I left here today feeling quite let down. I prepaid for services, I am a new client, had both of my appointments set and the excitement was there ... before I walked in. The first woman I had my video visit with, and set up both of my appointments with, was great... Until she wasn't; I was lied to (but I don't know that, yet...). The morning of my appointment (again, I am a new client and paid for everything already), I get a call from the actual office in South Windsor. They are telling me their bookings got screwed up somehow and can I reschedule... Well, you can imagine how that felt. They gave me two other options, otherwise I had to wait until the following month! I felt so upset by this, how distasteful, then I just said NO I am a new client, already paid as well as having taken the day off of work. If you are calling a brand new client like this, then you can try others to reschedule. Finally get a call back, I can go later that evening (again, took the day off). Get there, ladies were wonderful at the front desk. Then I go in back, to the client rooms, and was told I was set up for only one procedure. That the other procedure I was told was happening as well (total different areas too) they could not do because that takes an hour. Ok, so did they just do this whole reschedule and had those few minutes; just decide that that's what they were going to tell me? I'm sure. Because, I had 10 units left to use, from what I already paid for and only needed 14 more of an area I wanted to do as well. I was then told no, I've already took out this amount of units so there's no time... So, now here I am, having to schedule (because apparently it was never scheduled, right?) the other procedure that I was told was happening at this appointment. My other procedure was set to happen 2 weeks after this. Now, I have to see if can swap that procedure (40 mins) out another two weeks and swap it with the other part I was told have... that procedure as now you know is an hour, there's not enough time to squeeze that in if swapping the two procedures... 20 minutes??!!! I have set this up exactly how I needed it to be, even to the last two days, to coincide with my schedule over the next couple weeks... read more

POOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT. I made a purchase for botox units on a Friday at 70 Buckland Rd, South Windsor. I changed my mind on a Monday morning requesting refund. Spoke to a Sylvia whom tried to present my case to the owner, I was never told at purchase I had 3 days to request refund. Sunday they are closed. I never signed any documents that stated this as I asked the front desk and she said "I don't have them". I was informed by Ideal Image management I would get a copy of the agreement I signed and a call back from owner, still have not received it. Like a grab your money and forget about you. I know there is protection for consumers for businesses like this. Owner- find me and make this right, you were going to inject me without giving me the agreement. THANKS! read more

Transparency. I was given a ZOOM consultation. I assumed that was done to see if people were serious. I also assumed that would be followed up by an in person consultation and it was not. My trust started to wane. I read online about one of the services they recommended without seeing my skin in person, and it was NOT appropriate for my concerns which could have been ascertained with an in person consult. This was never offered. Upon speaking to other people and further reflection, I decided to cancel my appointment. The ONLY "cancellation policy" I was informed of was a $50 charge if cancelled less than 24 hours prior. Not ONCE, did anyone say that if I changed my mind not only would I not get my 50% deposit back, but they would continue to charge me for the rest! With NO services rendered! Their "representative" called me on the phone to start the process. At every turn, I wax prompted to "scroll to the end of the page and sign".. I tried to take the time to read. I was pressured into scrolling. It should be known up front, that this is "non-refundable". That would have absolutely given me pause. In fact, I had "given pause" initially but when I asked about how long the "special" would last, I was informed that "I'm not sure. They don't give us that information. Typically it's a few days". Meanwhile at least one of those promotions is still going on. Thus the pressure. They are not forthcoming at all about their policies. They purposely omit pertinent information and use deception and high pressure tactics to get you to sign. I understand a forfeiture of a small deposit (like the $50) to prevent no-shows and last minute cancellations, but they intend to charge me FULL price for no services rendered! Predatory tactics. Given that they couldn't find me an appointment until 3 weeks later (how convenient) I'm guessing this was purposeful to prevent the cancellation within the "3 days buyer remorse" period which they claimed to me multiple times today OR it suggests they would have had no problem at all filling my spot. No loss of product, no loss of revenue. This is predatory and an unacceptable way to run a business. read more

Absolute fraud. Initial consultation sold me 8 treatments (6 during first visit and 2 during follow-up). Office claims I only purchased 6 treatments (received 4 during first visit and 2 during follow-up) and told me they could do nothing and I had to go back to individual providing consultation. After multiple calls and email attempting to contact this individual, it is clear Ideal Image has no desire to respond. Fortunately, the initial consult was recorded and has been reported to attorney general. If interested in the services provided by Ideal Image, I would advise you research one of their competitors. read more

When I called to schedule my appointment for cool sculpting (they advertise on FB and on their website that they do this), they told me they don't have anyone qualified to do that. I asked for a refund and they refused to give my money back. Their consultant charged my credit card a full amount when it was supposed to be monthly (I found that out when I looked at my credit card bill). It was $2658.75. read more

Everyone was nice however, on my way to one of my appointments they called and said I had to reschedule because my appointment was booked too soon after my first treatment... also, I signed a release form to get my before and after photos and never received them. I called and was told the manager would send them. Never got them. I went IN and they told me I had to sign a release form so I signed ANOTHER one and was told I would get them. Didn't get them, called again, didn't get them. That was in September... it will be August in a few days and I STILL never got my photos. I was informed that there was an appointment earlier but I could not be more than 10 minutes late as I would be turned away.After traveling 20 minutes and arriving 15 minutes earlier than scheduled, I was seen 40 minutes later. I do not recommend a package with ideal image. I purchased a laser hair removal package for my face with the understanding that it was lifetime, and I could come back for treatments. However, after they complete your package and you try to make a follow up visits under the lifetime policy, they do not let you schedule in advance for these appointments. They only allow a seven day window to schedule so if you cannot find an appointment within the next seven days you just have to keep calling. Anything past seven days is not available. This is unfortunate and a bait and switch. You purchase a package for thousands of dollars with the understanding that future treatments are provided. But in reality, they are not readily available. For people who work, this is seemingly difficult as you cannot schedule in advance. The providers are kind, and this is out of their control, however, the corporate office does not accommodate patients. They only care about collecting the package money and not about the patients themselves. read more

I really wish I remembered the name of the woman who administered my volbella for me last week. She was so fast, and to top it off, this was the first time I have gotten lip fillers without any bruising at all. I got the same amount that I've always gotten. My first appointment at this location got canceled the same day on site, then my rescheduled appointment got canceled again on site (mind you both appointments were on the same week). Nice enough place, the people (mostly women) were very kind and informative. I went in for a consulatiation and ended up getting a treatment, they're that good! Which in hindsight made me think...did I get a good deal? A week after I got my first treatment I heard a different promotion on the radio than the one I had received. And 3 weeks later another, and another. (I turn the station now whenever a Ideal image promo comes on) I can't argue with the results, barely any hair after just one treatment (but they force you to get 9). But till this day I wonder if I could have saved more on the thousands I just handed over. This company manipulates the prices too much and too often. I had coolsculpting treatments done to my arms and lower abdomen. During my consultation I asked numerous times and was assured that I would see results after areas were treated one time. Services were done in January and February and at my 3 month follow up it was confirms (which I already knew) that there are zero results in both areas. The APRN confirmed that the consultants are not trained and are just sales people who continue to lie to customers just to make sales. She stated it is a constant problem that the office is having. The APRN stated that I should have been told and not treated since I did not have the skin for best results with body sculpting stating she would have never provided the treatment to me because a trained professional would know that i was not going to have results based on my skin type. I have spent over $4000 and have zero results. In addition, 3 months later my right arm is still numb and has the shape of the suction still on my arm. Another thing the APRN confirmed was not normal. I was referred to a plastic surgeon due to this. I am completely disappointed that the consultant lied to me and I have wasted thousands of dollars and time that I can not get back. I will be seeking follow up at my PCP regarding my right arm. read more

So I received the ultrasound treatment with the extra treated area on my next over a month ago. I was told I'd see result with 6 months. Yeah the results are my skin below my chin is sagging so much I'm 39 and was just starting to get lose skin after losing 20'lbs and I was the only one that noticed and now it looks disgusting and I'm freaking out. The area is still sore and sensitive. I can't believe they ruined my chin area and I may need plastic surgery to tighten the lose skin. I will definitely need professional help with this! Short story: Wouldn't recommend it to my WORST enemies. Unprofessional. I was treated like garbage or better yet a dog on a leash. DO NOT GO. I should've listened to all of the bad reviews and complaints. Google " ideal image" complaints and see for yourself. Long story: I came in to get laser hair removal for my upper neck and jaw line (I have some hair on my lower chin which is considered jawline to them). Tammy made me a contract for upper neck and chin instead and the day of my first appointment (mind you I drove an hour to the location) I came in excited for my first session. I was taken to the back room (where they do the laser) the person who was supposed to do the laser on me asked me what we were doing today and I showed her the areas I needed to get done and she immediately told me that my contract needs to be changed and it shouldn't have been chin but jawline instead and she couldn't go through with the appointment until I fix it with Tammy. I go back to Tammy and she makes me a whole new contract by then the room was occupied and I had to reschedule. I came in a second time and I had mentioned that I was dealing with problems on my card and they'd have to wait for a couple more days before they could process the second monthly payment. They refused to do anything on me even though I had a down payment and a first month payment and I didn't get ANYTHING done yet which is completely their fault. At that point I asked for a refund and Tammy kept telling me that they do not refund. I asked to speak to the location manager but Tammy said her location manager is not around and she would call me back on Monday or Tuesday of the following week. Monday comes and goes then Tuesday comes and almost goes. I called them at 5pm asking to speak to the location manager they told me she wasn't available. This is when I asked for the contact information for the regional manager and some how by miracle they transfer me to the location manger. I explained the situation to Nicole (location manager) I told her they have treated me like garbage and her response was "I apologize we don't mean to make you feel that way" REALLY? maybe you should try a little harder not to waste my time and my energy. Driving 4 hours in total and not getting anything for it. The day of my second appointment they kept sending me these automated text messages of how excited they were to see me. I believe I should've been at least called if you're unable to take me due to a payment. LET ME KNOW "HEY WE CANT SEE YOU TODAY BECAUSE THE PAYMENT FOR THE SECOND MONTH HASN'T PROCESSED AND WE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ALREADY PUT A DOWN PAYMENT AND A FIRST MONTH PAYMENT. WE APOLOGIZE BUT WE CANT TAKE YOU TODAY. HOWEVER WE CAN CALL YOU TO RESCHEDULE ONCE WE RECEIVE PAYMENT" would that have been too hard on you? A huge business with multiple locations all over the country and you can't do the simplest tasks. Why on earth why I be comfortable to let you lay a finger on me? I wouldn't. read more

I don't even know where to start with this business. Dealing with them is excruciating. Either they're not training staff properly in their practices or the staff just doesn't give a damn. However I do believe they're just not training or clueing in the offices to what's happening and their services. I could just keep going on with complaints about them and the struggle dealing with them but it would take all day. I will definitely be looking for somewhere else to go, I have tried to be patient with them since 2019 but they're a joke. No one ever gets back to you when they say they're going to. And then when you finally do get through to them they act like you never had questions in the first place. I am extremely frustrated in their business practices. The facility was spotless, and the people were really nice. my issue was with their pricing. Several times during my consultation, I was told I would "pay for 5 visits, and receive 4 maintenance visits free" but when push came to shove, pricing was based on 9 visits - and discounted thereafter. Seems to me pricing should have been based on the 5 visits I was told I would pay for - and THEN discounted. I feel like it was somewhere between a bait-and-switch and false-advertising. read more

I had been going here for quite awhile. Nice people for the most part, however....It's shady. The last time I went they quoted me over $600 for the Botox treatment I normally spent no more than $400 on every other time. Same areas same amount. When I questioned it the girl walked out of the room, went to the desk... and all I heard was a lot of whispering. She came back and said "Well you got the discount last time.....I can give it to you this time...if you want." If I WANT?? No I want to spend an extra $200 for no reason what so ever. Really? On top of that I had been paying the same amt per unit every time for years. I knew it was the last time I'd be going there. I also know that they dilute their product. Never in all the time I had been going did they open the product in front of me. Always left the room and came back with syringes. I realized this when they had talked me into dysport instead of Botox. 1 month later...I had ZERO results. I called (which I never do) and went back in. They had the nerve to charge me $300 to touch up with Botox. I told my new place about what they did and the owner said "Oh hell no....We would have done it all over at no cost." My new place did dysport last time and it worked perfect. They unseal product and fill syringe right in front of you. Not to mention I was in and out 15 min tops. Ideal Image I was spending 45 to 1hr sometimes more. I think it's just to make you feel like your getting your $ worth. It's really ridiculous. The paper you have to sign I always felt like I was buying a car. I'm not kidding. Unnecessary....but I guess if you're screwing people you have to cover yourself thoroughly when they come back complaining. read more

Never been so shocked in a place like this. I dealt with an extremely rude, condescending representative of the company. I was told that I should "try clean eating and a diet and exercise" instead of coolsculpting, and I was told that in a way that I may have never heard of those things before in my life. Funny, went somewhere else that week and were happy to sign me up for coolsculpting, which works great for me (have done it in the past as well) and the coolsculpting I did a few months ago wound up working very well, I had excellent results. Losing over an inch of stubborn fat in each area. Funny, since being an ideal candidate, being within 20 pounds of target weight (at time of treatment, now within 7 pounds a few months later) they sure shouldn't have been so rude as well as turn away the business. The way I was treated will make me NEVER go there for anything. Considering doing one more round in the future if I feel it's needed. Coolsculpting is a great thing to do, and you should get it anywhere but here. If they didn't consider me a candidate, they could have also simply said so, without being so rude about it. PS- I have heard of diet, clean eating and exercise, not something foreign to me :) read more

I had done several areas of laser hair removal at my medspa, but did not get a great result. As a last ditch effort, I wanted to try Ideal Image since they use a different type of laser. I asked to be quoted for four areas using their standard price and the promotional price - it was "buy one area, get one free". I decided to hold off until cooler weather came around. I recently called back to have the areas re-quoted since the new promotion was "buy one area, get one 50% off". She said their prices have gone up "significantly". It's not as if years had gone by since my initial consultation. They quoted me $12k+ for those four areas and that's WITH 50% off! That's nearly three times the initial quote - granted they were under different promotions, but the new price is impossible. I'm anything but a newbie when it comes to LHR, medspa services, etc. This was outrageous. I'll happily look elsewhere! Not to mention, this location burned my friend's leg leaving a permanent scar. She did however get great results otherwise. Edit: As a follow up to the Ideal Image's reply below, this has nothing to do with needing a payment plan and everything to do with overpriced services. This location IS clean and the staff IS extremely friendly, I will give them that, however, the laser hair removal process at Ideal Image is NOT 5 star worthy, in my opinion. I began treatments in 2012 and have recently been cut off in 2017 from receiving any more. I know this seems like a very long time to receive treatment, but I had 2 kids during these five years, so treatments ceased during my pregnancies and at least 6 weeks postpartum for each. The treatments WERE working, they were just taking a bit longer because of my extremely hairy conditions. When I went to this location for the sales meeting they sold me by saying "thick, dark hair works the best!" This may be true, but if you have A LOT of thick dark hair like I do, be prepared to not receive enough treatments to eliminate them. You will likely receive additional treatments, as did I, but at a point, they will implement an additional fee $$ if you want to continue. Um, didnt I already spend over $1000 for hair removal in 2012 when you told me this would work the best on me and soon (ha! soon, so funny when I look back at that now)? When I asked them for the latest extension, they told me I needed to pay additional money because I had already received a lot of extra treatments and I did not have enough dark, thick hairs to justify needing more treatments. I wish I could post the photos of my upper lip and arm pit I took today (I didn't bother with my bikini :)) so you could be the judge, but I do not see how to upload them. Just trust me, I still have VERY dark, thick hair that I need to constantly shave. Wasn't spending that $1000+ supposed to mean I didn't have to bother shaving anymore?? Hum... just sayin! read more
