In the past years I've experienced significant events that I think led to "weight gain", but it wasn't normal weight and not where I carry my weight. A conversation with my acupuncturist led me to begin searching for an MLD practitioner. I've had craniosacral therapy in the past, so am familiar with the concept that an extremely light touch can yield big results. It's been less than 24 hours since my 1st treatment, and I can tell you she got things moving again. I will be booking my next appointment shortly and will follow up with results. She was gentle with my body as I am 33 weeks pregnant, but kept checking in about the level of pressure which I appreciated. If it wasn't a massage where you senses are heightened due to having your head down and eyes closed, these sounds might not have bothered me, but they were interruptions that got in the way of me completely relaxing. I would have loved to go back because the massage itself was very good, but I don't want to deal with the negatives mentioned above again.

While waiting, I noticed several signs stating they didn't provide sexual services and that police could inspect the rooms at any time, which gave me really weird vibes. When the masseuse finally began, her technique involved pinching and a weird rapid pressing motion that was just awful. The last 20 minutes of the massage was low effort. I was quite annoyed by the end of it and wanted to be over with it. Despite the poor experience, I still opted to give her a 20% tip and she had the audacity to be upset with the amount and asked for more. I was shocked but stood firm and refused to give more despite her trying to "negotiate" her tip multiple times. She finally processed the tip amount I had decided, and I left. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this place.
