Each time the service was fast and professional. The gentleman who helped me was very matter of fact and straight to the point with what services he could provide. They fixed a completely obliterated phone that could not even open the lock screen within a half hour. The newer model phones seem to have pricier parts...so an Iphone X screen might cost you in the range of $130. The 6 that I had fixed last year was understandably more affordable. Place is so small I passed it three times. After stopping at some pizza spot on the corner. the guys walks me down the street and he can't find the place. It's like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe moment. Everyone says it's there but it's still a hard find with all the packed store fronts selling phone accessories and other merchandise. So I'm lead to the back of the very tightly packed store and main dude transfers me to the tech. The dude takes ones look at my ipod. (the thing is history) and seems captivated. It charges up, system attempts to sync, but he says he can't help! Although the item seems to be working functionally - the screen is shot! Only way to fix would be for me to order the part and have him replace it. Since I was only spending the day in NY that wasn't an option. No he wasn't able to fix my issue. But he still provided great customer service, gave me great additional information, and all while have a very pleasant attitude. He then tells me, he'd love to purchase the item, it's literally an iPod Classic. This is much more then I have received from any other store. read more

Although the work seemed quick and efficient with in a day it was obvious something went seriously wrong with capacitive touch screen. After a couple more days fighting with it to do what i needed it was useless and i had to purchase a new phone. To be fair i was unable to take it back to them and give them a chance ti fix it since i live a couple hours away. But this is what they do and I'd expect it to be done right the first time. read more

Went here a few weeks ago to fix my phone screen, which they did and it seemed to work fine until the next day I couldnt get sound out of the earpiece. I brought it back and the guy took it apart and said he forgot to plug that wire in when he put the phone back together the first time. It worked fine after that until a week later. I tried to call someone and the phone started glitching out and basically being completely unresponsive. It would only work in short bursts where the touch screen would do a bunch of stuff all at once, be normal for a little bit, and go back to being nearly unusable. I could push buttons but not scroll. I brought it back hoping they would replace what I assumed was a defective screen they installed on my phone. Instead, the guy claimed I dropped it and that I must have somehow broken the motherboard, because of one tiny crack that appeared near the bottom of the phone between the home button and the edge of the phone (for what it's worth, there was a tiny 'lump' there after he had fixed it the second time around). I think it's pretty rich that he thinks me dropping the phone would be the reason for my malfunctioning, when their business model is predicated on people bringing in phones that have been dropped and smashed up beyond belief so they can get a fully functioning phone after a screen replacement. I took him at his word and went to Apple, but they weren't able to diagnose any problems with the motherboard. The only alternative Apple offered would be to inspect and replace the screen, but I would have to pay a $160 charge. I wish I had done that in the first place because I have had a malfunctioning phone for over a month and saving 50 bucks wasn't worth this trouble. read more

I'm writing this review from my (fixed) phone. It looks brand new and is in mint condition. I dropped my phone and it cracked pretty badly but I got a replacement via insurance and I kept the cracked phone and never got around to fixing it. A year later, my phone crapped out - out of nowhere - and I remember I had my old phone so I took it out to get it fixed, finally... I picked this place because my coworker recommended it and gave me their business card. I called in the morning asking if they had my part and they did! My phone is a LG G4 and places HARDLY if EVER have parts. Some other places flat out deny me because they've never dealt with an LG G4 before (I heard their screens are pretty difficult) so imagine my surprise when they have the parts and offer to do it same day!! I went after work to get it fixed. They were super professional and super quick. Took around 30 minutes for it to be fixed and it looks perfect!! Brand new! The only thing is I would like to wait a couple of days to review since it is a screen replacement. The part looks great and works great right now but problems may crop up. However they offer $5 off your purchase if you post a review so I'll update this in a couple of weeks if it changes. But I would like to reiterate that I have no complaints about the service and parts. Super quick, looks great, and the guys are super nice. Even if there is something wrong with the phone, they're super accommodating and I feel I can go back and explain the situation and they would fix it. I highly recommend! UPDATE : So the few days following my phone's fixed screen there was a slight mechanical whirring noise when the brightness is under a certain percentage, which was very strange and annoying. Additionally, my screen would act like it is in auto brightness even when it wasn't set to it on my phone. The brightness will vary at random times which was very annoying as well. I messaged the guys and they told me some steps to take and if it didn't work afterwards, to come back to get it fixed. As I do not go to Port Authority to go home, it was out of my way, I got lazy and bore with it. Eventually though, it stopped. At least the mechanical whirring did. The brightness still sometimes varies but is less so. Still, despite it all I am super satisfied with the end product and the stellar customer service. read more

UPDATE: After returning home I discovered that the screen no longer works the way it should and sometimes doesn't recognize that I'm touching the screen. Sometimes it has a mind of its own selecting letters, links, etc. that I did not want. It now makes phone calls when I don't want them and hangs up when I'm on the phone. It takes me about five minutes of trial and error to punch in a phone number that I don't have in my contacts already. Basically, it behaves as though it's possessed. POOR QUALITY GLASS i needs to repair my phone before a trip, so I brought my phone in the morning and they did a really quick job, which was impressive. the colors of the screen appeared to be muted a bit, but i let that slide. the phone was good throughout the day at work. i put my phone on my back pocket, sitting on my soft areon chair and i see 3 cracks on the side of the receiver. many may say "well you shouldn't have put the phone in your back pocket", but i've done this multiple times without an issue, let alone have it crack on me the day it was fixed. i go back asking for a refund or a repair and he said i would have to pay for it again. the service getting the phone in and out was good, however the quality of the glass as well as turning the colors of the phone muted should reflect on your decision to take your services here. read more

I came here after I broke the lcd screen on my Samsung Galaxy phone. It was an expensive repair and after canvassing a few other areas in the NY area it had the best pricing. They let me know that the repair would only take an hour but they let me know it was okay if I came back a few hours later to pick up my phone. It was fixed beautifully when I picked it up and I'm not having any issues with the touch screen at all. Just taking off a star because because I was quoted a different price when I asked in the morning vs when I dropped it off. They worked with me to accommodate the error on their end which was really sweet of them! The only other 'meh' issue I have is that the home button seems a little elevated than before but it doesn't affect the way that the phone works. All in all 4 stars because they fixed the screen perfectly! and would recommend this place for any other butterfingers out there. read more
