I would highly recommend starting with the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea if it's your first time trying Molly Tea. Service: Staff were friendly and nice. Came for pickup around 9:50 pm on a weekday and was surprised by how busy it still was. People were still coming in to order right before closing. My favorite is the Velvety Matcha Champaca. I've had it two weeks in a row now. Rich matcha flavor, creamy, and really good if you like stronger tea drinks. The Jasmine Mango Smoothie was also great. The jasmine flavor comes through nicely and it wasn't overly sweet. We also tried the Snowy Jasmine. The cream and pecans were packed separately, which was perfect for takeout. I'd recommend ordering this one with no sugar since the cream is already sweet. Everything we've tried has been good so far. First time visiting this location of Molly Tea. Getting our fix since the New York locations had changed to ? Tea. This location is different since they have a sit down area to enjoy the tea. You can either order with the person or off the two kiosks. Molly Tea is known for their premium teas. Specifically the Premium Jasmine Tea which is my usual go to. They have seasonal items that also rotate. This time around I got the Apple jasmine drink with sago. I love the subtle flavor of the Apple jasmine. The sago is about medium sized and has a chew to it versus the soft-like sago. I still prefer the drink without the sago using the thin straw with three hole since it enhances the flavor as you drink it. We will be back for sure. read more

With the plethora of bubble tea shops suddenly popping up, I'm really glad Molly Tea finally made it into the area. I love their teas because their teas are strong and aren't as sweet. I also like that the ice and sweetness levels are customizable. With all the different drink options and combinations, I always have trouble deciding. They are very tea forward and they even have signs to tell you that they are not very sweet. I like boba and a lot of times they run out of boba as early as 5pm so be prepared for that. Stopped by on a weekday around noon with some friends. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the fresh aroma of tea, which was really nice. The shop itself was clean, cozy, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Luckily, there wasn't much of a line. The menu is pretty straightforward, and I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea since it seemed to be one of their popular drinks. My order came out quickly, and I really enjoyed it. the tea tasted fresh and flavorful without being overly sweet. The price was a little higher than I expected, but the quality was good. I've had Molly Tea once at the location in Brooklyn and was pleasantly surprised to see one open here in Edison. You can speak to a person to order or they have two kiosks. The store is brightly lit and well taken care of, it was very clean, no trash or spills in sight. After placing our order we waited maybe 5 minutes and it was ready. And then for our free drinks we got the peach oolong milk tea and the White Champaca Milk Tea. Believe it or not, we actually enjoyed the free drinks much better! Especially the White Champaca Milk Tea. It had such a unique flavor I had never tasted before. The jasmine snowy top was good, but I honestly couldn't really taste the jasmine in the whip cream. I'd probably just get the regular jasmine next time. I think I'd be okay without it. I did like the matcha jasmine milk tea! The matcha was bold and paired well with the jasmine tea. I went to the soft opening and got the classic hot jasmine milk tea with 30%sugar. The premium jasmine tea is fragrant with floral aroma and flavor. It was perfect drink for me afterwork because of its calming effects, though it contains caffeine . The scent was not overwhelming and it was a well balanced taste withe 30 %sugar. It was so good, I had the matcha jasmine with salted cheese with 50% sugar without ice the next day. It was a perfect combination of jasmine and matcha. I'm from NYC and this is probably the first Molly Tea I've been to that was not that crowded haha. I like Molly Tea more than HeyTea since Molly Tea has hot drinks and it more tea forward. This location seemed new with a lot of indoor seating. I usually get the jasmine tea but decided to try their matcha for the first time. I ordered the white champaca (magnolia) matcha hot with 30% sugar. The matcha was not very strong and the floral tea overpowered the taste in general. I think I would stick to their jasmine tea but it was interesting to try. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised that both times I've visited so far, there wasn't much of a wait! The interior is nicely decorated as well. This is a standard Molly Tea location with standard drinks. I do prefer this location to Chinatown, which doesn't have any inside seating area and only a thin sidewalk of waiting space. The drinks at Molly Tea are a bit pricey (expect to spend around $8 on a tea), but they are incredibly fragrant. Their Jasmine tea and Peach Oolong are particularly good. I also really like the Apple drink, but I think the Jasmine pairing is a bit odd and wish it was paired with something more complementary like Osmanthus. The special drinks are like that--hit or miss but consistently distinct. I recommend ordering with less ice and 30% sugar unless you like your tea very sweet. I would 100% recommend visiting Molly tea and especially trying a Jasmine drink, if this is in your budget. read more
