Ordered item through amazon and they wont refund or return item that didn't fit. They claim item used after being returned to them because it was to small. Item was a gift and wasn't used . Claim they have a return policy but i never saw any of that in fact thought I was buying from Amazon but actually was from an outside seller and my daughter says they weren't real but knock offs. I called planning to buy a complete.i have called 3 or 4 other shops and said how much for a complete they immediately would say oh and give me a price. When i called this store I had to explain what a complete was and spell out complete skateboard. I have shopped at this shop since 2007 when they were on beach blvd. Never had a bad experience but after that call I wont be coming back again why drive out to a shop that cant tell you if they have what your looking for I hope the owners figure this out because if that call is anything to show how there customer service is I am good without it read more

5 stars for Identity Boardshop! It is a small shop but filled with friendly helpful people. I have visited many times and never had a bad experience. Sometimes i go in to check out their lil outdoor sale selection. Sometimes I need grip or bearings. I bought a board here once. They always acknowledge your existence and ask if you need anything. Every experience was lovely. Some places can be intimidating or just a bit cold..not this one. Thanks for always being awesome! read more

I came here a year ago to customize my longboard (skateboard) and as I headed to the back towards the skateboard stuff I wasn't greeted. I didn't think much of it and I just looked around for the stuff that I needed on my list. When i found all of my stuff I clearly glanced over to the front to make known that I was ready to be helped. The two teens saw me and were so into their conversation that they just ignored my looks. I just sat there looking at them waiting to see if they wanted my service. After 10mins I was amazed at how terrible the service was and how into their gossip they were in that I decided to just stare at them as I walked up to them. I didn't say a word and wanted to see if they'd say "are you ready? do you need help?" but nothing. I interrupted their conversation and asked for assistance. Finally a nice dude came out from the back and they continued their gossip. I bought my stuff and vowed never to come back. And I never did. Would I come back: F*ck NOOO! read more

Well, I read the reviews but decided to go here anyway seeing as how they are right around the corner. I was pleasantly greeted from the back of what turned out to be a very large store as soon as I walked in. Becky made it to the front to help me in no time and immediately directed me to the wheels I was looking for for my son. I completed my purchase and then she agreed to hold them so my son could pick them up before closing. All in all, a very good experience. Maybe it's new management? This store is full of great clothing, shoes, and skate gear. They carry brands ranging from Volcom and Kr3w to LRG RVCA and Obey.The staff is great and friendly, you feel more as a friend than just a customer. They are all knowledgeable and help out as much as they can. read more

I used to come to this shop all the time. I would pick up clothes all the time, shirts, long sleeved flannel shirts, decent shoes, browse the Nixon watches, this shop has it all and also stocks skateboards and they'll put your deck together as well. I used to like this place... I can in here about a week ago, again looking for a shirt to wear while I go hang out with my friends..I didn't even get a hello when I walked in...there was no one at the front counter because all the employees decided that helping a kid with a skateboard issue was more important than manning the register or greeting customers..that bothered me a bit....okay whatever, I'll go check out the shoes, I liked a pair, picked up a shoe and turned to the employees to try to get one of them to help me out, I stood there with a shoe in my hand and no luck with anyone of them helping out a customer who is helping them pay their bills... I continued through the shop just to see if they would at least bother to say hi or if I needed help but no luck, another couple of kids were at the register waiting to be helped but they had to wait also while an employee from the back room had to come out and yell at the younger kids to help them out and stop with the skateboards, he was clearly upset that they weren't helping out. Point of story : this shop has a lot of clothes for men women boys and girls, and carries watches and accessories but the customer service is definitely lacking and with people being more conscious about their money, I say go spend it elsewhere. read more

ID boardshop actually does a good job at customer service at this location (which is rare at skateshops). This shop brings you a fairly good selection of shoes, boards, and clothing. When my friends can't get me the stuff I need, this is my default shop that I end up at, it's local, the crew is friendly and it's a fun place away from the malls to peruse the goods. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Identity for well over 10 year and I've got to say its one of the BEST skateshops around. Every time I walk in I get a friendly greeting. They by far have one of the biggest selections of both apparel and hard goods compared to any other local shop. All the employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and their store policies make ALOT of sense compared to some "other" stores with abnormal policies. Overall if you want a store with great selection and great customer service Identity is definitely the place to shop. read more

I seriously don't know how this place stays open. Terrible service feels like they are pushing you out of the store, like why such a hurry. It seems a bit like 7-11 that "You buy now or you leave" type of feeling. Some of the things are reasonably priced, but for most of the stuff you can get better elsewhere or online for much less, or of relative cost, but without that pushy feeling you get from this place. Shop elsewhere so hopefully they close the place or maybe get new owners. read more

Bought a shirt and decided to return it the next day. I Tried the shirt on once when I bought it but just decided to return. I didn't want it anymore. Why? I just didn't. Period. You ever feel that way? LOL. Anyways, I brought it back and the girl there (sales rep) accuses me of wearing it out the night before!! Really?! I know this isn't happening. I am an adult who has a decent paying job. I think I can afford a 20 dollar shirt. Why in the world would I wear it out and bring it back to return. Then she accuses me of washing it!?! WTF?!!! Now my wife gets into it. My wife btw is a wholesale dist of blank tees. LMFAO. This girl decides to get into an argument w/ my wife about how the shirt shrank after I allegedly washed it. She goes on to say she has been in the industry for 3 years and bla bla bla. My wife is fuming mad now considering that she has been in the industry her whole career.
