I ordered from door dash today and the restaurant confirmed my order for my driver to then call me and tell me they claim they never got it even after I was charged. When I called the restaurant the man that picked up proceeded to yell at me and condescend me as to why I ordered from door dash and not directly from them and claim he never received my order. Then continued to yell and tell me I had to contact door dash in order to handle this situation. So now not only am I starving but I'm out $36 because door dash won't refund my money for days because this is an already confirmed order that has to play out as if it "never arrived". Went here last week. Been here few times. I got the lunch special. Got 3 orders of California rolls and 2 orders of Boston roll. A soup and a salad for just under $20. The California and Boston rolls were good and the dressing for the salad was tasty and the miso soup was on point . Not a bad deal. Food was made pretty quick. Person who answers the phone was a bit impatient didn't really dig that. Good food though deserves 3.5 or so stars .Gonna give 4 though. Feeling generous lol. They don't over glimmer and glammer their rolls for pretentious folk; instead you get the highest of quality, freshest, tastiest sushi. No BS or flashing lights and gimmicks. In my continuing search for a new Chinese takeout I decided to try Ichiban Restaurant. They have both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. I ordered an egg roll, hot and sour soup and Ma Po Tofu. The egg roll was ok. The hot and sour soup ended up being wonton although that's not what I ordered. It wasn't even good wonton. The noodles were very heavy and had little flavor. The fried noodles that came with it were the same ones you can get in any supermarket. The Ma Po tofu had to be the worst I've ever had. If I could give zero stars I would, but the site doesn't allow it. Sorry but terrible Chinese. I cannot attest to the Japanese aspect. Good luck! read more

I hate when other places are overwhelming with the flakes, makes the roll so dry but this place is perfect. The general Tao chicken, sesame chicken and plain chicken meals are delicious as well. Ordered take out from here and it is excellent. The sushi is good quality and fresh! My husband ordered the sushi regular twice and it looked amazing. They give you the good stuff salmon sushi rolls with it instead of tuna rolls. I tried the avocado and salmon salad appetizer and it was superb. A+ for this place read more

This was our go-to Chinese take-out place for years, but something has changed and not for the better. The last few times we ordered from here the food was bland and tasteless. Cold sesame noodles were just cold noodles with a very watery nondescript sauce over it. Fried rice was not fried, maybe just stained with a little soy sauce to make it darker, and it had no egg, no vegetables, and barely a hint of any kind of meat. Last night we ordered three meals, one chicken, one shrimp, one pork. None had any taste or spice to it at all. The shrimp dish had maybe three shrimp in it, the rest was just soft wilted vegetables. The chicken and pork were no better. Maybe there was a change of ownership, maybe a change of kitchen staff, but the result is unappealing food. We won't be going back. read more

This is my favorite sushi place of ALL TIME! I've traveled to almost every state in the U.S and hands down, Itchiban sushi is WHERE IT IS AT! The service for one is the best service I've ever gotten at ANY restaurant. Your glass will never get to half empty because they will come by to refill it before it gets a chance to dwindle. They're constantly checking up to make sure you're good (but not in an overbearing way) and the sushi is fresh and adorable. I love this place so much I probably sound like an infomercial. They also serve delicious Chinese food on top of the Japanese cuisine so you can bring along friends/family even if they don't like sushi. IF YOU GO YOU HAVE TO SAY HELLO TO ANDY. We have been coming to this place for years and never wrote a review. We usually love both the Chinese and Japanese food from here and even after moving outside their delivery area, we still drove there ourselves to eat from there. I'm sorry to say that during this time of the corona virus, the food, particularly the sushi seems stale. I have given it twice that I have ordered since the shut down and both times the sushi rice falls apart when I pick it up with chopsticks. Usually I expect that to happen if I have some left over and am trying to eat it the next day. I also have a sensitive stomach that's gets upset when eating rice that is not fresh. After getting an upset stomach when I first tried to eat the day old rice, usually if I have left over sushi I just eat the fish because of this reason. Well I am sitting here in agony because this rice I had with this order is obviously not fresh. Will not be ordering again for now. Maybe after this whole shut down is lifted they will get more business so they don't have to use rice that maybe was left over from the previous day or whenever. Sushi is great when ALL the components are FRESH. There's no skimping when it comes to producing a tasty meal. read more

The lunch box specials are always a good choice. They've recently updated their tables and got new booths. On this occasion, for dinner, I got the vegetable udon, which wasn't up my alley, but their teriyaki always pleases, as does their gyoza. I'm not big on sushi, but I'm told theirs is top-notch. This place is awful to customers. I placed an order, got it home and noticed it was wrong. No problem, I call and he tells me it wasn't what I ordered. When I went back to get the correct food he yelled at me in front of other customers that I ordered something with shrimp. I didn't, I don't eat shrimp ever. He gave me the correct food but took out the soy sauce and chopsticks. He also did not refund my money. So I paid for California rolls when I ordered avocado cucumber rolls. I've been going her often for over a year but never again. I hope his attitude was worth losing myself, as well as my family and friends as customers because everyone i have told said they won't go there again if this is how you treat a customer. read more

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I've tried the basic General Tso's chicken combination plate from many different local Chinese take out places but none of them compare to Ichiban. The price is only a few cents more than other places, and you get real white chicken. They're large bites and is never overly sweet unlike most versions I've tried from other Chinese takeout restaurants. The fried rice is also delicious, it's not overly salty or oily. The Chinese food may be great but this is definitely not a restaurant to buy sushi from. The sushi will get you sick as it tastes a day old and like grocery store sushi. read more

Now I've actually eaten there and our server was friendly and attentive , We had Miso soup, Kani salad , Spicy Tuna roll, Spicy crab roll,Dragon roll all were very good. This time,however, the food was undercooked, mushy, inedible. I called to complain and was treated horribly. They were exceptionally rude ! We have gotten delivery from here two to three times a month for years. Service has gotten progressively worse and tonight was the last straw. Order was wrong and when I called I got shuffled between three people each getting nastier. Insisted that it was what I ordered. I guess I gave up being a vegetarian for Lent? Replaced the wrong food but demanded more money. If I wanted to just have money refunded for the wrong items I was told I would have to return not only the wrong food but also the California roll that came with the $50 order. Never ever again! I was disappointed when I came here for lunch. They charge extra during the lunch special if you order more than one of the same roll. The rolls were pretty mediocre, being mostly filler. The sushi place on 347, 2 minutes from Ichiban, near the Tropical Smoothie Cafe has better rolls for less money, imo.
