I worked with Garo, Raffi, and Vic over the course of about 6 months. I wanted to surprise my fiancee, without her knowing that I was in the process of looking for a ring. Raffi helped me look for and Infinity ring with which to propose. After the proposal, my fiancee and I started the wedding ring search. We went back and Garo helped us with the search- He was amazing, and extremely helpful. (Please learn from our mistake) My fiancee, thinking that we could potentially get a better deal elsewhere, wanted to look around at other locations. She did a few months of research on the exact style she wanted, and then retailers to work with. We went to one that had a good ring, good style, and good price. We ended up buying the ring (from another vendor in the DTLA area), and later found out that it was not to the standards we thought. Ultimately it was our mistake, but the delivery of information was extremely confusing, and the matching of character was not good at all. We were able to cancel the deal within 24 hours, at which point I took us straight back to IOTR. REALLY valuable note: The diamond industry is informationally asymmetric and opaque. The people at IOTR lay everything out in front of you at the very start. They guide you through what is available, without pressuring you into a direction that THEY want you to go. If they're a little more expensive (which I dont think they are), it is worth it. Buck up and spend them money that is going to make you happy for the rest of your life, and do not discount the value of experience. I LOVE the way his ring turned out, I can't wait for him to finally see it on our wedding day :) -1 star because they didn't have the engraving done when they said they would, also they charge you $40 for resizing a ring not purchased there, I know of other places that does it for $20.
