To make matters worse, they said they couldn't turn the system back on and that we might have to wait until Monday for a full system replacement. This all happened on the Wednesday before the Fourth of July, with temperatures well into the triple digits. We have five kids and two dogs, and the thought of going several days without air conditioning was overwhelming. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion and called Airtime Cooling & Heating. Jacob came out, started his own evaluation without us telling him what the first company had diagnosed, and quickly impressed us. He simply turned the system back on, ran his own diagnostics, and gave us his honest opinion. His conclusion was completely different--our system did not need to be replaced. Not only did he get our AC running again, but he also took the time to explain what he believed had happened, what to watch for if it occurred again, and even walked us through how to troubleshoot it ourselves. That kind of honesty, education, and customer service is incredibly rare. Instead of facing what could have been a very expensive and unnecessary replacement, we paid for a diagnostic visit, got our AC back, and gained confidence in our system. Because of this experience, we've switched from our previous HVAC company to Airtime Cooling & Heating for all of our future maintenance and service. If Jacob is any indication of the quality of their technicians, they have earned a customer for life. Jacob was truly a 10 out of 10. An add on service I requested upon his arrival was also done at a fair price and with quality workmanship. Although I was given some bad news about my AC unit it wasn't unexpected and at absolutely no time did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. They were very patient and listened to my concerns as I had just been ripped off by a different competing place who had been out three times including charging us for coolant when it was spot on obvious there was corrosion and a leak (I do not recommend Simply The Best). Jason provided the quote and the install was done within a few days which is excellent response time considering I was in a jam and summer is here. Installers were very professional and even had the job done under the quoted time frame and did preventative maintenance on the other existing unit. Recommended. Straight forward, friendly and professional and don't play games with you like some of the other guys. We need integrity living in Arizona with the heat and I can say based on my experience, Northern Air provides exactly that! Thanks again and will use in the future for all cooling and heating needs!

I initially decided in Dukes of Air in May 2016 after our…read morecondo air unit bit the dust during a hot memorial weekend and the only online venue back then that was avail was Yelp- no Nextdoor, no Reddit... even though this company was bought out- I'm sure several of the original techs still are there doing the same crappy work-- see photos! I had them come out YEAR after YEAR and each time the tech would complain about what the last did. Aside from making a disgusting mess with all of the black tar over my closet room, the front and back concrete patio- they did a Jerry Rig Each and every time! And they stripped the screws and bolts badly. This hvac co. came out for biannual maintenance check -- which obviously doesn't include removal and cleaning of blower wheel and housing, nor does it include cleaning out the water outflow drainage tube that collects foliage debris; which then cause water backup prompting another service call. Btw. I promptly dumped the monthly service fee to get two "system checks" a year because it seems like once they find something- it's due to the last years of other techs doing absolutely nothing! They're all young and lazy looking to make a quick buck and likely forced by the corporate man to sell sell service repair upsell!! I'm not looking over their shoulder step by step and asking what are you doing, what does this mean? But I will for sure moving forward!! I keep my air at 77 and not lower, so there's not a huge stress. They noted a slow leak last February and suggested a leak test. I didn't do it at the time since he said it was slow. Two guys come out, in their separate top of the line Mercedes vehicles, and tell me I need my coil replaced; which is covered under warranty and scared me into schedule replacement for refrigeration leak and coil replacement along with the blower wheel cleaned, because, as the tech said look at what your breathing in (photo). No I am not - that's why there's a filter used inside, but still-well my bi yearly maintenance should include that cleaning!! And why wasn't this brought to my attention in the previous years??!Lazy arses. Since the coil is covered under warranty I was quoted 4 hours labor, coils replacement and fan cleaned and refrigerant at $$$2400!! The next company I used --Larson, a certified Trane dealer- said No leak!! Don't use them either, a grand less as they said no coil leak! But $1550 for refrigerant you can get on FB for free mixed with the new stuff at $15 a lbs and you mark up it up! I'm telling you these dumb techs don't know squat. Then how the heck did refrigerant leak in an enclosed system?? Hey Dukes if Air-/IF the coil is covered under warranty then why am I being charged for it?? This is with my gold member discount since they have serviced my unit exclusively since day one. If it is a slow leak why would the coil need to be replaced? The guy last Feb said it could wait until next year, but the guys today said that it could cause my compressor to blow! Yet my neighbors have their original unit from 30 yrs ago still working?? And-- it was very obvious that they both had to return to the vehicle to come up with a price each time. It was obvious one lead sales guy was teaching a newer guy how to reel the money in for repairs to be done as a quick fix for a couple grand-NOT getting to the root cause. 1) Bad recommendation to use Trane 2) Crap duct work done from day one 3) Crooked, Dumb or Lazy techs thereafter Lastly, the 5 stars are from friends and family members of the hvac techs and owners- it's ALL BS!! And use ai to do your homework and get at least 7 quotes! Find an individual or small business and let these big companies rip off Richie poos!

Tried breakers, etc. Called and they had a guy out to my place within 45 minutes on a Sunday. Now that is fast! Travis did an excellent job. Turns out a wire had fried. Got me back up and running. It was already up to 82 degrees (see photo), so it was not comfortable. It's now blowing cold air again. Thankfully, I won't have to go to the hotel tonight. Keep up the great work guys!

It's been a ride and they've been amazing So TL:DR you can trust them and they have good people and care about you. If you want to read on I encourage you to do so. 3-4 weeks ago A/C goes out during that 4 day stretch of 120 degrees. I called 7-8 answering services at 3 am when I realized it was not just an old unit struggling but a major issue. First company returned my call at 7ish. Can't fit me in until Tuesday (it's Friday). Second company to return my call, Valleywide. First gentleman who showed up diagnosed the issue quickly and made sure to get Jimmy out that day to take a second look. Despite the fact the part that needed replacing is obsolete, they tried to find the part and were unable to do so. Jimmy shows up around 4. House is now 93 degrees. Takes a second look and unfortunately I need a new unit and condenser. I'm expecting the worst. Whatever the estimate is I'm going to say yes and he knows it. I'm expecting 10-12k. Jimmy says he can get me a unit that was reserved for another install next week but it can wait because they need more than one unit anyways and redirects that last unit to me. Oh and it's significantly less than I anticipated to pay. Couple days later Freddie and his team, including his son, show up exactly when they said they would. Freddie is one of the nicest guys I've met. His team gets to work, gives me an estimate of when they'll be done (had plans with my kids that were time sensitive). They go to work uninstalling a very old unit, piece by piece literally ripping metal apart because the rivets weren't easily removable. We get close to the ETA he had given me and they were behind. Instead of having to adjust plans to have someone else pick up my kids, he calls in reinforcements and they get the job done in time. Fast forward a few weeks. I call at 6:30 am and talk to the gal, live person, to schedule my follow up appointment for next Wednesday. Same day, I notice some moisture when I come home from work and near where I think the unit is in the attic. I call in to the office at 5:30pm and the amazing lady (same one I'd spoken to 11 hours earlier) who must work 70 hours a week answers the phone. I tell her the issue and she says we'll get someone out there tomorrow. 20 minutes later I get a call and she says no chance we're letting that go. We'll get someone out tonight. An hour later, there's a truck in my driveway and Freddie and his supervisor are there because that was their job originally and in their words, if there's moisture we're not waiting until tomorrow. They went into the attic and literally swam through blown in insulation to find a leak caused, most likely by the recent humidity and a new more efficient unit, 15 feet away from the work they'd done. Fixed the leak in the pvc. And when I reached for my wallet to pay them a service fee or parts and labor fee or after hours fee. They refused. Despite the fact that they had nothing to do with the leak. And gave me advice on cleaning up the residual moisture and assured me there wouldn't be additional issues and we got it in time. I asked for a way to reach out to their boss/president/ceo because every single person I worked with was amazing. I was refused and they said just leave a Yelp review. I wish I could do more but I hope the folks at Valleywide know how great their staff is and how happy I am they were the second group of professionals to respond when I was in need.

I purchased an AC unit from Valleywide Cooling back in July 2025 for a rental. Decided to go with them after calling around and got a bad taste in my mouth with other companies. Margret (the office lady) was wonderful. She is very friendly, patient, understanding and clear. Her follow up with details was beyond expected. Jimmy the tech was very patient in explaining to me what is being done. And very patient and nice with my many many calls and questions. He constantly kept me in loop with updates. And was very genuine with his knowledge and didn't try to upsale. And they were very good with a free follow up appt 5 months later to make sure the heating part was working correctly. They took alot of stress off my overwhelming task of an AC replacement. I highly recommend them.
