Absolutely fantastic and relatively acceptable prices! Chill vibes. Great service. We came here for lunch the other day and loved it. Everything we ordered, I would order again. We got the follow: - Chicken Wings with the Spicy Sauce - Jalapeño Crab Meat (must order) - Fried Chicken Bun (must order) - Chicken Stir Fry Ramen I honestly have no complaints about the food, ambiance, or service. It's all great. I guess if I could complaint about one thing it would be that the chop sticks are weirdly large/wide. I usually have no issues using chop sticks, but these threw me off a bit. Also, I guess I wish I got a little bit more than 4 wings for the price. But they were large wings, and like I alluded to before, the prices are great compared to what you get at other restaurants now-a-days. I can't recommend this place enough. I have several items on the menu I want to try and will be back. I hope they open a Lakeville or Farmington location. read more

First time here and first time eating Ramen and using chop sticks for eating Ramen. I know you hold them like pencils in your hands, thats about all. I asked what black fungus was and was told mainly mushroom noodles. I decided on Niku Soba Ramen which is: Hakata style, Thin sliced pork belly, onion( I ordered without), Simmered in chef special sauce, fish cake, sesame seed and black garlic oil in Tonkatsu Base. I added beans sprouts. I thought the white circled thing was ginger, but that is the fish cake. I slurped, used chop sticks, and used spoon. Yum. The pork belly was good too. I tried my husband's seafood noodle dish, but it tasted oily. The calamari was basic elastic rubber band taste, that I spit out. Chicken wings were $8 for 8. We shared some without sauce. Very basic but my husband likes basic food. I haven't tried pho or pha before and might try in the future. The lady was working alone and really hustled and multi tasked. I took a bite out of seaweed paper and left it behind. I have my carbs for the day/week. We have Itton Ramen close by and may try them next. Highly recommend!!! See photo for descriptions. read more

I order food from here pretty frequently. I always tip 10-20% and pick up the order. Spending anywhere from $30-$150 total each time. Usually there is a very nice young girl working the front. Today I decided I wanted lunch while I take a break from DoorDashing. I walked into the restaurant and saw my order was ready but I had to use the restroom so I proceeded to walk toward the back where they are located. As I'm walking back there an older crabby woman with a permanent frown moved the phone away from her mouth and yelled, "excuse me"! I looked at her in shock and said, "I'm going to use the restroom". I'm 36 and something like this has never happened in all my years of life. Why on Earth would I walk to the back of the restaurant with a secret agenda!? People usually wash their hands before they eat anyways. I 100% feel like she said that to me because I am brown. I use the restroom at many restaurants all day as a doordasher and I have never had someone try to stop me when it's very obvious where I was going. I've never written a review before but I think during the times we are in other brown people need to be aware of the microaggressions the Apple Valley staff, specifically the crabby old woman has toward brown people. I will not be coming back to this location after this Interaction. I'm not spending my money AND TIPPING people who think I'm a threat. Don't come here, drive to the Eagan location. read more

I'm only speaking from the take out experience. we ordered a Cha siu ramen, chicken ramen and 1 Cha siu donburi. The portions were all adequate, at first, it looked like there wasn't going to be enough broth for our ramen but it ended up being just the right amount. The flavor of the broths were both good, nothing memorable, not overly salty and you could tell it had a good amount of fat content in it. The noodles are what made the ramen, they cooked them very well. They were nice and bouncy. The Cha siu donburi had a nice flavor, mostly just minced pork over rice, nothing too special. I do not recommend ordering the boba here, it was very much water down milk tea that only really tasted like I was drinking milk. Overall, the order was made fast and service was fine. I wouldn't come back unless I was really craving ramen and didn't want to go to MSP for it, most likely would try it in the restaurant. read more

Our Ramen-loving teenagers are always on the hunt for a new spot for us to check out and having a nearby spot like Ichiddo just 5 minutes from our house was a win - and the experience did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we were enamored with the Japanese-inspired decor and great selection of menu items that had us wanting the whole menu. We started with the short ribs, gyoza, fried chicken, and pork buns while we were waiting for our ramen and donburi. The food and flavor were on point, and even with a rush of 4-5 other tables being seated during lunchtime, the one waitress kept on top of everyone's flow of food coming out. We have come here so often one of two favorite places. The staff is so nice polite and knowledgeable about the menu. I really like the Japanese decor and feel. They have their own printed napkins and marked bowls ect. They make at least four or five Ramen that I take turns ordering all of them very good. My wife has a few that she likes also. Yeah I have the red hair round and it was just exceptionally good today. We will be back in 3 to 4 weeks. If you're in the Apple Valley area I would give them a try. Fantastic ramen. I ordered extra noodles and the server recommended I also get extra broth. They weren't kidding, the extra noodle was a full second serving. The broth was delicate and flavorful. Fun place to eat! Service was fabulous. Had lunch there yesterday trying 5 Apps and the Char Siu Raman. Note: The Char Siu is not cured like pork belly. All apps were served nice and hot and very good. We had Gyoza (dumplings), Short rib, Karage chicken, Crab Jalapeño (favorite). Super excited that there's a good place for Ramen in Apple Valley now. I had to drive all the way to St. Louis Park for good ramen before. Char Sui Tonkotsu is solid! The broth was rich and flavorful and the ramen had a perfect firm texture. The hanjuku tomago was definitely on point! Only disappointment was the small piece of nori. Probably the smallest that I've ever seen in a bowl of ramen. Great job on the decor! I felt like we had exceptional service. Me and my mom went here just for a quick grab for something, first time ever here. Right away we are greeted by such a friendly woman. I have never seen her before in my life but her welcoming presence felt like I've known her my whole life. Me and my mom decide we'll eat a whole meal, (appetizers, dinner and dessert). I do not regret one bit. I tried the strawberry tea boba and it tasted very non artificial and I was very happy by that. Once we got our food I was in heaven. I don't eat out very often since I'm pretty busy and like cooking myself but it is definitely a spot I'll go to again and again. The decoration there made me feel safe and at home. And usually I would never encourage upping prices, but to the girl who is running the whole place, do it!!! The food I would pay lots of money for. Everything is pretty affordable and it's all only five bucks per an item at most. The 1st was in MPLs and she chose this one. She understood the difference between the broths and noodles now. This had more depth and saltiness. Service was good. The jalapeño popper like fish was nice and crunchy. My husband loved their chicken wings. Their ambience was nice and simple. No need for that if you have good Ramen that's presentable.
