I am not a person that writes reviews, but I knew I needed to write this. My fianceé and I were looking for engagement rings and Identity Diamonds was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Our jeweler, Ellie, did an incredible job. Especially as a same-sex couple, she made us feel comfortable, she made the process understandable and approachable, and was transparent about the whole process. We ended up doing a custom design that cost market price, no added fees for being a custom design. From the first impression to the first email, Ellie remembered us personally and genuinely seemed enthusiastic to be reconnected. Even after 30-40 emails back and forth between us and Ellie on the design, she was so patient and clearly just wanted to make sure that we got what we wanted. Not only that, I asked Ellie to send an email to my fianceé telling her that the ring production would be delayed so that I could pick up the ring and surprise her with a proposal. Ellie put so much thought into making sure that the fib was believable so I could pull of the perfect surprise proposal. They were invested and even asked for pictures of the proposal! I hate to write a bad review when I do love my engagement and wedding bands, but when it comes down to the quality of the rings I have to be honest. They aren't the best, this is the third time a diamond has fallen out. The pink sapphire on my Anastasia engagement band is consistently dull, jf I get her professionally cleaned she'll glow for about a week but it's something I constantly have to keep up. The rings are gorgeous but unless you live near the shop and have easy access to the store, I wouldn't recommend this shop. read more

The owner, Amelie, was exceptionally sweet and helpful! My boyfriend & I wandered in to take a look at engagement rings to get some ideas, and to see what a moissanite looks like in person - she had a few sample gemstones to compare in a showcase so we could see the different stone options. Gorgeous!! Although the bridal jewelry section in the store is fairly small, it's nice to get an idea of the quality of rings that you would receive. I would've even been happy with the prototype rings, they all felt so nice to wear & were so pretty. The website allows you to browse all designs available and to customize the ring with the flexible designs, metals, and stones, which I thought was really cool (I could spend hours playing around with the customization tool). Amelie wrote down the ring ID that we fell in love with on her business card, and was the perfect balance of a salesperson - giving us enough information without being pushy.
