Second time trying this place, It's very easy to make appointments based on my schedule. The place is very neat and clean. I had a two hours SPA day today, with one hydration facial following a whole body lymph drainage. Facial is very comfortable I fell asleep half way. But I did remember getting my blackhead cleaned then the mask in the end. The lymph drainage is not for everyone if you are ticklish they have a period of time just focusing massaging the lymph nodes under the armpit. I also chose to have the moving cupping for detox. Came here yesterday while I was waiting on my car to be repaired. I will say that it is very conveniently located, especially if you are having car repair work done. The massage itself was fine, if forgettable. At one point my therapist left midway without a word, presumably to answer the door which jangled open, then returned a little while later. No explanation, no apology, no nothing. It was quiet in the private room, with a comfortable heated table, and soft, firm pressure. While I am not opposed to being asked to pay for the service upfront, as many in this town and this business do exactly that, I am opposed to being asked for a $20 tip for a 1 hr service which was $60. For the mathematically challenged, thats 30% on top of the service fee for a total of $80. I feel that I am a pretty generous tipper, and firmly pointed out that $12 is 20% of the service cost and that was what I was comfortable paying. There was some pushback, but I stood my ground. She then asked me to round up to $13 since the credit card fees would cut into the total cost, which I did agree to, but in general I think that's nonsense. If the cost of your service and tips need to be bumped up to allow for credit card fees, then maybe the price list should reflect a higher price so that customers are not haggling over price after a service was performed. Sure, I don't mind a little bargaining when purchasing say a car or a house, but certainly not retail or services. Other reviewers are correct in that you might be bullied into leaving a tip and more than you were planning to spend. A tip is OPTIONAL but not required. That said, if you can't tip for a service, maybe you shouldn't be having that service This spa may not be my first choice going forward, but it's okay, and I may visit again. Worst spa experience I've ever encountered. The whole experience was awkward, and not even slightly relaxing. The "massage" wasn't even a massage, she just rubbed my body as quick as she could. Everything was rushed and aggressive. I scheduled a body scrub exfoliation and they put me in a bathroom next to a toilet on a flat tub and was very quickly wiped down.
