    Egg rolls

Super glad we ended up giving this place a try, I wish they were open more as my daughter loves their boba, but their egg rolls are SO good and the food was all very tasty. It's the closest spot with the best egg rolls to us so when they're open definitely go get some as a side to your piping hot bowl of pho!

Happy to see another Pho spot in the south metro, nice to have choices. The pho broth is mild in taste not as robust as the other places I go but still really good to warm your soul. We also got the wonton noodle soup with pork. The noodles were bouncy and slight chew to it. The wonton skin is thicker then most places. The filling was good but for me the wonton skin has to be thin. The pork is the same pork was thin and nothing really much into it. Wish they had some veggies to go with it. I see myself picking up food after work several times a month.

My photos don't do this place any justice. The banh mi looks empty but it was filled just right. Not too full where ingredients are falling out. The bread and the cha are the stars of the show. Chewy bread, not too brittle where the crust just breaks apart. The cha is reminiscent of a better time lol. It brought me straight back to the street vendors of Vietnam. I will be back to try more of the menu!

Tried Pho Rosemont Asian Cuisine and it was fantastic! Everyone working there was very friendly and it is a nice atmosphere to eat inside. I called ahead to grab the food to go (no online ordering) and the food was ready in about 15 minutes. I ordered the rare beef pho and grilled pork vermicelli. The pho broth had a rich flavor and I especially liked the texture of the noodles. The meat cooks in the broth for those that may have never had pho before. The Vermicelli grilled pork was savory and the fish sauce added a lot of flavor to the dish. I will definitely be coming back!

Went here for the first time last night, and I was seriously impressed by how much I enjoyed the food. If you had been here when it was Mr Wish, the general layout is nearly the same. We started with the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer, and I had a Tiger Milk Tea (which contained boba). I neglected to take a picture of either of these as that early in the meal, I didn't know I'd be needing them for a review. The spring rolls were good (served with peanut sauce) and my boba drink was as good as when this location was Mr Wish. My dining partner had the Bún Vermicelli V6, which was vermicelli noodles with grilled pork, a few grilled shrimp, and a large fried egg roll. It came in a large bowl with lettuce, bean sprouts, carrot shreds, julienned cucumber, green onions and topped with a generous amount of crushed peanuts. It was served with a small side bowl of sauce to dump over the noodles as a dressing. I asked about what item was featured in the picture between the beef and pork section of the menu. That was the Shaking Beef and is what I ordered. The current picture of it on the menu doesn't really accurately show the size of the meal I received - it was far bigger, and I have leftovers to look forward to. Served over shredded lettuce, the main component was unexpectedly tender beef chunks in a dark brown, savory yet slightly sweet sauce with sautéed onions. On the edges of the plate were long cut cucumber slices and slices of tomato. These tomatoes were great - perfect ripeness and texture, actually full of flavor (suspecting they may have been locally grown). The dish was topped with some sprigs of cilantro and served with a side dish of white rice. I really enjoyed the taste, flavor level and textures within this dish, especially that the beef was so good. If there were anything I would change, I did wish that I had a knife available at the table (there was a supply of soup spoons, forks and chopsticks at the table) to cut some of the pieces of beef into smaller chunks, as several pieces were about double what I consider bite size, at least for me. Service was professional and friendly. At the end of our meal, the place was getting busier and we had already packed up leftovers and were waiting for the bill. We didn't realize until we asked that when you're done, you go up to the till to pay. I thought this was good to mention in my review so that other diners are aware. Great food, good experience, will definitely be back!

There is a good variety of Chinese, Hmong, and Vietnamese options (mainly pho). When I picked up my order the location appeared very clean and chill. I wouldn't mind eating in the restaurant. They also have kiosks where you order rather than ordering with a person, but someone was close to greet me and hand me my to go order. Onto the food, my friend ordered the sesame chicken with white rice. The portion is pretty good sized, unfortunately I don't have a photo. The sauce is very dark, and didnt really give sesame chicken as you'd probably expect from other sesame chickens in the twin cities. However it was a nice umami and cooked well. I enjoyed them, but it was not to my friend's taste nor what she expected. I ordered the braised pork belly special with purple sticky rice and Hmong sausage. The pork belly came with one egg, you can add more for an additional cost. The sausage comes with a spicy sauce, which you can also get extra for additional cost. The pork belly was soooo fatty. Like barely any fat rendering seems to have occurred and for being braised and fatty the meat was surprisingly dry/tough. The flavor was very sweet. It would have been nice for a bit more salty/umami to shine through. The egg was yummy, sauce penetrated the egg white pretty completely. Not sure how those are supposed to be in this particular dish, but it was a hard boil, not jammy or anything like that. The Hmong sausage was my favorite, very nice texture and flavor. The sauce is super spicy and pairs well with everything. The purple sticky rice was also perfect. Last, I added on a mango cheese bun which was fresh, lightly sweet, and delicious however it was not made from Vangz. It was pre packed from a St Paul bakery, so still local at least but I was expecting from their dessert options that those were made in house. Overall, the meal was decent. I purposely went with a special dish rather than a more popular choice because I like to show different options in my reviews. I hate when I can't find the whole menu in actual customer photos. If people are only ordering 5 items from you, that says something about your menu and overall food quality. I'm still curious to see what else Vangz has to offer before I write them off. I was torn between choosing the pork belly stir fry or crispy pork belly. I'd also love to try their pho. I will be back to try more and update my review :)

Each dish was super flavorful and had a good amount of kick but not too much for the midwestern palate IMO. The Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes were INCREDIBLE and I loved the beef rendang and fish sauce caramel pork were delicious too. Don't skip on the bread pudding for dessert. The only slight miss for me were the spring rolls but just due to personal preference. Highly recommend!

The interior is going for pacific coastal vibes with fun colors, bountiful foliage and tiki decor. We started with the English Pea Wontons which provides a few bites of wontons soaked in the delicious Tom Kha coconut broth. Next, the Fried Brussel Sprouts with the sweet and savory dressing and pork belly is a new personal favorite take on the popular side dish. The Beef Rendang was a delightful mix of spice, herbs, coconut, and tamarind. The beef was tender and the broth was perfectly rich! The toasted coconut milkjam ice cream was an odd, crumbling, dry texture that was not enjoyable. Might be the worst dairy free ice cream I've had unfortunately. The service was very attentive, friendly and helpful and I'm excited to return!
