I mean between the delicious food, perfect drinks, and sweet service plus calm atmosphere what's to not love? The guy controlling the front was super sweet and brought over our food and carefully placed all our utensils down. I got the taro milk tea and the mango cake and my bf got the crepe. We loved everything it wasn't overtly sweet, and considering I love super sweet things, everything was perfectly balanced. Super happy this was our first experience here and we will definitely come again!
This is my first time at Icy Melon, which is where the MangoMango in the Hmart plaza was originally before it moved next to the Lua and Kira Revolving Sushi. There may be limited parking near the restaurant but the plaza parking lot is large in size. The menu has a pretty good variety of desserts from crepe cakes to hot stuff. Service is straightforward because you order on the kiosk and then take a seat. Someone will bring the dessert to you, but I'm not sure how they know which order goes to what table. I got the mango sticky rice, which was light and yummy. The foam made from coconut milk really tied the dish all together with the fresh mango and rice at the bottom. The rice should have been warmer almost hot in order to bring it all together. It was lukewarm at best and more grainy than other places. We got the signature crepe with strawberries and banana with melon ice cream. I haven't had melon ice cream in a while so it was a pleasant treat. It does taste kind of artificial esp with the color. The crepe was thin, but the Nutella filling was thick and overpowering. So the crepe was overwhelmingly chocolately. Maybe go for vanilla ice cream to balance that.
Cute dessert bar with a lot of different options. On the menu they have ice creams, bubble teas, sago, crepes, and hot teas. The cashier was polite and quick and they also have a self checkout kiosk. There's a lot on the menu that I've never tried and would love to come back to try. I got a coconut mango drink that was both sweet and refreshing.
We stopped by Icy Melon to get some chocolate sundae for take out. The store is spotless, very nice clean interior with lots of decorative items. Menu has all sorts of dessert items like waffle, fruity ice bowl, sticky sweet rice, crepe, smoothie and tea. There's a kiosk you order yourself. We got our order within five minutes. It was in a beautiful watermelon print thermal bag. Very impressive that they give out such nice bags instead of cheap plastic bags. The chocolate sundae was delicious. There was two scoops with Oreo crumbles and a wafer. My five year old was thrilled to have the whole thing by herself.

Today, they forgot to add boba when I specifically request and paid for boba. It was a to-go order with three drinks and had left before seeing there was no boba. I would still go back in the future but be warned that you should double check your order is complete and accurate before you leave.

The service was quick and timely. It was pretty empty when i went there but it's really clean in there which is always a good sign.

We only tried one thing and it was underwhelming. It tastes like zhi ma hu, which is something easy to make in Chinese culture with some sesame paste powder. It also reminded my friend of Chinese tang yuan, which are soup balls with black sesame inside. I would have preferred tang yuan. The taste was very mild, though I did appreciate that they had these mochi balls inside.

We were sat down immediately and then the waiter went to the cash register to have a meeting with other employees about shifts for the week. It went on for a while so we had to go to the register to order our food. We got our food very fast after that. The menu is very similar to mango mango- if not the same. All the same dishes. I was disappointed that the mango chunks seemed overripe and not fresh. That was very unappetizing for me. The place itself is very spacious and bright. It is located in a large plaza with other Asian restaurants.
A replacement for the Mango Mango at this location - similar desserts, but not the same amount of mango or care that goes into the items. Menu was a little difficult to decipher ingredients in case you have allergies, so ask the servers. The sign outside is gone, not yet replaced. Two locations - Hoboken and this one, so not sure if the one in Hoboken was also a Mango Mango or if it was just an Icy Melon before. The sign inside still has the mangomango as a wifi password, too.
Great place with absolutely delicious food and beautiful decor. Loved the mango shaved ice and the lychee green tea. Service is prompt and convenient
Mango crepe cake was perfect. Exactly what I needed after Schezuan food (I probably didn't need more food but you only live once, as the saying goes).
So this place definitely needs to get a bigger location because there was an actual line outside waiting to be seated. Sooooo, after having the desert for the first time I totally understand why people decided to wait. The desert is absolutely delicious. It's made when you order, the fruit is fresh, ice cream is phenomenal and dough is indescribable. My only issue was the mountain of whip cream but honestly that's my preference. Definitely check this place out!!!!!!!!

This is my favorite boba spot so far. I like a lot of jelly in my fruit tea and they always deliver and put a generous amount of lychee jelly in my tea. Even though there's a small staff, they're very efficient and provide hospitable service. Overall the store has cool figurines and different kinds of art all around from anime to cute Sanrio characters. If you enjoy fruit tea this would be a great choice! read more
This was the old Mango, Mango spot (which is now across the street). It sounded like, as the server explained, that the owners used to own the Mango, Mango franchise, but now is running their own thing. Hence, the decor barely changed from the original. The desserts were delicious and still very affordable. Service was good, too. I can't complain on either. If you want your dessert ala Mango, Mango, but don't want to wait in line, come here. Atmosphere: 4 I've came here a few times already. I like the decor~ the seats and tables are cute, clean and comfortable. Their menus could use a facelift because the lamination on them are falling apart. The last time I was there, they have paper printouts of "new drinks" that were literally computer printed papers. They had some posted around the walls and on the glass by the entrance advertising cakes that were no longer sold. Their back wall by the area where they store their fresh mangos are also all scuffed up. I think that this cafe can definitely fix up on these little details to make the dining experience a bit more pleasant. Portion: 5 Portions are decent. I like getting their Mango Juice and Sago. It has actual mango chunks in it: A bit pricy for the actual amount you get but I think of the fact that it's fresh mangoes so I'm more paying for the quality than quantity per se. Regardless, the portion is enough for a good snack and plenty for desert. Flavors: 5 Flavors are delish! I love the freshness of their mango desserts. I love the addition of the herbal jelly and sago to give mango cup some texture. Extraordinarily refreshing on a hot day and feels like a healthy dessert. I come here a lot despite some of the misgivings. I really like their fresh mango desserts and will definitely keep coming here. I just wish they fix up their menus because it's been way too long to deal with the falling-apart menus. read more

This was the first mango mango that I've ever been to, and it's probably one of best one of the four locations I've been to. Here's why: SPACE the interior space of this mango mango meets my expectations. even during times I had to wait, there's always a seat within 15 minutes PRESENTATION the desserts are always neatly presented, and I so appreciate that. it definitely adds to the experience! I've added a video of my most recent order: mango green tea with a strawberry mango ice __ However, here are some things to note since the first time coming here in 2020: CLEANLINESS for the most part, mango mango is clean, but their cleanliness hasn't matched the first time I've 2020. this could be everyone feeling completely done and over with the pandemic though... PORTION SIZE the portions for the mango desserts have gotten significantly smaller over the years and the prices have continued to go up. I'm happy to say that the quality is still there, but I'm less inclined to go if this continues at the rate that it is going PARKING parking here during peak hour is absolutely crazy. be prepared to either walk a far distance or assertively park. Overall, this mango mango is decent: the flavors and presentation of what I know mango mango to be is still there. However, cleanliness and portioning is what I am keeping an eye on next time. Parking is out of their hands, so that is just a forewarning to anyone visiting this plaza for the first time during peak hours. Enjoy! read more

I've been coming here for years, and Mango Mango never disappoints! I decided to try something new this time that my friends always rave about - the crepe cakes! My friend and I ordered a mango slice and an Oreo slice to split. The crepes were very thin and delicate, with the thinnest layer of creme in between. I always refrained from trying the mille crepe cakes as I was worried they would be overly sweet, but I found them to be light and delicious! Overall, each bite almost melts in the mouth and keeps you coming back for more. My friend and I were able to take our time without feeling rushed at one of the tables. Mango mango is a great spot to make a quick trip to, for the food alone, or for a recharge after grocery shopping! read more

Visited this franchise in Chicago. Similar menu...got one of their more popular items - Mango combo A. Real mango cuts in pudding, and tapioca. Fruity and not overwhelmingly sweet - a good finish after an AYCE feast from the hotpot restaurant next door. Looks to be a good place to hangout a bit with friends. read more

Made an impromptu drive one evening to try their Alphonso mango Ice cream and Mille cake . My brother had mentioned this place from TX and I was excited to try this place . They have a cozy dining area bright & charming interiors . They have long list of choices but I went straight for my long awaited Mango ice cream and Mille cake . Creamy , perfectly sweet ,loaded Alphonso mango richness made me close my eyes and relish every spoonful . Mango Mille cake was equally good . Layers of creamy mango goodness topped with freshly cut Alphonso mangoes. This is classic dessert paradise . Not to be missed . read more

Whenever my mom and I go on a sweet treat expedition, we always end up getting the most beautifully colored items. This particular excursion was no exception! A few months ago, I made it my goal to try every single milk tea flavor out there but I quickly came to realize there's a reason why some are more popular than others: the majority of the semi-unique ones tend to suck. Thus, I've since retired my mission and surrendered to the most basic milk tea flavors. The Thai milk tea was good but nothing special. The taro milk tea here, on the other hand, was easily the best taro milk tea I've had anywhere. Of course, that was the drink my mother got. Tried this dessert place for the first time and really enjoyed it. Arrived at 3pm on a Sunday and it was actually pretty busy. We sat a table and the server came to us. The server was very friendly and helped us order. We ordered the mango crepe cake and Mixed Fresh Fruit with sago and jelly in coconut juice. Both came out very quickly and were delicious! I especially loved the classic che mixed fresh fruit with the jelly. The crepe cake was flavorful but not overly sweet. Would definitely come back! read more

I brought my family here for a nice afternoon dessert hangout. I looked at places to find crepes and found this location. Since it wasn't far, we came here. Now be prepared for the parking lot. It's in a strip mall area that is highly popular so parking can be brutal. Upon finding parking, we walked into this place. We were blown away by the decor. It looks so classy for a crepe and waffle spot. Definitely a date spot for couples. They had large tables that fit the 5 of us. We ordered 5 different desserts and chai tea. My nephew got the Oreo Japanese crepes which he absolutely loved. My fiance got the dessert soup. Hard to explain but it was a cold liquid (not water) with mochi, red beans, peanuts, ube, and some other things I don't remember. He wanted to try something different. He liked it but he wasn't blown away. I got the crepe with ice cream. Absolutely delicious! The tea we got, we were able to get free hot water refills. Since there were 5 of us, I got refills about 4 times. The tea was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Since we got there at 12:30pm, it wasn't busy when we arrived so we were able to have the staff full attentive. But around 1:30pm, more people started showing up and it was getting difficult getting his attention. But all in all, I highly recommend this place. Under a new name or new management now-- unsure if Icy Melon is a rebranding or a different store. This review will be for Icy Melon. The interior is the same as Mango Mango's. The seating is still a bit tight. Menu is similar to that of MM but is not exactly the same. My friends and I got 3 items: - Mango Coconut Icy w Ice cream: My friend got this and seemed satisfied. It looked similar to the icy bowls from MM. it included half coconut ice and half mango ice. However, we originally were sent the wrong menu item. We received the SP mango icy w ice cream (tasted similar to MM-- included grapefruit which was sour, mango ice cream, mango ice, sago, and sweet mango) at first. When we brought this up, an employee went to get the correct item and told us that we could just keep the incorrect item. It turned out to be a positive, but it was confusing to us, as we weren't sure if we had ordered the wrong item. - Melon Trio Bowl: This came with watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew balls. It also had lychee jelly, mango popping boba, watermelon ice, and melon ice cream. When I ordered, I asked to add melon ice cream, but when it came out, the bowl already had melon ice cream and I received an extra side of mango ice cream. If I knew it already came with ice cream, I wouldn't have ordered extra. And the extra wasn't even the right flavor. I wish the waiter would've told me that it does come with ice cream, since the menu didn't indicate that. We didn't want to bother the workers so we just ate the ice cream. The bowl itself was good, since I love melons. I could probably do without the mango popping boba, especially since I thought it lowkey tasted spoiled. - Signature Crepe: My friend got this and the presentation looked nice. However, he didn't expect it to come with chocolate, which he doesn't like. I guess we could've expected this since it was in the picture, but it wasn't explicitly stated in the menu. He also asked for strawberry but he received strawberry and banana, which he doesn't like either. We didn't want to make a fuss so he ate it but we wish this could've been prevented. The place seems understaffed so far and that may be why all of our orders were inaccurate in some way. The staff always looked busy so it was harder to try to get someone's attention when we needed something. I would also really appreciate if the menu listed out what each item includes, so we know what to expect (and especially if someone has an allergy or intolerance). Hopefully as time goes on, they're able to iron some of these things out. read more
I've been living in TX so needless to say, I've really missed Asian things - particularly desserts. If you like durian, but not enough to buy it at Kmart to destroy your fridge, come here. They have a few durian options including sticky rice bowls, ice cream, and the crepe cake. (Tried all three and they were all good!) And of course the namesake, mango. When in doubt, get anything with mango. Plump, juicy, and perfectly sweet. Love that this place has a good amount of seating too. Came after dinner around 10:30 and waited about 10 minutes for a table to clear up and seat all 8 of us. read more
I have been coming here ever since they opened and the business just isn't the same any more. The staff: The staff here is friendly depending on which staff members are working. Sometimes you will get a nasty staff member that doesn't seem like they care about their job. Green Tea Crepe: This tasted OK but just isn't my thing. A06: This is my favorite and I get this all the time but the last few times they gave me freezer burned ice cream. The mango ice cream is supposed to be smooth not a rough texture with a nasty after taste. Mango Sundae: This is the worse sundae I have ever tasted in my life. The freezer burned ice cream was disgusting. Mixed Fruit Sundae: This was a mistake to have ordered this as it was not worth to try it. Overall: This place used to be fantastic but I have been coming here way too much that I feel like I need to stop coming here now. Also, the freezer burned ice cream is not good for any dessert. The staff members need to be consistent with being friendly with the customers. read more
