The point of a decorator/planner is to reduce the stress of the client to focus on other things but in my opinion she dropped the ball so many times it added significant amounts of worry and anxiety. One of the worst and most unprofessional companies I've had the displeasure of experiencing. Very rude when you try to communicate with them throughout the week. We had to ask Veronica multiple times to do things, and every little thing was asked for by us and she did not give any creative feedback. This was only the experience during the week, but to top it off at the end she tried to extort us for thousands of dollars cash on demand threatening to shut down the event. Our experience with them was an utter nightmare from start to finish. To begin with, we made the biggest mistake of not checking the 1-star reviews going back 9 years. One of the worst vendors I've ever had to deal with especially in an industry which requires creative feedback, punctuality, kindness, and transparency. Her team had to be babysat during the chaos of setting up the home for events to make sure simple tasks like table cloths were weighed down. We had table clothes flying around the event which we had to personally take care of ontop of our endless list of stressful tasks. We are thankful we no longer have to communicate with her because of the nightmare she caused the evening of our last event. She was threatening to remove the decor while my sister (the bride) was trying to take pictures and greet her guests. My sister had been planning for the event for over a year just to have the most unprofessional and uncooperative experience. As a guest, it was awful to see them arguing with the hosts and threatening to take down decorations all while demanding more money and not taking accountability for their own inconsistencies. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! I signed a contract with this company and gave a deposit to hold the items for my event. After they took my deposit, they wouldn't return my calls or emails. After weeks of trying I finally got a hold of "VERONIKA", she stated that some of the items that were on my signed contract AND that she accepted a deposit for, were no longer available. She gave them to another client?!? WTH?? She refused to correct the matter and refused to return the deposit stating it was a misunderstanding or miscommunication. I told her then cancel the contract and said if I cancel now, being that it's so close to my event, I would have to pay the full contract amount. I told her that she breached the signed contract and I'm not paying anything more and to return my deposit and to this day, still nothing. My daughter's wedding was last night 12/31/16 and what we discussed with Veronika was not what we ordered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, unless you want your whole event ruined. Veronika had great customer service until two days before the event and the day of. Once you have a contract and pay your money good luck, you get what you get. The centerpieces were NOTHING like we picked out, and the contract included candles NO CANDLES. It's amazing how she DEMANDED a cashiers prior to the event date. Now I understand why, once she has your money she can do what ever she wants and she did. I didn't mind the high expense, but I feel I did not get my money worth's. STAY AWAY!!! Horrible. Our dealings with this company and Veronika were not pleasant. My fiancé would negotiate a particular setup or design with Veronika and then the next quote or invoice would include mysterious add-ons and higher prices than agreed upon. She was terribly hard to reach by phone and took weeks to respond to emails with questions about the bill. With an awareness that many wedding planning services or event decorators tend to charge exorbitant prices (as idesign does), at least deliver on what is agreed upon. She didn't even show up to the event, which was in nearby Santa Clara, to make sure it was set up correctly. Overall, she was unprofessional and the experience working with idesign caused more stress to both of us. NOT recommended! read more

I have and fantastic experience working with iDesign in September in Ben Lomond for the wedding we planned. The venue was all outside and I was concerned with it also being up in the mountains, with curvy roads for delivering the decorations. Veronika immediately put us at ease and followed thru in supporting our dealbreakers. We wanted a mandap set up outside in a redwood cleaning. At first, because of the layout, we could not visualize if it and the stage and guest chairs would all fit... we had many meetings with her to reassure us and give us options on how to create the open mandap vision we had really wanted. What I loved most is that she created a design board- with a picture to give us a better idea of what would get on the wedding day.... of course the real awesomenss about that is it DID look exactly like we discussed.... if you are thinking about working iDesign our advice is YES! read more

Veronika was just fantastic! We hired her for decor and day of event planning for our Indian wedding in March. We could not have made a better choice!! Everything was exactly on time (so much that our families were astounded at how smoothly things ran)! For the ceremony, the mandap was beautiful and even better than we had expected. Note: we are not particular people so read with a grain of salt. For the reception : we had discussed a candle trussle backdrop which she wasn't able to get for us on the day of. She did, however, compensate by not charging for certain last minute add on items during the ceremony. One critical comment we had was that she put out fewer large centerpieces than we had discussed on our invoice. She did add more after we pointed it out though. Again, were not as particular as the overall charm of the reception hall was beautiful and exactly the vision we had come to life!! The reception decor quite honestly was probably even better than the picture we had in mind. Veronika is incredible in what she does, polite, and courteous.
