My only minor critique is that the roll could've been wrapped a bit tighter to keep the end pieces from falling apart, but honestly, it didn't take away from how delicious it was. I would happily order it again (and again). The Drunken Mussels were also a hit. The portion size was generous and the sauce was salty in a satisfying way--overall, a great dish. I ordered the Spicy & Sweet Blast Curry (mild), but unlike other Thai spots where mild still brings the heat, this one had zero spice and ended up feeling a bit flat. (Typically Japanese curry comes with potatoes and more onions, but given my dietary restrictions I was happy with the carrots.) The yaki udon was sweeter than I expected, and the beef was slightly chewy but not overdone. My spouse ate the whole thing, plus a good amount of my rice. It was not the most authentic Japanese comfort food I've had, but still pretty good. A curry restaurant in Japan would have served the curry rice with pink pickled vegetables. Restaurants that serve udon typically have some kind of pepper to sprinkle on top. If I'm in the area I would consider stopping by again.
