    Crispy Chicken Ramen

Great environment! I tried the Crispy Chicken at Ichido Ramen -- the flavor was nice and the chicken was crispy, but I was hoping for a bit more of it. Overall, it's a good dish that just felt a little light on the chicken portion. I ordered to-go and the service was good.

I'm only speaking from the take out experience. we ordered a Cha siu ramen, chicken ramen and 1 Cha siu donburi. The portions were all adequate, at first, it looked like there wasn't going to be enough broth for our ramen but it ended up being just the right amount. The flavor of the broths were both good, nothing memorable, not overly salty and you could tell it had a good amount of fat content in it. The noodles are what made the ramen, they cooked them very well. They were nice and bouncy. The Cha siu donburi had a nice flavor, mostly just minced pork over rice, nothing too special. I do not recommend ordering the boba here, it was very much water down milk tea that only really tasted like I was drinking milk. Overall, the order was made fast and service was fine. I wouldn't come back unless I was really craving ramen and didn't want to go to MSP for it, most likely would try it in the restaurant.

Our Ramen-loving teenagers are always on the hunt for a new spot for us to check out and having a nearby spot like Ichiddo just 5 minutes from our house was a win - and the experience did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we were enamored with the Japanese-inspired decor and great selection of menu items that had us wanting the whole menu. We started with the short ribs, gyoza, fried chicken, and pork buns while we were waiting for our ramen and donburi. The food and flavor were on point, and even with a rush of 4-5 other tables being seated during lunchtime, the one waitress kept on top of everyone's flow of food coming out. Will definitely return!

We really enjoy the apple Valley location. The food is always very good and fresh. We have tried a number of things and enjoyed them all. The staff is always super friendly and takes great care of us. The restaurant is always very clean and relaxed environment. This is a regular spot for us!

It is what they say it on their website. Bouncy noodles. Yes. Don't expect it to be like Al dente spaghetti. It should have a spring like texture. It was my daughters 2nd time having Ramen. The 1st was in MPLs and she chose this one. She understood the difference between the broths and noodles now. This had more depth and saltiness. Service was good. The jalapeño popper like fish was nice and crunchy. My husband loved their chicken wings. Their ambience was nice and simple. No need for that if you have good Ramen that's presentable. The place did look clean though.

There lunch specials, ramen, wine and apps also. I was a little turned off that the shrimp in my shrimp tempura roll seemed to have some dirt and wasn't thoroughly cleaned. One of the plates he brought to the table also had food stuck on to it. The quality of the spicy tuna on the Minnesota Roll was not as expected, seemed like a well dressed canned and scooped tuna salad, and the crab is clearly imitation crab. Good atmosphere and service, but the food was less than. My friend seemed to enjoy her chicken teriyaki though.

The whole ambience and vibe of the restaurant is really nice. Granted, we were the only people there at the time, but it's still a really cozy and relaxing atmosphere in my opinion. The waitress that helped us was more than kind as well. Very nice, great service. The only thing I wish they would've asked is if we wanted the bill split, they just brought it to both of us. I was with my sister so we had to split it later. We didn't want to inconvenience them so we just paid the full bill. The BBQ pork bun was absolutely amazing. For only $5.50, I would recommend getting it as an appetizer. It's a fairly decent size too so you could split it with at least one other person. Or, you could have the whole thing to yourself!!! I'll probably get one just for me next time. I liked the chicken satay skewers. Those are really good. But, I was expecting more than just two small chicken skewers for the cost. Really good flavor though. Then we got sushi rolls. They were all fantastic. I remember I got the Ooka Roll. It's the most expensive role on the menu, but it's fantastic. I think we also got the 150th roll. Also fantastic. Overall, I really recommend this place if you want some sushi. Just be prepared to pay a lot of money. If you need a cheaper option, there are other sushi places that are a bit cheaper close by. But these guys are very good and I will be back. I would rate 4.5 out of 5 stars, but Yelp only lets me do full stars - so I'm bumping it up to a 5. I'm excited to try their hibachi when we go back, and more sushi.

Some of my favorites are the birria torta and the birria mulita, both of which had not only a good amount of meat but also cheese that were burned enough to give that crispy and the salty flavor. Oh, and having avocado in the torta was really nice. I didn't enjoy the birria ramen as much because the broth was extremely salty so it was only possible for me to eat the noodles. I thought that more noodles would be needed to neutralize the flavor. Overall I would still recommend this place, and it's good to know that they have multiple locations in various areas of the Twin Cities metro, including their Eat Street Crossing store, which has been quite popular!

This store is across from a Walgreens that I enjoy and a Dairy Queen that I had visited for the first time last month. I found this store easily. It's in a plaza with a bunch of other businesses. I backed into a spot and walked in. This store has Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai items. It looks like a tiny store from its exterior, but there is so much to look at when you're inside. The aisles are narrow. If you require a walker or wheelchair, you will have a tough time moving around this store. The fresh produce and fridges containing drinks and more are on the left when you first walk in. You can get baguettes and banh mi sandwiches by the checkout area on the right when you walk through the doors. The ramen, vermicelli, and noodle section is impressive. I stood there in awe of everything that I was looking at. I was also impressed that there was a little section with Chinese ointments and hair dyes. I wish that it was more extensive. However, if you want white flower oil or tiger balm for your ailments and such, you are good getting them here. It was nice seeing packages of banh xeo flour. You can pretty much find everything that you need to make an authentic Vietnamese, Chinese, or Thai meal, from sriracha to cha chien. I saw huge jackfruit by the Pocky. I've never seen both products so close together in a store. You can tell that this store packs so many products in such tiny quarters. The snacks are decent, from coconut-covered peanuts, to shrimp-flavoured chips. I didn't buy anything, but I was curious to check this place out. The store accepts cash and most major credit cards, including Discover. I enjoyed browsing here. I'd return if I need any snacks or feel adventurous to make some banh xeo in my hotel room. (113)
