Nothing to complain about means I don't have any issues putting out a 5 star review. My dining partner suggested ICU as a place to grab some wings. With 15 sauces available, I thought, "let's try something different." The bartender/waitress greeted us as soon as we found our table. She was quick to get us drinks, followed by grabbing our order. We picked 50 wings and a basket of fries. Knowing we are big eaters, we figured we could polish off the three flavors (Thai chili, Parmesan garlic and hot garlic) of wings. Turns out we were wrong! While we did damage, the jumbo sized wings were more than we could finish. Meaty, hot and amply sauced, they were very tasty. The full basket of fries came piping hot and also was more than enough to send us home with leftovers. The bar is conveniently located, has a nice sized parking lot and plenty of seating. While there seemed to be a lot of regulars, we received great service in the sports themed tavern. Local Wisconsin vibes abound. We will definitely come back again! read more

I stopped here with my lady for lunch and a drink because I like the beer and burger lunch thing. The place was a nice Wi bar/restaurant, not a dive or high end but just a nice place to hang for a while. The place was packed on a Saturday for lunch so bar eating was the only option, all tables were taken and only two bar stools left. The menu was your typical bar menu with sandwich's, burgers, pizza, wings, wraps, apps, salads etc. service was slow because the place was packed for lunch. I asked if the burgers were char grilled and if rare was ok and I was told yes. I ordered the western burger for a change rare and it was cooked rare with a nice char flavor with fresh toppings. The bun was not toasted and the bready/dense moist/fresh kind which was all wrong because the burger was very good. The frys and onion rings were super average and not very good compared to the burger I thought. I would definitely go back for other menu items because overall it has potential with the menu and the burger was almost there for a good cheeseburger. read more

I am not one to write a review, but I feel I have to rebut Brad H. and his comments of the night of 3/19/24. I happened to be at ICU that evening from 8 to roughly 10 pm with my boyfriend sitting at the bar. There were a few people sitting at tables, but the majority were at the bar, roughly 10 patrons, including us. We were actually sitting about 5 stools away from Brad H. and I had made a comment to my boyfriend about the music being played and noticed that the reviewer Brad H. was playing the music via the ToughTunes app. There is nothing wrong with country at all as I like all genres of music. I never saw any bartender that evening that was rude or disrespectful to any customers or visa versa. I'm just putting my observation out there from a customer perspective that was there that evening. Take it as you will. The staff at ICU have always been outstanding, attentive, and courteous. Hello, my name is Brad and I live near your establishment and recently moved into the area. I have been in your place three times, last night 3/19/24 at approximately 8:30-9:00 , being the third time. Bar was slow, maybe 8 to 10 customers max with only four at the bar. There was two bartenders, a young black gentleman and an older white lady, maybe manager or possible ownership- not sure. I ordered a beer and the had a second beer, I was using my phone TouchTunes ap to play music. I was approached by the female bartender and told that if I was ordering food I needed to do so Right Now! as kitchen was closing. I ordered a half pound burger and a coke with meal. When the female bartender delivered my burger, she flopped it on the bar near me and said or asked " Are you playing music"? I replied yes I am She responded with " You need to stop this is not a country bar, you have played six songs and that's enough " I immediately asked for my bill, she asked " you want it now"? I answered yes , paid the bill, left the burger and coke, and walked out without saying a word. 1. I was spending my money of which your establishment earns proceeds from the juke box. Not sure where this bartender gets off thinking she can dictate how I spend my money . I was playing contemporary new age country not hardcore country which shouldn't matter either way. 2. Anyone including the bartender could have spent their money to play anything they wished or spent extra a skipped over my music. Nobody else was playing music. 3. I realize you can refuse to serve whoever you choose however I was not intoxicated I had been served food and beverages yet rudely told what music I could play? Wow! 4 if that genre of music is not acceptable in your bar, I recommend blocking it on iTunes or posting a sign that says No Country Music Allowed. I can honestly say I have never been treated this way in any bar/restaurant. Absolutely the most rude, obnoxious and worst customer service I've ever experienced! I will be posting numerous reviews regarding this bartender s rude and unwelcoming behavior. If she is ownership she shouldn't be. Maybe she should have her own private party and invite friends and people she likes and play only music she likes. As for me, I will never spend a dime in ICU again and tell everyone I can of this behavior and experience. Maybe you have so much business you don't care about one new customer? This is a fantastic bar and fantastic place to watch the Packers play on game day. The staff is always very friendly. The drinks are cheap and strong. The other patrons are friendly and willing to give a crisp high five and "Go Pack Go" whenever its needed. Also, free house shots when the Packers score a touchdown is always the sign of a great Packers bar. Now we get to the food. The food is some of the most delicious bar food you will ever eat. The wings are hands down some of the best wings I have ever had anywhere. They are always hot and crispy no matter what flavor I get. The fries are delicious. The burgers and sandwiches are tasty as well. This is a great bar to hang out at no matter what day of the week it is but the highlights are probably Friday, Saturday and game nights. Classic neighborhood bar with great wings. The Good: Great place for wings! They have great sauce and the wings are fried, but not breaded. It's a great value for the size of the wings you get. I am rarely ever able to finish 12 of them. The Bad: I was not impressed with their baked fish for a fish fry. It just comes plopped on a plate with nothing on the side. We arrived about 6:30 Friday night to try their fish fry. We were able to find a table immediately. A friendly waitress named Laurie immediately brought us a couple of great drinks. We ordered the deep fried haddock and jumbo shrimp. Absolutely delicious... we had our order in about 20 minutes. Very impressive! The fried haddock was crispy and thick. I took my mom here on Friday 9/30/22 around 6pm. The sign says on the door to be patient as they are short staffed. This is a wonderful place to go for fish fry. The gals are so very sweet and they work their butts off for you the customer. How could you not be patient for such great service and food. It was the best Perch dinner I have had in a long time. We tried the Old Grog first but the wait was way too long. So happy we decided to give this place a try. The rush seemed to roll in just before we left. Not a huge fan. Been here twice, the first time for a Friday fish fry where both of our meals were extremely over-done. Just now again decided to try their wings. Normally their bone-in wings are ten bucks for a dozen. .. no thanks. On Tuesdays they have them for .35 cents so we decided to wait til then. I tried to call for take-out but the special price is dine-in only. Okay, that's fine. Came in around 6 and luckily got a table. I ordered a dozen and my boyfriend ordered 2 dozen (me: hot garlic, him:bbq). Waitress was attentive and friendly. We didn't care for the sauces at all - they were both really sweet. Barbecue, ok again, sometimes is sweet. But I thought "hot garlic" would be like a garlicky buffalo... not the case at all. They tasted like spicy honey. Needless to say we only finished about half of our wings. When we asked for a box, the waitress informed us that normally they don't allow people to take wings home but she could tell it was our first time there so she "allowed" us to take our purchased wings home. I realize some ppl probably take advantage of the special price but that wasn't the case for us. We would have finished the wings if the sauce was any good. Really good wings! My wife is a Buffalonian, so we're pretty picky when it comes to wings. We tried 4 of the sauces. Hot, Hot Garlic, Bacon BBQ, and Medium. The medium was very good. The Bacon BBQ was interesting, but it was good. The Hot Garlic has a great garlic flavor with a very good kick. By the time we got to Hot, it was really kicking. The Medium was the best flavor, seconded by the Hot Garlic if you can handle the heat. The wings themselves were nice and crispy and of a good size. I didn't really like that they charged me for 4 orders of 6 wings as opposed to splitting 2 orders of 12.. resulting In 2 more dollars in price. The bar itself has the feel of a dive bar, but is pretty clean, which is nice. The staff is friendly and fairly attentive, and the food wait time wasn't bad at all. We were here on a Sunday night, so I don't know if that is standard, but it seems like it would be. Prices are reasonable. We'll be visiting again. read more
