Had high hopes for the all you can eat rodizio for a weekend lunch. I figured dinner would be very busy with a wait, so for my first time I came during lunch. Being the restaurant is less busy at lunch, therefore less AYCE being ordered, the beef cuts were mostly overcooked and tough. It seemed as though they were reheated and burnt to a crisp. Even the pieces with pink in the middle were hard to cut (but had good flavor). Overall, I was disappointed by the beef and was unable to finish what was on my plate. The chicken, sausage, and turkey were the best cuts on my visit. The mashed potatoes, fries, salad and beans/rice were all tasty enough sides. For $60 a person, it was not worth it for me. I would suggest lowering the price for AYCE during lunchtime. I probably should have ordered a meat platter instead. What a celebration! Attended this place to celebrate my parents 36th anniversary and I will say they do a great job with groups and celebrations. As other reviews have stated they do well with menu options for groups as well. This is a BYOB establishment which is always nice because you can bring in something you might enjoy with your meal. Beware on weekends parking will often be a little more challenging as it is street parking. Once you are in be ready for a fun environment as they do fun celebrations with lights, music, and bubbles for birthdays and special occasions. Chorioan has great food and the service is great, BUT be very observant of the prices and your bill!! They list a price in the menu then nothing matches in the bill they bring.. for example an empanada may be 3 dlls and the ticket then shows 3.25.. subtle adjustments.. a mlanesa wld be 16.75 and the ticket comes at 17.25 or something like that.. when you ask, they always say is because the price in the menu is cash and the ticket is card.. but it doesnt really square up because not all the prices have the same adjustment (corresponding to a % for the ccard fee). So just beware, it is very annoying and disappointing. Not sure why they do this trickery. I came to Choripan Rodizio Too right after watching the World Cup Final at home. The atmosphere was great and I kind of wish I caught the match at the restaurant (though it probably would've been a bummer if Argentina had lost). Parking can be tough but luckily I was able to find street parking up the block. The place was PACKED but the employees let my party of 3 know that people would be clearing out soon and we would be able to get a table shortly. Sure enough there was a mass exodus of proud Argentina/Messi fans and they took the celebration to the street. A few men had drums and they were banging away right outside the entrance to the restaurant. Plenty of people continued cheering too; just very lively overall. My party was then seated and we were able to order pretty quickly. We took the time to browse the menu while waiting so it didn't take long for us to make up our minds. We did all opt for water for our drinks but it turns out we were given bottled water. I hate paying for water but it is what it is I guess. We got the Parillada Argentina and it had a great mix of meats. Skirt steak, beef ribs, chicken, sausage, blood sausage, intestines, and sweet bread. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked accordingly. Everything else in the platter was cooked to the proper doneness as well. All of the meats were seasoned well and I enjoyed them all. I had never had grilled sweet bread and was pleasantly surprised by it; I might have to try grilling sweet bread at home. The steaks were tender and juicy. The chicken was good but nothing extraordinary. Overall I really enjoyed these meats and would probably get it again. For those not as adventurous you might want to go for the Parillada Americana which substitutes some of the 'weirder' meats for Italian sausage, pork loin, and more conventional fare. The meat platter came with 2 sides and we opted for mashed potatoes and rice & beans. Both were very good as well. They provided a nice break from all the meat. We also ordered a side of yuca fries. If you've never had fried yuca I suggest you try it; I'm a big fan. My friend wanted the picanha as well so we added it to our order. We order it medium rare and it did come out cooked that way but for some reason it just felt very tough. It didn't help that our knives were not sharp enough to cut through it easily; it definitely took a little more elbow grease than it should have to cut through the meat. As an Argentine, I felt as if the food here was incredibly authentic. I got the Ñoquis and they were delicious. My family shared the asado and they didn't love it. I tried some of it and I thought it was just alright. Despite the mixed feelings about the food, we collectively agreed that the vibes of the place were perfect. We tried the Grilled Octopus, Paella, and all you can eat Rodizio, which comes with serving 7 different styles of meat, 2 sides, no sharing and no take out. Meats are cooked on the spot, and carried to your table. Some of the beef items were outstanding, but others were average. The server was very enthusiastic and explained us a lot about their famous dishes. The Paella was incredible. Its huge, we ate the dish for two days. All seafood items taste excellent. Downside to this: our food was burnt and cold. We got the Parillada Argentina which should be served on a sizzling place with charcoal underneath. Charcoal was already out when we got our dish. Chinchulin was burnt, meat and sweetbreads cold and chewy. My husband was treating for my birthday so I didn't pull a Karen. Told the waitress at the end and gave her feedback, not to get any freebies or anything but just to inform her. I'm used to this place being 100% male servers and cooks so it was nice to see a female server but maybe she was inexperienced and forgot about our food and was sitting up there for a long time. Went here with a visiting friend from California. We went here last many years ago before Covid when he was living in the area. We opted for the Choripan Special (beef only) for $100 ($50 each) with sides of rice and beans and salad. He brought a bottle of sangria and the waiter put it in a pitcher with ice and cut up fruit. They have no liquor license. Last time here we got the plate with chicken and sausage. When we were done with our meal, half the plate was fat and grizzle. We should've opted for the all you can eat rodizio for about $56/person. The ambiance was nice. A bit noisy. There were a few large groups and a few small groups. The TV's had soccer on them. Got Uber Eats from here and was very happy with the food. Ordering steak for takeout is often a risky proposition. Even if it was cooked perfectly out of the kitchen, you have no idea what state that steak is in by the time it gets to your home. Fortunately, the restaurant packed my Picanha steak tightly in aluminum foil. When it arrived at my house, the steak was still warm and juicy. So that definitely exceeded my expectations. I also ordered a fried calamari, Choripan w/ fries, and a Tomate and Cebolla Oreganata salad. They were all pretty good, but the highlight was definitely the Picanha. My manager and I decided to get lunch from this location and when we arrived parking was tough. I was lucky to find parking in a private lot nearby. I walked in and was greeted. Angel was our server and told me where to sit. He was very nice. I started with a cranberry juice. For my meal I got the salmon and my manager got the meat platter.
