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Chicago, where I was informed they could not assist and was given yet another number to call. That representative ultimately redirected me back to the original Detroit contact. Only after several calls and repeated explanations did an agent finally provide the information I had requested from the start. After boarding, I found the aircraft itself attractive and well-maintained, and most of the flight attendants appeared hardworking and professional despite managing a busy cabin. However, the overall environment deteriorated as the flight progressed. A number of passengers were noisy and inconsiderate, and the lavatories became increasingly untidy within a few hours, with wet floors and sinks requiring attention. Although the cabin crew deserved recognition for their efforts and professionalism, the inconsistent customer service, uncomfortable seating experience, and declining cleanliness ultimately overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would strongly compare alternatives before booking American Airlines for a similar trip in the Future. Time to get some shut eye on this red eye. Looking forward to this adventure!!

Return flight to Boston was newer plane than the one I took to get across the pond, but still has no power plugs, old usb plug in so bring adapters and had old school earphone jack for listening to movies. Flight crew was great very smooth flight. As mentioned in previous review, just be mindful of what you are purchasing and services provided on these flights and it is not as horrendous as some make it. Sure there are hiccups and not invalidating those experiences, but overall with a little planning this was a good direct flight to Iceland from my point of view flying Economy Standard and I didn't use my check in bag as I was able to keep it between my backpack and small carry on for this trip. Pack your snacks or purchase after security and have some adapters to ensure you can use the services provided and enjoy some great experiences in Iceland!!

Review: Disgraceful First Experience with Icelandair at Newark Our first Icelandair flight was a nightmare before boarding. A check-in glitch blocked my father, despite identical tickets and prior confirmations from both airlines. Icelandair staff at Newark were unhelpful, dismissive, and refused to fix their system's error--forcing him to pay \$100 for a bag that was supposed to be free. No accountability, no support, just indifference. This wasn't a minor hiccup--it was neglect. Icelandair turned an exciting trip into a stressful mess. For a customer-facing airline, this level of service is unacceptable. Do better.

After yearssssssssssss of being afraid to take a Spirit Flight, I finally did it. When I say, all…read moreof the horror stories I have heard and seen on social media were NOT my experience. The Spirit Airlines website was super easy to navigate. I got on, created my account, booked my flights, and was all set within a matter of minutes. The confirmation provided all the details for my flight and my gmail was able to pull the details and add it to my calendar. 24 hours before my flight, the check-in reminder came and the checking process was super easy. I didn't have any changes or additions so I was checked in within a minute. Arriving at the gate was vibrant as the Spirit Airlines yellow set the tone for the area. The lines were long but the staff was smiling and friendly. As it came time to board, I was a part of Group 5 which is the bulk of flyers. Though the line was about 3 gates long, the Spirit Airlines staff had an efficient process for getting us out the gate area and onto the aircraft. Of course you can't do anything about the people who hold up the line, but the Spirit Airlines gate agents even had a process for them to step to the side. Woo Hoo! Once on board, the plane is standard size, and the seats aren't as tight as I have heard. I'm 6' 3" and though I didn't have ample space, I didn't feel like I was being crushed either. The seats don't have as much cushion as some of the other airlines, however, my butt didn't start to hurt until I was 2.5hrs into my 3hr flight, so I was good. The Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants are unique in style esthetic, however, their service was industry standard and they always appeared with a smile. As you pay for everything on the flight, the process of purchasing is easy and swift. The pilot was professional and ensured we had a smooth flight into the Boston area. He kept us abreast of weather changes, altitude changes, and gave us ample time to prepare for landing. I deplaned without incident and went on about my day. My return flight to Atlanta was the same experience quality. Coming back, I did add a carry-on ($70) and it was easy to add it during my check in process. Once at Logan, the kiosk was unable to scan my boarding pass, however the ticketing attendant put in my confirmation number and I was good to go. I tagged my bag, headed to the counter, dropped it off, and was on my way to security within 3 minutes. Thank you Spirit Airlines for the safe trip and streamlined standard operating procedures. You and the staff are appreciated.

Ground staff in Boston were pretty polite and helpful in my limited interaction with them. Onboard, service was efficient but not exactly warm. The IFE was decent and the legroom was okay. However, the recline from the front was quite substantial, which doesn't give you much room to get out or to maneuver. The infuriating problem was being told my short Düsseldorf to Frankfurt leg was full and I couldn't take on my carry on roller bag. Too big they said - even tho I'd brought it on all other flights. Ok, let them take it and then was charged €110!!! And then onboard there was open bin space. Forget getting hold of customer service. Their phone line says leave a message and we'll get back to you within 30 days. Appalling!

Flew out of Boston on the 737 MAX 9 and it was a lackluster experience. Despite being a new jet,…read moreless than a year old, the seat cushions were already starting to wear out. As Boston is a major United hub, it was interesting to see 80%+ of the plane boarding with Pre-Boarding, Group 1 or 2. The Emergency Exit Row was definitely worth the premium for a 6 hour flight back to the West Coast. Cabin attendants were cordial albeit bizarre in suggesting to close the blinds on a daytime flight. Bistro options are only available via preorder. The Steakhouse burger had an ingredient list maybe with 50+ ingredients?!? The burger itself didn't feature any lettuce or tomatoes, only a warm toasted bun, a ton of cheese, along with a ketchup and mustard packet... Wifi was $8 for the entire flight and worked well. The IFE was able to connect with Bluetooth headsets. Headsets seemed to be complimentary if one were to ask. Towards the end of the flight, there was quite a hard sell on a variety of United credit cards. The push made the United flight feel like an Air Asia flight... Our flight arrived ~45 minutes ahead of schedule.

Let me put this as politely as possible, United Airlines in a word SUCKS! I recently flew to Hawaii…read morewhich as most people know is 5-6 hours to San Francisco then another 4-5 to Hawaii. As a wedding gift, I upgraded my sister and her husband to first class for an additional $5200. We boarded our flight only to find ourselves on a fifty year old plane and discovered that first class on this trip meant nothing more than a slightly bigger seat that did not recline with a TV that did not work. Additionally, the food was awful as was the service. Meanwhile back in economy class, I sat for roughly ten hours with my knees jammed into the derriere of the person in front of me. Also, the seat padding as been diminishing to painful levels as airlines continue to cut costs. The experience was torturous and United should be ashamed of themselves for treating passengers the way they do.

This is just a review for the transcon Boston to LAX Flagship First service on AA's unique A321T…read moretranscon aircraft. This is a unique service offered only on the A321T and offered only from Boston to LAX, JFK to LAX, and JFK to SFO and JFK to SNA. The A321T is uniquely configured with Flagship First, Flagship Business, and economy. The amenities and seating in the premium cabins is much more akin to a widebody aircraft with lie-flat seating offered in first and business and seatback screens throughout the aircraft. Sadly, these aircraft will soon be retired as AA moves toward eliminating Flagship First systemwide. The seating in first is 1-1 which offers a lot of privacy. The seatback screen is large and high definition with a wide selection of movies and other entertainment options. Noise cancelling B&O headsets are also distributed. The meal service in first is enhanced versus what is offered in business including higher end touches on the meal tray like individual salt and pepper shakers and a metal napkin holder. There is also actual champagne in first versus prosecco in business. There is also a soup course in first which is not offered in business. The flight attendant was great and offered an attentive and premium service. Baked on board cookies are also offered prior to arrival. Overall, this was a great transcon flight on AA. Sadly, it's the exception and not the rule as service and amenities on other AA flights leaves a lot to be desired.

We started out with a good flight to our destination, and our return flight was nothing but a nightmare. We were trying to book an earlier flight to get home before midnight, and in doing so the American Airlines system allowed us to book, and charge us for a flight that was already delayed. As we arrived at the airport we then had to check in with guest services, which took a while as NO ONE knew where we were to go, to get the flight changed. Mind you still being charged an additional fee for changing the flight to a flight that was ideally no longer available. Followed by then paying for two bag fees and then finally getting a new flight, with a layover. Once we arrived in our final destination, I was then presented with a text message saying that one of our bags was delayed. Trying to get that bag delivered to our home has been nothing but a complete mess, as nobody actually knows where our bag is and how to get it to us. They're completely incompetent through the phones and the chat system. This is the WORST experience we have ever had with an airline and I am still without my bag after 2 days. With all of the technology and delivery systems these days, this is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. We will never use this Airline again, very unreliable and unprofessional.

It was a long, but easy walk from the terminal I landed in to Terminal C to check-in for this flight. Checking in was a cinch - Just show an ID, let them weigh my carry-on and backpack, give them my weight and then they tagged my baggage and gave me a boarding pass. When boarding, it was an easy walk down the stairs to the tarmac where we walked to the plane and boarded it. The ground crew and pilot and first officer on the plane were helpful, explained the trip to us and we were on our way. The flight was smooth and the landing was nice. Plane is VERY loud though, so definitely wear some ear protection or headphones. I'd definitely fly them again!

Cape Air should be embarrassed by the people they have working the desk. My flight was at 10:29, I…read moregot to the desk at 10:01. That's two minutes past their cutoff, fine, rules are rules, but the way I was treated was disgusting. One agent actually said, "I don't want to but the pilot said yes." The other snapped, "You the guy who just showed up?" and then called me a liar when I told her I had been there twenty minutes earlier. I had photo proof from my watch at the desk at 10:03, and she still doubled down. Here's the kicker: the flight still left on time and landed so early that we deplaned 25 minutes ahead of schedule. So all their nasty attitude, eye-rolling, and name-calling wasn't about the schedule at all, it was just pure unprofessionalism. If Cape Air thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable, it says a lot about how little they value their passengers. Those ladies put the anis in Hyannis. The pilots were wonderful and the landing was impeccable. So bravo to the fellas with the wings!
