We had an appointment and arrived a little before our scheduled time, but Jessica the RN seemed surprised to see us, almost as if we didn't have an appointment at all. That immediately set the tone for a poor experience. We then waited about 15 minutes with no communication or acknowledgment. When we decided to walk out, she finally came out to help us, so we chose to stay and give the visit a second chance. Unfortunately, her customer service throughout the appointment was disappointing. What made the experience even more frustrating was the communication. I came in seeking professional guidance and asked for her opinion, only to be told, "I can't answer that." We are not strangers to this field and understand what a proper standard of care, professionalism, and customer service should look like. Because of that, the dismissive tone and lack of communication were especially noticeable and concerning. The most concerning part was during the injection in my nose. It felt like the needle went through and I could actually feel liquid coming out of my nostril. When I mentioned it, instead of showing concern or apologizing, she dismissed it and said she was sure "some just went through." That response made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unheard. So here we go through the entire process... day 1 and I thought by me seeing the main doctor I would have the best results. But it didn't go like that. Had first Botox session with her and one eyebrow came out higher than the other. (Ok no big deal I can have it fixed in two weeks) two weeks went by then I go to La mirada for a fix. She shoots 3 units in my other brow so they can "match" turns out, three units was too much. I go home and Do my own research online and the usual fix is two units. I am now left with the opposite eyebrow higher than the other. It's like we're on a seesaw and they can't get it right. So now I go back to main doctor cus it was time for a lip flip before my birthday and I told her about my issue with the brows and asked her to inject slightly more on the brow to balance my face but she refused. And not only did she refuse because she feared it would " droop" . She ensured me that "I would love the way it looked in two weeks" Thank you for being cautious but it was not a correct decision. well... more weeks went by and nothing happened. Still out of balance. So I called back la mirada and they approved a third touch up... by that time though, I was in the mix of a lot of travel plans and genuinely had no time to return and I just gave up. I shouldn't have to go back three time for a simple Botox. On top of all this, all the doctor does is try to upsell you skin care. Read the room lady. I just spent $600 in Botox that I don't even like and you're trying to sell me more stuff? Absolutely not. I am huge on energy and She is not a genuine person and I don't feel comfortable with her any longer. These are my $600 results and celebrated my 30th birthday looking absolutely ridiculous. Beware. If they have any respect for their customers, they would refund me for this entire experience. Or at least provide the next service complimentary with someone who has a proven record of phenomenal work. Until then, I am staying away from Botox. Saw Dr. Arpita for dysport on my crows feet and I called the next day since one eye looked bigger than the other, my eye was super watery, itchy and my eye was twitching. I called the clinic the next day to inform them and they scheduled me for a "follow-up". I addressed my concerns and I felt like Dr. Arpita was upset after I told her my symptoms. She said my watery eye was due to allergies!! I don't even suffer from allergies at all! To me it felt like it was a side effect from Dysport but she made it seem like there's no side effects. It seems as if it hurts her ego when you are not satisfied with her work because she came in kinda feisty instead of sympathetic. I honestly left a little bummed out because I couldn't get answers about my watery/painful eye. The pain finally subsided so I'm pretty sure it was a side effect. I would respect her as a person if she would be straight up instead of gaslighting me and telling me it's an allergy or that I came in with something else prior to the injection. She also mentioned other comments that did make me feel bad but overall I wouldn't recommend this place. I feel like they do follow-up apps just to make it seem like they care but when you get there nothing is done. read more
