Went on line on a Thursday afternoon, did ALL the paperwork for TSA pre check. Got an appointment at this location for Friday morning. Took the documents I need along with a credit card in my name to pay. Showed up 15 minutes early. Lots of parking available. Walked in checked in got processed, fingerprinted, in and out in 10-15 minutes. Got an email Saturday morning that I was approved!!! TSA pre check here I come. Place is located right off the freeway. Plenty of parking out front. Walked in and the place was clean and had places to sit. Place wasn't very busy thank goodness. We arrived 30 minutes early and they still took us without wait. Only issue is they couldn't find my appointment even though I had the paper showing my confirmed appointment. They were kind enough to take me back and figure it out. The entire process to get fingerprinted took less than 15 minutes. The staff were helpful and efficient. Fingerprinting costed only $10. This company deserves a -000. I have no complaints regarding the staff. What I do have a complaint about is that I have went there for fingerprinting and did not receive my results. It took me over a month to get the issue resolved and a refund. And I still had to go back and pay for another fingerprinting. I recently sent an employee on 11/26/2024 and as of 12/10/2024 she has not received the results either. I tried to call customer service a few times and was unable to reach a live person. The system has too many prompts and it automatically makes you choose prompts where you cannot reach a live person. I don't know who owns this company, but you need to do better. You have contracts with many states and millions of dollars. Its ridiculous that you cannot hire a great IT team from overseas to help you. Service: A There's a sign-in sheet on the desk when you enter. No one really acknowledged me, but I didn't mind since I was seen in a timely manner (about 2 minutes past my appointment time). Just be sure to tick the correct box for which service you're there for so you don't end up getting stuck waiting longer. Don't let the crowded waiting room scare you away either. After receiving an email to go ahead and schedule my appointment, I found this location was open on Saturdays and booked-a plus for those who work 9 to 5 jobs like me during the weekday. Located in the Alec shopping center off Main, this place is easy to find. Signage is nice and big from a far to prepare your turn into the lot and locating the suite is just as easy too as signage above each suite is just as clear and big. Upon entering, you sign in and wait to be called back to the counter with your ID and form of payment. Note that you can only use credit cards, but when you book online, that information is emphasized on the confirmation page. Also noted on the confirmation page is for you to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. Don't fret if the lobby is filled with people. They also do TSA appointments here too, so they're not running behind. The lady I had was very kind and gave me directives on what to do as she captured my fingerprints. We even had a conversation as she did it for she told me she had been fingerprinting people for 15 years. I was back in my car in record time-10 minutes after appointment which was the time estimated on my reservation confirmation. Location is nice and clean and most people were wearing their masks and trying to social distance as much as possible. As much as I've been catching flights and not feelings, it only made sense for me to sign up for TSA PreCheck. I went online and made an appointment as prompted. Next step was to come to one of their vendors to show your documents and take finger prints. I came with what I thought was proper documentation but found out I didn't have a proper birth certificate, the same one I've been using all my life. I had to get one from my state of birth and that took about a week. I was told I didn't have to make an appointment and just come in since they keep all my info for 120 days. I came back and waited close to 2 hours to get processed. The staff was just going through the motions and wasn't giving much info as to why we were waiting so long. I'm applying for a title agent's license in Florida, and part of the process is getting fingerprinted for the Department of Financial Services. They contract through a company called IdentoGO, and there is ONE location in the state of North Carolina, way up on the north side of Charlotte. I took time out of my work day to drive up there for my appointment, and I'm standing in line at the check-in window behind a man who'd driven all the way from Raleigh to get his fingerprints done. They refused to let him in because he didn't have a face mask. They also don't include anything about needing a face mask in their appointment conformations. So, he's standing there arguing with them because he drove 3 hours to get to this appointment, and even offered to go to Walgreens and buy a mask. But they told him if he leaves and doesn't keep his current appointment time, he can't come back but rather will need to reschedule for another day. The guy was furious, and I don't blame him. Then the lady looks past him at me, and says, "Have you checked in yet?" and I said, "No." She asked, "Where's your mask?" and I told her that I don't have one, wasn't informed that I needed one, and that there's no mandates for masks anyway so why the hell are we still playing this game? I left and called the 800-number for the main IdentoGO headquarters and asked why the hell they're having people drive hours to their appointments only to be turned away due to not having a mask. Located in a strip mall type place. Parking is no issue. Not the friendliest employees. There was one lady in particular, shorter silver hair, who was super grumpy and treated the guy in front of me pretty badly without reason when he asked if they had a service they apparently didn't offer. But this is a fingerprinting service, not a county fair, and it's not really their job to smile the whole time. Either way, being greeted by at least a decently cordial person would have been nice. When you go in, have your ID ready and let them know you have an appointment. I had an appointment scheduled and was taken in pretty much immediately. The employee even stopped in the lobby right next to me to chat more about NOTHING related to the company functions and procedures, and then went back behind the lobby window. She called my name, and told me I could NOT get my fingerprints done today. She said I had to reschedule because I was 3 minutes late. I pointed out if she had not chatted about nothing for 20 minutes with previous appt, she could have done my appt. She said she was NOT going to take me, but that she was taking the next person back now. She then began tossing a ball up in the air and catching it smirking at me, and further telling me she was not doing my fingerprints because I was 3 minutes late. She then told the next person to come back and she would do his fingerprints. Again, she is smirking, tossing a ball in the air and catching it. So, I asked her if this is because I am white, and the next person is black. She laughed, smirked even more, and said she was NOT taking me back for my fingerprints. I am convinced, she LOVED having authority over me because I was white, she is the only employee there, and she can behave in such an unprofessional and racially bias manner. In the midst of a quarter life crisis, instead of a Porsche I opted for a name change. Cheaper and easier to undo in case I get buyer's remorse. The great state of Texas requires fingerprints before legally changing one's name to "Johnny Picture" and this is where L-1 Identity Solutions comes onto the scene. While I thought it would be convenient to schedule online, their web based scheduler was was a pain in the ass, but it felt good knowing I had an appointment booked. The place has a strip center location but no external sign indicating where L-1 actually is located. See the photos. The internally displayed is sign is tiny-if actually visible beyond five feet. When you see that small "sign" you are already there. I was late to the appointment and luckily few other people were needing the services they perform. The guy at the front desk quickly finished updating his facebook status and turned his attention towards my direction. Before I start this international crime caper I need fingerprints and a passport photo. I told him what I needed and he asked for money, which in this day and age was weird because they wanted a check. Do businesses still accept checks? L-1 only takes checks and money orders so I had to go across the street to get a money order. I returned and the guy at the front desk had me fill out a form and the girl in the back called my name a several minutes later. Once I'm in the back getting fingerprinted the cold demeanored girl who did not introduce herself asks why I'm getting fingerprinted. She's gripping my wrist and hands, smashing my fingers across a machine at this point so I feel obligated tell her about the name change. Clearly she's not accomplice material, and it occurs to me that it's really none her business. Alas, I spilled the beans and now feel weird about the whole scenarion. A stranger knows my business and it gets me thinking about what L-1 Identity Solutions does with my personal and private information? How do they protect it from others or malicious hackers? So based on yelpers recommendations I decided to go AWAY from this location my first time in need of fingerprints. I opted for a different location in town and was actually burned bad. They screwed up my paperwork and the agency which required my fingerprints declined my submission. I called up the corporate office and after being on HOLD for a long time they finally answered and rescheduled me here. After reading all of the reviews I knew where I was headed so it wasn't that hard to find. Granted this place has NO signage at all. Heads up it is in between the dentist and the nail place. I scheduled it at 9 am and they opened up at 9 am. I got there at like 9:01 and was already the 3rd person in line. However, they were quick and I was out within 20 minutes.
