Iconic Pour Over was smooth and flavorful!!
    Edward K.

I was having myself a decadent Yelper day. Basically driving around northern Jersey, shopping in ethnic food stores and eating ethnic food. On my way home, I wanted some delicious coffee. I noticed Iconic Coffee made pour overs and figured it was right up my alley! The shop is nice and large. There's a nice selection of tables, both high top and regular. The woman working behind the counter was very nice and took the pour over process seriously. They use Coffee Project beans. I believe that was the first time I've tried them. The coffee was remarkably smooth and the citrus flavor notes were pronounced. My palate isn't super refined but I could definitely taste the quality. They used real mugs, which is a nice touch. Truly a nice place to sit and have a cup of coffee!

R&B music is relaxing and sets the vibe for a nicely decorated place. The menu is clear and the service is attentive and friendly. The food: the breakfast sandwiches were made fresh and were soft and delicious. The bacon was crisp and the spinach was plentiful in the other sandwich. The Almond Croissant was stale, but giving them a "pass" as it was Sunday and they may have received their delivery 1-2 days ago. The coffee: The drip coffee was good, the Double Cortado was enjoyed by my son who is a Coffee aficionado and he felt it may have been under extracted - it was good nonetheless. I would return, especially for the breakfast sandwiches and cool vibe

Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso = Yummy!!!

A Sip of Comfort at Iconic Coffee I stopped by Iconic Coffee during an after-hours event and decided to try the brown sugar shaken espresso--and wow. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the best espresso drinks I've had in a long time. While I originally came for the event, which featured the vibe still carried. The space itself is cozy and inviting, and now I'm already planning my return--this time just to sit, sip, read a book, and truly soak in the atmosphere. Iconic Coffee has definitely earned a spot on my regular rotation. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Iconic Coffee is making its way to my list of top cafes in Bergen County. The owners put so much love into creating a café with a cozy ambiance, beautifully presented drinks, and welcoming service. Parking can be difficult as it's located in Downtown Hackensack. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly owners. They make you feel at home or like you're long-time friends. I can see why they have a lot of regulars! They're also pet friendly and have treats for your fur babies. The drink menu offers your classic espresso beverages as well as specialty ones. Their food menu has some brunch options like sandwiches, salads, and French toast sticks. If you stay in, they bring your order to your seat. I recently ordered the Vanilla Caramel Macchiato ($6) and Berry Bliss Acai Shaken Refresher ($5). Loved the presentation of the drinks - they were served in tall glasses. The Vanilla Caramel Macchiato was a winner for me! It was on the sweeter side, but I was still able to taste the espresso. The acai drink was refreshing and reminded me of a less tarty strawberry lemonade. I enjoy getting work done here while sipping on a drink or two. They play R&B music, which always puts me in a good mood. I LOVE R&B!!! There's plenty of comfortable seating and reliable, fast wifi. The owners added some thoughtful touches - the tables are wheelchair accessible and there are hooks to hang your bags/belongings. They even have a soundproof meeting booth you can rent ($41 per 4 hours, $26 per 1.5 hours). Take a sip and stay awhile :')

Five stars for the drinks! The matcha is genuinely to DIE for! The reason I knocked off a star is because the food wasn't that great. I got the chicken salad sandwich and it had an off taste and the bread wasn't very good. I'd be willing to give their food another try! But I keep finding myself going back for the matchas. Normally I get iced pistachio matcha, but I just tried hot sweet potato matcha... amazing. The ambiance is so cute! And the servers are always very kind when I go in. I'll definitely be going back this week now that it's chilly out for a nice cozy sweet potato matcha.

Just the kind of place I've been looking for. It's easy to feel uninspired and boring in your 30's and clubs don't hit the same and your friends aren't as free to hang with all the time. But that's no problem!! Iconic Coffee makes grabbing coffee feel like a fun social activity. Grab some friends or bring a good book to read while you drink your go-to beverage here. They got all the jams from 90s to 2010s!! It made the environment so fun and relaxing. This place truly is iconic with their genuine love for craftsmanship of good coffee, enjoyable ambiance and friendly service

Great service and food. Nice place to stop by and relax for a bit. Definitely coming back.

I absolutely loved the decor here. The vibes are cozy and welcoming! I ordered a chai latte, and the owner himself took my order. He was very kind and accommodating to my requests. They offer a wide selection of coffee, food, and pastries, making it perfect for any craving. There are plenty of sit-down tables, free Wi-Fi, and quick, friendly service, making it an ideal spot to hang out with friends or get work done on your laptop. I'm always happy to support local small businesses, and this one has definitely won me over. I'll be back for sure!

Underrated gem on main st! I've passed by a few times since I get my hair done in the area but decided to stop by for a caffeine break and they did not disappoint. This coffee shop is spacious and leans more on the cafe side since they do offer a few wraps and paninis but I can definitely see myself returning to get some work done. I ordered the ice brown sugar shaken espresso with pumpkin and an almond croissant. The croissant was perfectly buttery and flaky with a proper amount of filling where it wasn't busting out of the sides. If you're in Hackensack I know there's a lot of drink shops popping up I'm just saying give Iconic Coffee a try.

Cozy cafe in Hackensack. I had the pleasure of visiting this coffee shop while visiting family in Nero and wanting a quick breakfast. There's nothing quick about the food here. It's prepared with love in the best way. The drinks are huge and well crafted. My teenage son loved it and the decor of the place is so cool, they even have a cool booth you can rent to work in which is soundproof.

i LOVEEE iconic coffee with every fiber of my being!! the food is always fresh , the drinks are crafted to perfection , the staff and owner are delightful to talk to and always remember my orders . I love starting my morning or afternoon with a trip to my favorite, black owned , local coffee shop try the matcha with strawberry or lavender cold foam and the espresso with chocolate cold foam .. it's *chefs kiss*

Cute coffee shop with a lot of soul. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I have not been in the town before and they gave me several recommendations and checked up on me as I worked by at table to see if I needed anything. Coffee was good and in a huge mug. I loved it. As you can see from the photos, the space is very cozy with plenty of space to sit down with a laptop and do some work. I didn't bring mine so can't tell if wifi service is good. I am gluten free and could not eat most of the food on the menu. I was hungry so I opted out for a hearty vegetable soup. It was simple but good and hit the spot. I would definitely recommend this place and stop by again if I am in the area.

I've been on the search for a good matcha latte as I am visiting from out of town, after going to 6 different cafes it's safe to say iconic had the most iconic one! The service is fast and the ambiance is perfect for a lunch date or/ and working on your laptop. Highly recommend this location!

Further down the line, there are prepared pizzas, and even further, there are sandwiches and signs posting the specials of the day. My husband and I initially walked in with the intention of grabbing a croissant, but we couldn't help ourselves and nabbed a spicy salmon sandwich to share. Ordering was a cinch, and since we were dining in, we were directed to grab a seat. Seating space is aplenty, with an entire half of the interior dedicated to tables. On a weekend morning, there were lots of patrons visiting, and even then, there were lots of seats for us to choose. I'm typically a purist at heart, but there was no stopping me once I saw there was a s'more croissant available. If and when you order one for yourself, they'll ask you if you want it warmed, and the answer is absolutely yes. The marshmallow got melty and gooey, and I gasped when I saw the chocolate inside. It's like a naughty pain au chocolat, and while it was a little on the sweet side for my own preferences, I could see this going over well for those chasing cavities. The spicy salmon was also surprisingly decent, with crunchy bread and salmon that was dressed with a good kick. I noticed there were some other tables with lingering parties, who had clearly long finished their food but weren't being pressured or chased away. I'd recommend Patis Bakery for those who might want to work or sit with friends for a longer time in a cozy space.

I was pretty hungry coming off a 12-hour shift so I got the Hungryman sandwich with a hash brown on the side. They have a few options as far as French toast goes and my girlfriend decided on Nutella stuffed. Our food came out rather quickly considering how busy they seemed to be. A few other parties were dining in and a good amount of people picked up takeout. My sandwich was much bigger than I anticipated but it was delicious. The various meats brought the saltiness and savory flavor I was looking for and it all paired well with the eggs and cheese. The bread it was served in had a nice crunch to it which is always appreciated. The sandwich was great but the next time I get it I have to add the SPK (salt, pepper, ketchup for you non-Jerseyans). I also tried some of my girlfriends French toast. It looked really good and I think I saw them take a picture before bringing it to our table. I'm not mad at that, as a Yelper I'm a firm follower of phone-eats-first! The French toast was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and the bread had the all-important crunch. Walnuts also added good texture to everything. I think the only thing stopping me from rating this place 5-stars is the price. It's definitely on the pricier side. My girlfriend and I got coffees with our food and everything came out to a few bucks short of $50. Nevertheless, a very solid breakfast spot. I could see myself coming back. I found it weird that they have such nice plates but they only have plastic utensils. Not a knock on them, just a quirky thing I noticed.
