Love the variety of teas to choose from. Anything jasmine is really refreshing. Happy the tea I chose was not sweet. Service was slow and there was no a/c during our visit so it was hot inside while we waited for our order. Nice inside to sip your drink.

With the plethora of bubble tea shops suddenly popping up, I'm really glad Molly Tea finally made it into the area. I love their teas because their teas are strong and aren't as sweet. I also like that the ice and sweetness levels are customizable. With all the different drink options and combinations, I always have trouble deciding. My favorite so far is the pistachio jasmine coconut - so refreshing and love the little pieces of pistachios. The new jasmine mango smoothie is really good too.

It's a clean beautiful tea house with some seatings. The service was good and the staff was friendly. The tea, jasmine matcha looked pretty and tasted great.

I've visited 5 times total since their grand opening. The store is bright and clean. I love the pink decor. The service is fine, nothing good or bad to note either way. What I have tried: - Matcha White Champaca Salted Cheese (salted cheese blended with White Champaca green tea, infused with matcha) - Tongmu Lapsang Salted Cheese Milk (Tongmuguan black tea blended with salted cheese, topped with hazelnut cheese and cocoa powder) - Pistachio White Champaca Coconut (White Campaca green tea blended with coconut water, topped with pistachio cheese) - Premium Jasmine Milk Tea - Osmanthus Milk Tea - Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea - Snowy Jasmine (Premium Jasmine Milk Tea topped with Jasmine Whipped Cream Top) - Snowy Gardenia (Gardenia Milk Tea topped with Jasmine Whipped Cream Top) Currently my favorite drinks are the Snowy Gardenia and Matcha White Champaca Salted Cheese. There was a lot of hype about this store opening in the Edison area. I'm glad it lives up to the hype because the drinks are very good. They are very tea forward and they even have signs to tell you that they are not very sweet. I like boba and a lot of times they run out of boba as early as 5pm so be prepared for that. Obviously since it is located in the H-Mart plaza, expect that parking will be difficult.

Top two tea spots and anyone who knows, knows which are the two! I've yet to try anything that I didn't like yet. Premium jasmine milk tea, apple jasmine milk tea, pistachio coconut, matcha jasmine and matcha champaca. Excellent quality tea and flavor options. My only thing is maybe have more fruit flavor options or limited time specials to change it up from time to time!

Stopped by on a weekday around noon with some friends. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the fresh aroma of tea, which was really nice. The shop itself was clean, cozy, and had a pleasant atmosphere. Luckily, there wasn't much of a line. The menu is pretty straightforward, and I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea since it seemed to be one of their popular drinks. My order came out quickly, and I really enjoyed it. the tea tasted fresh and flavorful without being overly sweet. The price was a little higher than I expected, but the quality was good. Overall, a nice experience, and I will come back to try some of their other flavors.

Great drink- jasmine tea with pistachio foam. Loved it so much that now I'm scared to get anything else everytime I go! 50% sugar is just right for me even if the recommended level is 70%. Their jasmine tea is out of this world and I usually take jasmine tea at home. Staff has always been friendly and it doesn't take too long to get your drink. It may be dependent on the day and time. Interior is pretty and looks clean. Tables and chairs available to sit but still a bit limited. Would highly recommend! Private lot with parking at the Hmart center in Edison. Takes cas and CCs , rewards program.

I've had Molly Tea once at the location in Brooklyn and was pleasantly surprised to see one open here in Edison. You can speak to a person to order or they have two kiosks. The store is brightly lit and well taken care of, it was very clean, no trash or spills in sight. After placing our order we waited maybe 5 minutes and it was ready. I got the Matcha Rose while my husband got the jasmine apple tea. We both loved our drinks. They were very light and you keep distinctly taste both flavors infused into the beverages. I feel like sometimes one may overpower another but this was the perfect balance.

Main take away: elevated teas, but not a boba shop. Don't come here expecting boba. Also not worth it if you don't like floral flavors. I honestly really enjoyed the experience here! For their soft opening, they have a BOGO deal. For every drink you buy, you get one free from their floral series. My sister and I got two drinks and two free. The drinks were very elevated without being too expensive. We got the jasmine matcha, snowy jasmine as our two main drinks. And then for our free drinks we got the peach oolong milk tea and the White Champaca Milk Tea. Believe it or not, we actually enjoyed the free drinks much better! Especially the White Champaca Milk Tea. It had such a unique flavor I had never tasted before. The jasmine snowy top was good, but I honestly couldn't really taste the jasmine in the whip cream. I'd probably just get the regular jasmine next time. I think I'd be okay without it. I did like the matcha jasmine milk tea! The matcha was bold and paired well with the jasmine tea. Service was very fast! The line moved quickly despite the bogo and the servers very were knowledgeable! I appreciate that because Hey Tea in festival plaza was a DISASTER. We didn't even get our drink after waiting for 40 minutes there. The ambience and decorations were SO cute. Pink is my favorite color so I was absolutely eating up the decorations and packaging. I do wish that the place was bigger and there was more place to sit though. Next time I think I'll just order something from their floral series. Simple but elegant flavors!

I went to the soft opening and got the classic hot jasmine milk tea with 30%sugar. The premium jasmine tea is fragrant with floral aroma and flavor. It was perfect drink for me afterwork because of its calming effects, though it contains caffeine . The scent was not overwhelming and it was a well balanced taste withe 30 %sugar. It was so good, I had the matcha jasmine with salted cheese with 50% sugar without ice the next day. It was a perfect combination of jasmine and matcha. The salted cheese was not too salty and 50 %sugar just balances the taste of the tea overall. I would definitely come back for more....

4/5 - Snowy Jasmine is my favorite drink from here - the whipped cream with the pecans makes it so much better! However, I tried the new mango drink recently and couldn't finish it because it was too sour so that was a bit disappointing :( 5/5 - Service was pretty quick but I went around 2-3pm so there was no wait or line to order. 5/5 - Ambiance is decent. The store is small like the other Molly Tea's and can get crowded near the entrance if there's a lot of people. The self kiosk and front register is near the front door.

Good Golly, Ms. Molly Tea has made its way to the Festival Plaza in Edison, NJ. My son called it...mom, believe me, one will open one right over there and he was right!! I have been a fan since my first visit at the Philly location. Soft Opening: April 6th to 9th, 2026 - 12% Off Everything - 10% Off Merch Grand Opening: April 10th to 12th, 2026 - Buy One, Get One Free - Free Magnet for the first 300 customers - Enter for a chance to win a free drink each week for a year I will make my way down the entire drink menu. Right now, my favorite is the Osmanthus Milk Tea and the Snowy Gardenia at 30% sugar. Please note that even at 50% sugar level it is really not that sweet so order at your own preference. Lots of Molly Tea busy bee workers in their cute berets churning out all the drinks incredibly fast. I interacted with a few of them and they were super sweet and professional, a solid 10/10. Some of the best customer service at any milk tea spots I have ever seen. Interior: I am not crazy about the configuration of the space. It's similar to Heytea but for some reason it feels awfully tight and narrow. The lines will most likely form outside the door around the rope.

They refuse to have any interpersonal interaction with customers. They inform the customers to use the kiosk machine instead. Cleanliness: The store is clean with no garbage or debris left on tables, chairs, floors, or near the garbage can area. Pricing: The drinks and snacks here are decent prices from $5.00 and up. Ube Coconut Vietnamese Coffee: This drink was a little different and it just did not taste great. My friend stated that he was glad he added sugar, but he felt like this drink could have been better as it was not to his liking. Mango Matcha: I have mixed feelings about this drink as it tasted a little weird. One sip it tastes a little sweet and another sip it tastes a little bitter. I think I should have stuck with some mango drink instead. Chocolate Egg Pancake: Last time we got this item it did not have any chocolate filling inside of it. It was just a regular egg pancake but chocolate looking. They perfected this with the chocolate filling inside and it definitely tastes better now. Overall: I do not think I would come out of my way just to come here to get bubble tea. If I am in this area again next time, then I may give it another try with a different drink. They should also start to communicate with their customers because some customers love to interact with people.

The menu is limited and they offer mainly Hong Kong style snacks and rice/spaghetti dishes. It is a self-serve, no tip restaurant so you'll need to either order their their kiosk machines, or there's QR codes available on the table for you to order from your phone. We ordered their slippery egg chicken rice combo with Hong Kong style milk tea with aged tangerines, a slippery egg rice with pork chop, and also baked pork chop rice with curry sauce and cheese. The slippery egg rice was on point. The eggs were silky, moist and velvety , almost custard like in texture. It was also rich and savory. I like how the chicken was lightly fried without having too much breading. They used chicken thighs so it was moist, tender and well seasoned. The fried pork chop, which was similar to pork katsu, was perfectly fried with a crispy, well seasoned crust which adhered well to the meat. The meat was juicy and succulent. The curry had a mild kick which I liked and there were also little pieces of carrots and potatoes in it. The only thing was I felt there was a little too much sauce as I felt the rice was drenched in it, which made it a little too rich for my liking. The lemon tea with aged tangerines was my favorite. The lemon tea tasted authentic. One of the best I've had including the ones I've tried in the Hong Kong style cafes in nyc. The tea flavor is intense which I can tell it's not just from a tea bag. The tea was balanced well with aged tangerines which added more citrusy and a subtle earthy flavor. The drink is bold yet refreshing. I was told they have a slushy version so I would go back to try it next time. It is self serve as I mentioned before as you will have to go get your own cutlery, plates and napkins at the table by the register. The food came out shortly after I placed my order and the staff were all very friendly. This is a good options for a quick lunch/dinner and price is very reasonable as you can get a dish plus a drink for $20 and under and you don't have to tip. I would return again for sure.

We paid full price and didn't get the discounted combo because we wanted to customize the steak temperature and sweetness of the drink. The XL Steak is described as a ribeye, but what we got was about 3.5 pieces of mystery meat full of tough gristle. We were spitting out every other bite because we literally couldn't chew through it. It honestly felt like they gave us whatever meat they had overstocked or left over. I also don't think they adjusted our milk tea. We requested 50% sweetness, but it wasn't sweet at all. It's not terrible and still drinkable, but definitely not what we expected. The steak was really bad, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Just keep in mind, there is no/limited seating inside. However, they do have an outdoor bench, but it is unusable based on how cold jersey gets. It's more of a grab and go situation. Inside there's a lot of flavors and options, and they do bubble tea very well. There's different types of cheese, foams, flavoring, and aesthetic colors and cups. Inside you can order via kiosk with all of the pictures and the menu, or you can order at the front with the servers. All the flavors are extremely delicious, and they have a lot of variety. That I don't think that you could go wrong. If you're more into fruity or classic milk tea, they have a lot of ways that you can make a match as well. The only issue is that it's on the more expensive side for bubble tea, with a cup being around seven dollars. But for New Jersey, those are kind of typical pricing for Boba.
