I purchased one of Haldiram's product with others and found that this product has dust and mold. I called to store # 516 931 5600 and spoke with female who stated come to their store and will refund. I asked her more than the refund, it is unhygienic to sell such products and I want to speak with supervisor. She hung up the call and never answered the phone call again. I also reported to Haldiram's and they are not responding either. The website at the Badshah Farmers Market (Quality Guaranteed) receipt ​is misleading too and doesn't work. Yelp should down this unclaimed business.

And I just recently discovered the vanilla hazelnut iced coffee from Perk-Up Coffee Xpress & the best Italian rice balls + stuffed breads from Pan Delicious. Not to mention, everyone is so friendly here, a lil pricey but all these hidden gems in one place is what I look forward to going to on Wednesdays :)

Everything is completely overpriced, which is acceptable to some degree for the convenience of picking up a few items when needed. But, they are really pushing it. My real complaint is that they are rude and don't appreciate their customers. The latest example is that I bought a loaf of bread and once I got home I noticed that the expiration date was that day. I went back expecting that they, like any competent business owner, would simply replace it. Not these guys, they rang up the new loaf and expected me to pay for it. Incredibly, they said it was my fault for not checking the date. I shop there at least twice a week but won't be going back out of principle. Maybe once they go out of business because of their attitude that they're doing the customer a favor the new owners will be better.

A lot of the regular produce and goods appear to be a bit on the pricey side of things, but, if you're in the market for those weird long skinny grapes, find them here! In this little market they also have a bakery, which looked like it churns out some pretty rocking delights. One of the shoppers in the store while I was there walked up to an associate just to rave about some jam-filled pastry he had bought and was looking to buy again. I mean, the dude was stoked. While this store will not make my go-to list or the stores I can stop at to pick-up-groceries-on-the-way-home list, it will have a place on my if-i-can't-find-it-in-my-regular-stores list. For being a smaller market, they also boast a lot of prepared foods and takeaways that can make it easy for those nights where you just can't fathom preparing dinner, again. I heard people start lining up at 7am before they open just for the organic produce. They must be selling those magic beans from the fairytale "Jack and the beanstalk" :) There are not many stalls and the vendors range from selling produce, honey, artisan breads, pies, kombucha, wines, masks, fish and craft like items. A great little market to support the local businesses around the area and catch the beautiful water views of the bay. I stopped going there even though it is only less than 5 minutes walking distance from me. I was told that Golden Earthworm's landlord sold a big package of the land, and the other farm could not find workers to come any more. Really sad. And my favorite fish stand, who used to be selling a great variety of fresh seafood and very accommodating to customers decided to retired to Florida! Really tragic for us who has been so happy for the past few years with this farmers market!

The store was clean and well-maintained. While I was walking through the aisles looking for my items, I saw a few associates, but only one of them smiled and greeted me. The cashier wasn't very friendly either; he didn't say hello and just told me my total. It was a quick stop, but the customer service could be improved.
