Went in looking for a specific adidas shoes which Journeys had. Alejandra greeted my daughters and I when we walked in. She assisted me promptly. I was deciding between 2 styles. Alejandra gave her opinion on which pair looked best. I really liked one pair but wished it came with brown shoe laces. Another sales stylist walked by and told me she could switch out the laces to show me how they would look. GREAT TEAM WORK. Very poor experience here , the manager was very unprofessional very un helpful and not looking for a solution . We were in the line to pay and the shoes i wanted to take had a rip on the laces so i kindly ask if there's a new pair . she said it was the last one we asked if we could get new laces she offered to order the shoes but why would we go through such a hassle over a product that's right in front of me. We then say all we want is the laces is there anyway we can just trade the display laces she says no, we ask why not ? she then just goes to the back brings back clearly used and dirty laces and says " u can pick from here but i cant change it " .Then leaves and we start picking from the bin and none of them are even the same laces at this point we're annoyed and felt disrespected and left . I would recommend better training on that manager and how to handle a situation like the one we had . Would not recommend. read more

Within minutes of arriving, an employee by the name of Brent helped my daughter and I select a pair of red Vans. Unfortunately they were not in stock( size unavailable) but he helped us order them online and will be shipped to us within 7 days. Brent was extremely helpful, friendly and cordial with us. I love great customer service and Journeys was able to provide that and more. We have yet to receive fhe Vans but we did get email indicating they were en route. Thanks Brent! read more

Sent my son and his friend in the store yesterday (Saturday Feb 29) to check out some things he might want while I waited for them. He bumped into a worker, a short African American female, and before he could say excuse me, she said to him, "Excuse YOU". My son went on to say he was sorry and she tried to lecture him, a fricken customer about saying excuse me if he bumps into someone. First of all, just sell your shoes and 'help' customers, don't lecture my son on etiquette. Second, my son is actually well mannered and polite. I know that because that is what people constantly tell me everywhere we go. I'm the mom who has eyes everywhere! So I know if I send him into a store without my presence, he will be respectful, otherwise there's no way in hell I'd allow it. Last night we did not make a purchase nor will we ever be making a purchase. I'm very upset because I have worked in customer service. I would never say EXCUSE YOU to a potential customer, even if they were just a kid. I was so appalled. I almost marched in there last night to ask for the manager but decided to keep calm, think it through overnight, and then possibly respond. When I did, the guy said they didn't have my size, and rather than letting me try on what he did have or showing me something similar, he said it ran small. Since Dec. 05 20, I've ordered via email 2 pairs of shoes for my daughter for Xmas time. Unfortunately, my package was lost or stolen, I filed a missing package report and journeys said because FED ex said they delivered it they would not refund my money. They finally agreed to refund it as a store credit. It is Jan. 14 2021 and I have placed NUMEROUS phone calls and have spoken to floor managers for over a period of 2 weeks every day, every one of them have said I will get a call back or will receive a virtual card with my refund and has NOT happen. I repurchased my daughters shoes in store for her Xmas gift, but I can assure you I WILL NOT BE SHOPPING at this stores ever. They have the worst WORST customer service via phone calls and BULL @;!?,, please I can not be only person that has lost a package.
