Found this place while I was yelping dessert places near Edison and I must say I'm kind of impressed by the whole "mango" concept and varieties they have. It does look weird from outside since its in the h-mart shopping center but the interior is pretty classy. Definitely a place to hangout with friends or have a casual date. Since it was our first time we didn't want to experiment too much so went with mango sundae (quantity is sufficient to share with someone) and mango crepe layered cake. Loved the sundae it was the perfect sweetness and texture didn't feel like the mango was too over powering so definitely a hit for us. However, the crepe was a huge disappointment as we were expecting it to have mango filling but instead it was too blend and didn't seem to be fresh at all. Reason for giving 3 stars is mainly because the crepe cake was a fail and when we arrived no one really sat us down or told us how we could ordered until we made an eye contact with the server so she could take our order. It wasn't busy at all since it was in the afternoon and I'm not sure if that is normal but all in all it was a good experience. Will be back to try other things from the menu especially the mango pancake and sago sundae. read more

I've been lucky the last two times I came here as I didn't have to wait very long to be seated with a larger group, but I can see this place being overly packed on the weekends and take out may be your best option. I'm not normally a fan of anything slushy like in texture but everything I've tried has been so good! The first time I tried a dessert with snow white juice and black rice and the second time I tried the green tea with red bean and black rice. Both really hit the spot! If you're looking for a good dessert made with matcha and fruit this is the place to go. They have a good assortment of different choices, and it's always full, which can be a minus. The service is decent, but I didn't find anything too mind-blowing, so the three star rating is based on everything that's around bring more enticing. If this place was located elsewhere, it'd shine more, but there is so much good food in that little square, we usually end up getting our calories from somewhere else. Reading the other reviews I convinced my boyfriend to stop by in the afternoon so it wouldn't be busy. When we arrived only a few tables were occupied and there was only one employee on the floor serving and doing take out orders. We were quickly seated, our order was taken within a few minutes, and we had our desserts just as quickly. We both chose the A.06 which is Mango juice with mango ice cream, mango chunks, and glutinous rice balls. I found it quite filling and was glad that I hadn't eaten before...I was actually unable to finish it all, but the beau was happy to polish it off for me. We both enjoyed it and I was left curious about trying something else. The only thing I would comment on was, as others noted, is that the QPR is a bit unbalanced. Omg. Where do I start! What a wonderful cute and quaint establishment. This was my first time here after many of my co-workers bragged about how good the desserts are. Being I was in the area I took the opportunity to try out some of their delights. I had the waffle ice cream sandwich and the mango crêpe cake. Both were delicious and fresh. All their desserts and ice cream are home made and you can taste the quality. The service was fast and professional. Very comfortable atmosphere with amazing music for your listening pleasure. This is a Chinese establishment so I was surprised to say the least when they had Drake playing!! They definitely received points just for the music choices alone! Been coming here about once a week or so for months now, and wanted to weigh in. Their service can be slow but it is so worth the wait. Any mango lover or Taiwanese dessert lover will feel at home here. I love their seasonals and the wide spread of additional fruit selections. Just discovered this place in Edison, and I can't get enough of it! So much so, that I even went two days in a row! We've tried the Combo A, which has: the Snow White mango juice with sago, pomelo, and mango ice cream; the mango juice with glutinous rice ball and mango ice cream; and two "mango pancakes". We also tried the mango Mille crepe, the Snow White mango slush-o, and the mango strawberry slush-o. Our favorites are definitely the Snow White mango slush-o and the mango pancakes. Although the Snow White mango slush-o isn't really like a slushy since it's not icy, it has a great fresh mango purée with coconut cream and some pudding at the bottom for texture. It reminds me of a thicker bubble tea style drink, but with fresh fruit! You can also add things like basil seeds or bubbles into it if you want more texture in the drink. The mango pancakes are interesting because they are definitely not pancakes, but they are delicious! They have a piece of fresh mango on the bottom, a whipped meringue on top, and wrapped in a soy sheet to keep it all together. It's not too sweet, and the meringue is fluffy and just melts in your mouth. It's a pretty small space, and they have a waiting area on the left side of the store that can't be used as actual tables which seems like a waste of potential seating. But, if you are looking for a cute dessert spot, this is definitely a solid option (especially if you love mangos). read more

I have to say ordering a simple mango drink from here while doing some school work would be best suited on days where this place isn't so busy. The taste of the food is quite bland. But the quality of the mango isn't questionable. Today I'm eating here with my aunt and her kids. We order 3 tiny mango ice cream dishes and one mango thousand crepe cake. The only thing that reached my sweet tooth expectation was the crepe cake but I can't say it was sweet. The cream was great but it was a "mango" crepe cake and I couldn't really taste the mango. The fruit itself was surely delicious but one of my cousins chose half mango and half strawberry ice cream dish. The strawberries was quite sour and not really appetizing. The flavor of all of the food for me was really a 2.7/5. But if you are here for a small drink it will probably be for the best. Love this place for dessert! The menu is huge and there are a lot of things to pick from! The interior decor is really nice and super cute! Loved everything we got, especially the mango Mochi! It's not like the Mochi you buy at supermarkets or have at restaurants for dessert, it's the real thing! The green tea crepe cake was good, very light and the mango juice with the rice balls and mango ice cream was my favorite. The waffle was alright, a little hard, nothing too amazing. Tasty Dessert. Tragically bad service. Came here Saturday night with some friends. Was told there would be an hour wait to sit down and have dessert. Then we were told it would be 20 minutes if we split our group. Ok, that's fine, we'll split ourselves between 2 tables. First table orders their food/drinks within 10 minutes. It's a good 15-20 before a waiter comes by and gets our order. Table 1 gets their food/drinks and at the same time, a waitress comes by to ask if we've ordered (bad sign #1). We kindly remind her we've already ordered. Another 20 minutes goes by when yet another waitress comes by to ask if we've ordered (bad sign #2). At this point, the first table has finished their food/drinks and is waiting for their check. Keep in mind, 45 min to an hour had passed by. Our desserts slowly start to trickle in, at which point the waiter tells us that one of our orders is no longer available. Another 20-30 minutes pass before they bring out the substitute dessert. By this time, we've been at Mango Mango for about an hour and a half. We were ready to walk out when the last dessert magically appeared a minute later. It's such a disappointment considering that the food/drinks were delicious, but prepare yourself to wait and deal with a charlie foxtrot in terms of service/coordination. read more

This place is conveniently located near the Hmart, so we decided to drop by and try it out. First complaint was that service was incredibly slow. It took us 30 minutes to get 2 little ice creams scoops with some mango in it. Second of all, the portions are small compared to what you pay for it. It's a tiny, disappointing cup for way more than it should be worth. It seems like you're paying for the environment and presentation rather than the actual dessert itself. I am not one to write a bad comment for any service but this place. This place is well decorated but service is shit. When we first went in you can basically just go seat yourself because the waiter will not acknowledge you because they are on their phones. Then we waited 30 mins with no water no service. When they finally see you and take your order 30mins more wait for ice cream!! After that no one gives you the bill or takes the bill. This would be a little okay if the place was busy, but it wasn't it was empty. Then have the nerve to as for a tip. After we explained to them why they didn't get one. Save your time DO NOT GO THERE! DONT waste your money on a $7 cup of ice cream with less then 1 scoop. I never been so angry at a place before but they did it. read more

First off, there's no doubt about the food being amazing. I had the green tea crepe, green tea icecream, and sampled the white fruit icecream with herbal jelly. 5/5 on all the items for sure! However like any good food joint that has high stars, quality of food isn't enough to sustain a high rating. Customer satisfaction also comes from the environment and the quality of service factors into what a high review should be. Unfortunately as great as the food was, I was VERY disappointed in the customer service from Mango Mango's employees. First off, I was a new customer who had questions about the menu and the guy working at the cash register didn't even make eye contact or look at me while trying to converse with me. To me, it seemed like he didn't care or just disrespectful. The guy even threw my credit card on the counter instead of handing it over to me. Just couldn't help but feel annoyed. Second, I ordered cake and icecream, I don't know if they were baking fresh cake or hand making icecream, but I was shocked at how long it took for the food to come out. (28mins to be exact). When we were seated, the employee didn't even clean the table, so we were seated in a table with a mountain of dirty dishes from the previous customer. Like I said, food was great, but customer service could definitely improve.
