He offers just about anything dive related in the shop and if he doesn't he will order it for you. In addition to scuba certification he offers advanced classes, CPR classes, spring dive trips, ocean dive trips, and Disney dive trips. I recently moved to the area and have visited almost every dive shop in the area. I keep coming back to Idive. I am PADI certified and they are NAUI but that is ok. PADI is becoming too commercialized anyways. The shop is smaller than the larger ones, but the staff and service more than make up for that. Kayley is very friendly and easy to talk to. I have even just stopped by to chat. Their trips are fun and have a family type of atmosphere. I would definitely recommend going on one to meet everyone. I moved from San Diego so the diving in Jacksonville doesn't compare but Idive makes it more bearable. If anyone is looking for a dive shop give Idive a shot. You will not regret the family atmosphere here. It may not be a big box store like Divers Supply but it is a great place. read more

We could not be more satisfied with Idive. We signed our 11 year old daughter up for the summer scuba camp and she loved it. I will first say this is not a cheap hobby..be prepared to shell out some money if you want to dive but it is an investment. We did not go with the top of the line equipment for our daughter because she is 11 and we don't know if she will stick with it. (Looks like she will seeing as she is headed out for another dive this weekend). She loved everyone working there and her instructor. I just cannot say enough about how great it is to live in an area where your kids summer camps provide them with a life long experience. read more

I had such an amazing experience being open water certified with iDive St Augustine! Kyla went way above and beyond to be sure I had everything lined up as I was coming from out of town. Nice local dive shop by the lighthouse in Saint Augustine. Kyla, Justin and Shawn take good care of you in and out of the water. Family run with personalize service, good equipment, good prices and classes. They do offer some nice dive trips to the Caribbean and Pacific. read more

Don't trust this operation at all. I brought my scuba tank in for a hydro test just before they closed their St. Augustine brick and mortar store late last fall, but never got it back. I didn't get a call back after leaving three voicemails to the shop, inquiring about my tank, so had to drive by to see they were closed. I gave up and figured the tank was lost when the business closed. But I later realized the business was still operational and now simply lacks a shop. I obtained the owner's cell phone number and left mutliple detailed messages with him about my unreturned tank. He never called back. It became apparent the business was never going to return my property. The owner of iDive is unaccountable at best - and simply lost my tank but won't be responsible for it - or is at worst a thief and is now using my own tank for his clients' use. read more

Shawn and Jason did a fantastic job organizing the Roatan trip. Seriously it could not have been a better trip. Anthony's Key Roatan is fantastic and Shawn and Jason had everything set up so well with the resort that it's was a welcome week away from everyday stresses. Rides were waiting for us at the airport. Bags were delivered directly to our rooms without us having to touch them. The dive crew Shawn and Jason arranged to have on our boats were fantastic and shawn and Jason both knew them personally from their many trips to the resort. The staff seemed to enjoy the IDive group as much as we enjoyed them. This was our second time joining IDive in Roatan and we look forward to joining the group again on a planned trip next year. I tried other dive shops in town, but none made me feel more welcome than the folks at Idive. The staff are super friendly and are eager to help you with any dive questions. Believe me, I ask a lot of questions. From a beginner to expert diver they provide the certification for everyone. I took one of their trips to Cozumel Mexico, I can honestly say it was the best holiday I ever had. Their gear is top quality, instructors and dive masters top notch. I walked in with dog in tow and they are so pet friendly. Can't wait to do another dive trip!!! read more

Paid for a south Florida dive trip that was postponed due to weather (I understand they can't control the weather) but every time we try and use our credit they always have an excuse why we can't go. Refuse to give refund or make up the dive, I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I recommend any shop but these scam artists! This place is the best. I just got certified through them. They are so helpful. They helped me buy all of my gear and spent probably 3 hours total with me patiently explaining the pros and cons of all the gear I bought, how it worked, and did their very best to get me the best prices and most reliable products. I'm on a first name basis with all of them and they greet me like a friend whenever I walk into the shop. Not because I've known them for a particularly long time, but they're just so friendly and really care about their customers. They offer you free drinks (water, soda) and do their very best to make sure you're well taken care of. iDive is THE dive shop to get with in St. Augustine, FL..!! i found this dive shop after a few visits to other dive shops.. Ken is the owner and one of the dive masters.. he is very knowledgeable with learning diving skills, getting set-up with gear, and very patient during the classes and fun dives.. i got certified here and went on many "fun dives" w/ every diver master here.. i dove with these guys over 3 months.. every other dive master was also very patient and understanding w/ me and all other students learning to scuba dive.. these guys/gals make you feel super comfortable at all times and want to make sure you are comfortable w/ your diving skills/level.. i also bought all of my gear here.. they sell only the best scuba gear and recommend/use/wear/rent only the best.. if you want to learn to scuba dive and have a fear of drowning (like i do), these are the people you want to learn/continue to dive with..!! read more
