We had a large group of 12 and the staff was very accommodating and kind. They were able to get us quickly seated because we had a reservation. We were seated outside and it was dimly let, but from what I remember there were some outdoor games outside that looked fun. The burger was decent and the fries were cooked well.

Traveling for work and stayed at The Inelle located in Oakhurst Yosemite, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The Hemlock Restaurant & Bar is the restaurant onsite. I ordered the Bleu salad add chicken and a piece of cheesecake. Delicious! Fire pit outside . I'm super happy that the owner supports the local breweries.. I'm also disappointed because I like a cold Modelo. I picked the location based on a restaurant and bar to avoid driving somewhere. Can the owner read this and add Coors light, Modelo and a white claw? Could be a fun local hangout. Everyone knows regulars keep the lights on. Sophia was awesome. Kept busy and the place was clean and tidy. It was nice to chat to her while I started to unwind from work before bed. I found it interesting because I had to work late a couple of nights that all the restaurants and places were closed. A few weeks ago I was traveling downtown Sonora and there was a restaurant there that actually opened at 7 PM. While traveling for work chitchatting to the folks, he learned that there was no place for people to eat. The place was packed because all of the people came from Yosemite and stayed in Sonora. In the past the had nowhere to eat. I heard it twice in the short time I was there! Also people who live in different countries don't always eat the same hours we do. This man found his little market and it was pretty successful looking. Enjoy The Hemlock

Eggplant Parmesan was highlight of meal. So tasty! Burger was solid. Butternut squash soup plus Cesar salad with chicken very satisfying. Chicken penne with vodka sauce was less successful. Sauce needs work. Chicken cooked perfectly. Wine and drinks lovely, however, prices needed on drinks menu.

Welcome Yelpies !!! The menu is nice and simple yet the choices will entice you to figure out what drink to go with such an amazing menu. Don't worry the staff will lead you in the right direction. I couldn't believe I was eating at a hotel. The indoor seating was nice but man the outdoor seating is amazing. Get in here and enjoy

A bit confusing to navigate. We had to ask the bartender how it worked. Super small menu, and they were out of some items but we didn't know until we ordered it. The bruschetta was good but very chunky so it just slid right off the bread onto the table when you tried to take a bite. The garlic fries were better and a good portion. Not a bad experience but nothing to write home about.

Peach and Ginger lemonade mocktail, it was super refreshing.

The seared pork belly was SO good. The sauce was phenomenal. Love the atmosphere, very cozy and rustic chic. I cannot emphasize this enough, the space smells incredible. Most hotel lobbies have that iconic hotel musk, but there's this light citrus-y scent that hits you when you come in and it was really pleasant to just sit and enjoy the room. The bartender and server were both really friendly and welcoming. It looks like when the weather is cooler there are patio seating options. Food was made fresh and the sauce, again cannot stress this enough, I wanted to walk out with a bottle of. I was so sad when I finished my meal, I honestly wanted to lick my plate clean haha!

Fireplace and sitting area near dining tables.

We heard that the chef was serving a turkey dinner during Thanksgiving week. We are so glad we came! The food was delicious!!!! For starters, we were served the most delicious pumpkin soup I have ever had - savory with just a hint of spice! So so good!!!! The turkey was Devine! So tender and tasty, served on a bed of smooth and creamy mashed potatoes! Freshly made cranberry sauce, Brussel spouts and stuffing rounded out the menu! For dessert, we were served an Apple crisp a la mode! Yum!!!! This is a small restaurant inside a relatively new hotel. It is nice inside with only a few tables. There are more tables outside near a roaring fireplace. Wish we lived closer! We would definitely come more often!

Service was decent, and the ambiance was nice, but overall the experience was just okay. The Peruvian pretzel was actually pretty darn good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest disappointment, and the main reason I'm giving three stars, was the oysters. If I could rate the oysters separately, I would give them zero stars. They were probably some of the worst-tasting oysters I've ever had. They tasted extremely fishy and did not seem fresh at all. We ordered a dozen and definitely regretted ordering that many. The dipping sauce that came with them was very good, but for the price this restaurant charges, the oysters should absolutely taste fresh. I also would not recommend the mac and cheese. It looked more like something that came out of a box than freshly made restaurant mac and cheese. If you're ordering for kids, I'd probably choose the pasta with tomato sauce instead. There were some good things about the meal, especially the pretzel and the atmosphere, but between the oysters, the mac and cheese, the long wait for food, and the prices, three stars feels fair.

We came in on a Saturday afternoon after the river and were instantly welcomed by Oscar and his wife. The brewery has a wide selection of beers, all brewed by Oscar himself, and he was kind enough to let us sample whatever we wanted. Every beer we tried was excellent. We hung out for a while chatting with him, and even asked if he knew of a place to watch an English Premier League game the next day. The closest was in Fresno--until Oscar went above and beyond. He told us not to worry, that he would open the brewery just for us on Sunday, even though he's usually closed! The next day we showed up, and Oscar not only opened the doors but let us use our camping stove outside to make tacos. We all enjoyed them together--Oscar included! We expected to stay for about two hours but ended up staying close to five because we were having such a blast. Oscar gave us a tour of the brewery, made us feel like family in his home, gifted us a round on him, and even let us put on some music where we sang at the top of our lungs. I know this is a long review, but it's for a reason. Most breweries can feel impersonal--serve the beer and move on to the next customer. Shuteye Brewery is different. Oscar connects with people and shows, through his actions, that he truly cares about making sure you have a beautiful experience. On top of that, he's dedicated to his community, constantly doing outreach projects to give back. Simply put, the beer is great, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner is amazing. This place is a gem, and I'll be making it a must-stop every time I'm in the area.

I won't bore you with the full story, but the hospitality from the Chateau team was exceptional from the moment we walked in, and it only got better once our group of 13 took over the cozy Cellar Bar with the best bartender/mixologist around, Jordan. The menu is already excellent, but the drinks kept getting better as the night went on. Jordan is an absolute hoot and a half and clearly has a deep well of knowledge and passion for his craft. At some point I stopped ordering off the menu entirely and just let him work his magic, highly recommend doing the same. It's been two weeks and our group chat is still talking about the drinks, the jokes, and the genuine care he showed everyone, including quietly checking whether the non-drinkers in our group wanted their lemon drops NA, making sure we had a DD, and singing "Unwritten" with the bride. Our go-tos before we let Jordan freestyle were the Cherry Bloom and the Lychee Martini. Pro tip: ask him about his Fernet Coin. That is exactly what happened during my recent dinner at Elderberry House. I visited with a group of four, and between us, we had two gluten-free diners and one vegetarian. After a quick heads-up the day before, the restaurant handled our needs with total ease. We went for the five-course tasting menu, and it was incredible from start to finish. We kicked things off with one of the best oysters I have ever had, followed by a beautiful tuna presentation. The kitchen even looked out for our gluten-free friends with a special version of their herbal-butter focaccia that was actually delicious. By the time the main courses arrived, I honestly could not decide if I liked my beef or my friend's snap pea risotto better; every single bite was pure perfection. The cocktails were another high point. My first drink was great, but after chatting with our server, Jordan, I decided to try the Last Word. It featured that hard-to-find green chartreuse, and I am a little annoyed to report that I have a new favorite cocktail that requires such a rare ingredient. The service is what really made the night so special. Jordan was so charismatic and helpful, making sure we were perfectly taken care of all evening. He was so good that I almost worried a second visit would not be the same without him, though the rest of the staff quickly put that fear to rest. Abby was so friendly and responsible for a truly unique but perfect-for-the-vibe playlist, and Chris the mixologist even stopped by to geek out about gin and cocktails with us.
