I went the other day with my mom to look at a specific car i saw online, I went and test drove it and asked them to show me estimated payments with my credit (which isn't the best). We were waiting 1hr-2hrs for them to find a lender to go with my budget. When they brought out the sheet with the payment and prices they added almost 10k in fees and added a $4,000 "tax credit" to the sales price. Not to mention the price and payment sheet WASN'T FOR THE CAR I WAS ASKING ABOUT. The only way I figured out the payment and pricing was for a different car was because I asked. And when I asked the sales man (i don't remember his name) what my interest rate is for this plan he said "why do you need to know that?" LIKE WHAT. I just bought my 3rd vehicle from them, and this was the worst experience we have had here. On our other 2 cars we never had a issue which is why we went back again a few weeks ago. We took for a test drive and nothing was wrong. We signed all the papers and so far so good. We had the car running to transfer over car seats and everything as we pull out of the parking lot the car starts to shake. We didn't even get down to stapley before the car just wouldn't go anymore. So we turned around and told them the issue and he said we would have to wait until Monday but it was safe to drive. We took it home with SO MANY ISSUES. We were unable to go anywhere the rest of the weekend. I called them first thing Monday and they came a towed it back. When they picked up I was told I would hear from someone early after noon. By 3 pm still nothing so I called and tried to speak with the office manager named Mark. For 3 hours I tried to get a hold of someone and still to this day never heard a call back from Mark. Tuesday morning I called and they said the transmission needed to be replaced. And I was told they don't do a full vehicle exception they only check basic so that's why they sold me a car with a bad transmission. I was out of a. At for a week and didn't get it back until the following Friday afternoon. I had to find a way to work the whole week because they don't give rentals and they wouldn't eat me have my trade in car back until it was fixed. Rick (the Mechanic guy) was really nice but I had to reach out to him every time to get a update about my car. I don't think we will be going back due to this. I experienced my car buying with Ron. First when we walked in I was interested in a 2014 ford fusion. Ron was extremely kind and friendly when helping my family, car shop and what I wanted and what I could afford. We test drived multiple cars, but as soon as I got into the ford fusion I knew it was the car. Ideal cars typically is not one for high negotiating, so we left that night empty handed but knowing if they wanted to sale they would call us in the morning. Surely enough Ron called and offered my mom and I a very fair price and we ended up going back and purchasing the fusion. I was sooo impressed by the sales and services he helped us with. Free snacks, water and drinks as well complimentary, to waiting until the paperwork was ready. We will be coming back in when my sister needs a car! Do not purchase from here. Dale Huish is the owner and of course you can't talk to him. My son in law and Daughter purchased a car the next day it broke down they were in CA on a business trip. After taking it to a ford dealer there they found out its the transmission and had to have the car towed back plus they had to rent a vehicle to get back home. They have been given the run around for weeks. The lender called to get more documents for the loan they informed the lender that they don't have the car. The lender then backed out of the loan. I had loaned 4k for this car and its like pulling teeth to get my money back they want to add ridiculous fees. This is so unfair to a young couple trying to get on their feet. I had received feedback that this is a great place to buy a car. The overall buying experience was good, however here we are less than 90 days from when my young daughter bought her vehicle, and the motor is blown. This company says they pride themselves on the fact that they thoroughly check out the cars running capability...but now they are telling us there is nothing they can do. I put $1000 down on a car at Ideal cars in Apache junction and I had the car for 2 weeks when the AC quit working I purchased a warranty for $3000 that covers the car bumper to bumper I called the finance company and they had me make an appointment to bring the car down well I had to wait 10 days in the mean time other issue started happing with the car like a vibration in my brake peddle and the transmission started acting funny so when I took the car in to be fixed I was told I needed a new transmission new brakes and new AC $5000 in just parts well the finance company and the dealer ship were going back and forth on who was paying for what After a week with no car and no work because I use my car for work I was given a loaner car after I got the loaner the finance company started calling me to make a payment on the car I asked several times when was U getting the car back the answer I keep getting was I don't know it's being looked at I asked what had been fixed and still needed to be fixed same answer I don't know so I refused to make a payment until I got some answers so after having the loaner car for 6 days I was at a job cleaning a house when a tow truck showed up and took the loaner car and they left me at a customer house with all my cleaning supply's in there front yard this was on a Friday after 5 pm so I couldn't even get a hold of someone to find out why they took the loaner car that way and left me stranded so on Monday I finally got a hold of the finance company and I was told they reposed the car I bought that they had for the past 2 weeks for non payment at this point I only had the car For 2 weeks so how could a payment be due already so when I called the dealer ship to get my $1000 back they said I was not getting my money back so I went to Ideal cars to talk to the GM he was extremely rude and told me to leave his office I told him when he gives me back my money I'll leave he then threaten to call to call the police if I didn't leave so I kicked a chair into the wall and called a few choice names and left they totally stoled my money and the car Im not gonna sit back and let them do this it's not right and I hope nobody else buy a car from them they are dishonest and they are thief's and Mike the GM well he is an asshole and more read more

Not the greatest of Experiences with this dealership and after this one will only purchase from Private Party or a more reputable dealership. I stopped in at the Apache Junction location to view their trucks and took one out for a drive. The test driven vehicle wasn't a match and I gave salesman my price range to purchase cash out the door and what i was looking for. He advised had another unit at Main St location and gave me a ballpark price so my wife and I went directly there. We test drove the truck and liked it and had Main St salesman give us some numbers. I contacted Apache Junction salesman and told him interested in purchasing it from him as previously agreed and left for the day. The next morning I received phone call from salesman and he asked if I was interested. We discussed final numbers and I said yes and just needed to get cashiers check to take to him. He asked if I had visited Mesa location today, Saturday and I said no. I went to my credit union got cashiers check for amount agreed to and called dealer. He then advised me someone else had gone in Saturday morning and bought it but that they were a first time buyer and still waiting for an approval. Told him if they wanted my business I was ready to buy cash in hand. He said would get back to me and never did. I don't know what else to say other than this was one of the worst purchasing experiences I have ever had. Maybe was for the best and I was getting myself into a bad buy. Negative Zero Stars................this place is a joke. They have people managing the place that are rude and completely out of line. My daughter bought a car from them, this car she has financed has been back to their shop more than once. She called and called with no response. The Front end has problems, the A/C quit blowing from the vents because the blender motor got stuck on defrost, the blower motor has gone out no wand she has no A/C in Arizona where it is now between 100-110 degrees. This is not acceptable. My husband took the car up to the main location in Mesa to drop it off to have the a/c and now the alternator fixed as the alternator is going out. My husband asked to speak with the manager he got Mark. My husband told him what was going on with the car as he is a mechanic and we own an automotive shop here in Mesa. Mark told my husband if he is a professional then he should fix it himself.............why????? Because the only warranty they offer is Power train, which none of this would be covered under. So they are expecting my daughter to pay for repairs and make car payments?? On a car she just bought. Mark threatened to call the cops on my husband if he did not leave the lot. Mark was in my husband's face talking to him as if he was a dog. This is uncalled for and i pray that this review will help you and your family to stay away from this place. Many people i work with also purchased cars from this place with the same kind of problems out of them. This is not fair to us or my daughter as we will have to fix her car at our auto shop and cover the costs of parts and repairs. I went looking for a 4x4 pickup and on the phone the guy told me he had one so I drove 40 min to Mesa to find out they only had 2WD and the trucks looked in ruff shape, one had a bad paint job making it look nice on the outside sort of with some DIY rhino lining sprayed on the plastics around the wheels and bumper. The sales man was older and unmotivated to help or sell anything. He lacked knowledge and info on every truck I asked about. He left me in the parking lot in over 110 degrees for 15 min just standing there. I asked about another SUV I had seen on their website so he called the East Mesa location and told them I was on my way. It was a Nissan Xterra that he swore was an amazing vehicle in excellent condition. I get to that location 25 min later and find out it was water damaged on the inside(maybe a flood, who knows) Rust under the dash is never a good sign. Then I find out from the manager, they buy all there cars from auctions. This dealership is just looking to make a quick buck flipping cars. Tires all shot on there vehicles unlike other dealerships that always put new tires on and do better inspections. Who in there right mind buys a car with water damage especially a dealership they should know better. I would never go back and you shouldn't either. read more
