Thank you fellow Yelpers. I shattered my iPhone's screen the other day and wanted to get it fixed. I came to my ever-trusted Yelp site and you guys did not disappoint. A phone call to "the doctor" yielded a quote for $60. I practically ran to him as most other locations quoted me a price in excess of $90. He was out front taking a break when I arrived but he immediately greeted me, took my phone and told me to give him 20 to 25 minutes. I gave him 22 minutes and my phone was ready and like new again. He also gave me a 30 day warranty. Hopefully, I will never drop my phone again but if I do I know where I am taking it. My iPhone 5 was broken to the point that you could see the insides of the phone. I assumed that I would have to buy a new phone completely, but because I currently have a free upgrade to the iPhone 6 given I trade my current phone in, I figured I could give this a shot. He laughed when he saw my phone because of how mangled it was, but within 20 minutes had it looking like new. The price for mine was $100, which I did not mind at all paying. I cracked my screen on my iPhone 6plus. I called iDoctor and told him my situation he said come on down and he could have it fixed in 20-30 mins. Sure enough 25 minutes later after I arrived my phone was fixed with a new screen protector that he put on for me. Thanks Vahe, I will be back for any future repairs to my Apple products. read more

Had a great experience at Idoctor. I had a laptop that needed repairing and every place quoted me 80 bucks with a week hold at least but Vahed the computer tech was really efficient and I was in and out in 20 mins with my laptops along with a fraction of the price of every computer repair shop in Tempe. Highly recommend when you need to repair your iPhone. My iPhone 7 was dropped on floor several times and camera stopped working, I checked Yelp and found iDoctor which has high ratings. Found this repair shop on Yelp! and it was so quick and efficiently done. The total was slightly cheaper than the retail store and guaranteed faster than the Apple Store. I just had Vahe do a data recovery on my old Mac Book Pro hard rive. He got everything off it when the Apple Genius Bar folks could not. Kudos to him as he saved my marriage. It was my wife's computer and had over 5000 photos on it that were irreplaceable. Happy wife, happy life. Computer tech since 2000. I was in love with computers and electronics whole my life. That was my passion. I started my first job when i was 15, as junior computer tech. And since then I`m working in the field constantly growing and improving my knowledge.First there were only computers and networking. After a while in 2008 I found my second passion and that was Apple devices. That`s when I have started fixing iPhones iPads and iPods. 2013 was big change in my life. Well they did not & 60% of my data was gone. I was devastated for days until my wife suggested a third party repair shop. I reached out to a couple businesses and after speaking to Eric with iFixit, I thought it was worth a try. What did I have to lose? I dropped off my time capsule that apple told me I had completely erased due to holding the reset button in for 10 seconds (they also couldn't pull up any info off of it). They said it requires a network to operate and access the data which they could not do. Well Eric opened the hard drive and was able to directly access the files. I was amazed and so happy. Since the files are scattered he suggested I bring in my iMac and attempt to complete a restore of data which would put the files in the correct location. Eric was right and completely saved my digital life! I am forever grateful to them and his hard work. I was surprised at how reasonable the work cost too. Definitely give them a shot for any data recovery issues you may be facing. They know the "ins and outs".

If you're cool with that type of behavior, have a computer issue that's easy to solve, and lots of time to get it solved, then AIT could be a good fit for you. If you want a professional that can confidently solve your issue in a reasonable amount of time, then you might consider other options. I offered to meet him halfway as his location was around 20 minutes away and he was very grateful. I am not one to typically leave reviews, however Sean was so kind, well meaning, respectful, and gave me live updates about how the repair was going. This was the best customer service experience I have ever received in tech. The apple store quoted me at $1300 and sean completely repaired my water damaged 2017 macbook pro and was able to recover all of my data for just $400. My computer was under reasonable use conditions and slightly dirty when I gave it to him. He returned it back in sparkling condition having cleaned thoroughly the interior and exterior. He even cleaned my dusty fans even though they had nothing to do with the repair. Above and beyond service. 5 stars

THIS PLACE IS OVERPRICED AND PROVIDES VERY POOR SERVICE!!!…read more I have 2 experiences at Data Doctors, and BOTH of them are poor: 1) My hard drive on my HP froze up. Took my pc to another vendor who diagnosed it FOR FREE. They told me the fee would be about $1k to fit it, but said they could retrieve all my data. Since my employer was going to pay for it, I decided to take it to Data Doctors because of the reviews I had seen, and since they have so many locations around town. When I took my pc in, it was a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE fee just to look at it, and they had my pc for several days before telling me they thought they could retrieve my data for about the same price ($10 higher than the other vendor). Since the $100 was non-refundable (and would apply towards the cost to fix) I decided to go with Data Doctors - BIG MISTAKE. DD told me it would take 2 weeks to get my pc fixed - it took nearly a month and most of the updates I received were at my urging on wanting to know what the status of my case was? Once the month came and went they told me they could NOT fix my pc. I told them how dissatisfied I was with their service and they refunded me the $100, which was rightful due to all the time they had my pc and my status-finding efforts. That is the one good thing I could say. 2) I got a new pc (Sony Vaio) and inserted an adapter which I thought would fit okay (it fit into the above HP) but turned out it didn't. Again went to Data Doctors to get help removing it. The counter rep there was not helpful at all - he wouldn't even touch it - said I would need to leave it there for a $100 minimum fee and said they would try not to damage my pc(?) I was quite disgusted and I left. I realized at that point that Data Doctors is not there to help, they are in this business to MAKE MONEY, and they don't care about the customer (at least not this one). After I left Data Doctors I did a Google maps search and found another vendor close by - WHAT A GREAT SURPRISE! I walked in with my Vaio and within 15 minutes the owner had removed the adapter from my pc with very little effort and - NO CHARGE. I will never go to Data Doctors again. The other vendor gave me his best effort and set me on the road again, and I very much appreciated his time and his appreciation of my time in stopping by. Whereas Data Doctors never thanked me, they only wanted my money, and certainly not my respect or my loyalty.

I had called around and read different reviews on where to repair my iphone. iDoctor looked promising, especially since a different repair shop in Tempe that I had used previously was pretty expensive. I shot a quick email to the store to inquire about cost and repair time for a new battery on my 5. Not crazy about trading up to a 6 or 6+ due largely to the expense but can't be without my phone too long. Within minutes of sending my email I got a note back saying the price ($50) and that it would take about 5 minutes. The lowest cost battery replacement on Amazon is a little less but I figured with the time delay receiving the repair kit, hassle and possibility of me breaking my phone, this was a safer bargain. Took my phone in and not only did it really take only 5 minutes, the cost was exactly as quoted and the owner is super nice. All things considered, I'd give the experience a "6" if I could. There is a solid reason these reviews are all "5-star". read more

DO NOT hesitate to come here!!!! Was pleasantly surprised to find a location so close to my home (across the street), when my DH dropped by iPad mini and shattered the screen. I found the doc on Yelp, and decided to try it. I dropped my mini off, was quoted $120 to replace the screen (no corners were bent or anything), and said to give him a few hours. Less than 2 hours later, he called and said it was ready! Looks so pretty and new! He was friendly, was eager to help and I didn't even need an appt!!! Was a little surprised that the "Dr" is inside a water and ice...but good for him for making the most out of his space! Love going to small businesses especially in my community! We have a regular iPad that has been cracked for a year (but still usable) that I plan on taking here next week for replacement! read more

I shattered the screen of my iphone 6s yesterday and brought it in to be replaced this morning. Screen was done in about 25 minutes and looked great. Unfortunately when I got home, I realized my front facing camera was no longer working. I brought my phone back in, he apologized for the problem, took it back to check it out, and had it fixed in less than 10 minutes. He was very polite and professional, and $40 cheaper than the other repair places I had looked up (with the $10 for $20 yelp deal i got). I highly recommend this place for repairs! Also, it's just a few doors down from P croissants, so you can go get a treat while your device is being fixed :) read more

I brought in a Macbook for a keyboard replacement. This is a very labor intensive repair involving 100+ tiny screws and a ton of latches, but Vahe got it done within a few hours and only charged a fraction of what Apple was quoting me. After removing and re-attaching literally 100+ screws and latches to replace the keyboard he was kind enough to clean up some residual damage from a cat vomit incident. Needless to say he earned every penny. The keyboard is as good as new! He is incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgable and I highly recommend seeing him if you need a repair. read more

Dropped my phone this morning and shattered the top of the screen. To make matters worse I'm only in town for work through today. Not a good way to start the day :-(. Found the iDoctor on yelp. Liked the reviews, price and warranty. Called and explained my predicament. He agreed to fix my phone while I waited as soon as I arrived at his store. He did a GREAT job on my 6S screen replacement and added a tempered glass protector to replace the the one that shattered with the screen. The repair took 15 to 20 min. After looking at reviews, this owner was the only one who had actually responded to every review, commented , personal & thoughtful, like a digital thank you note. . Fantastic customer service and completely saved my husband when he broke his iPad screen and needed to access reports on it that night. Took my iPhone 4S to the apple store and was told that there was no way to repair it. The charging port was bad and there is no way to replace it. Took a chance and brought it to Vahe, iDoctor, and 10 minutes later a working phone. Very good price, very good service. Apple store was going to charge me 200 for a new phone.
