Guys, I DID IT!! I faced my fear of flying. I totally looked like a grandma in that helmet, but the flight was worth it. I had TWO minutes!! Two minutes to fly my heart away. I felt ashamed of myself for being scared that all these ten year olds were better flyers than me, but c'mon: everybody started somewhere somehow. The check in process was pretty spankin' easy with electronic kiosks and Kevin at the front desk. (He was so nice) I spotted merchandise in the corner, and loved the t-shirts with novelty sunglasses. Once checked in, Renee was with us the whole way, because she was our primary instructor. When you're a first time flyer, you must watch a 4:00 minute video deciding what the rules are. There are about 4 hand signals that your primary instructor insists on you knowing: Index finger pointing up (Chin Up), Peace Sign (Keep your legs straight), Bented Peace Sign (Bend your legs slightly), and the gnarly wave (Relax your body. The best thing I learned is keeping your body as cozy and calm as you can. If you move around a lot, then you'll never be happy inside that tube. After learning all this important info, they had us dress up in their jumpsuits, and they even let us borrow shoes with laces, because any slip on shoes, sandals, jewelry and loose items are not permitted. They give you ear plugs and helmets. Renee was there to hold us throughout the whole time. I was shivering from fear, but once it was my turn, i felt light as a feather, stiff as a board. My first minute, I was stubborn and didn't enjoy the fact that I was falling up and down. I was practically embarrassed because I wanted to get the hell out!!! But Renee had me the whole time. Around the second time, everyone was doing the High Flight with Renee, but I decided to hold off on that. Instead I used my second turn as a good practice and had the best flight ever that everyone was waving at me in delight. I loved it and got the hang of it. Confidence is key. I had a blast and saw they can do birthday parties and events . I might just spend my birthday here next time. read more

I must be a Negative Nathan here because I really didn't enjoy this activity all that much, and I didn't even pay for it. Everyone else on here seems to have really good things to say about it. In terms of instruction and facility they were top notch. So if you're looking at getting in to recreational or competitive sky diving, this place is probably a great place to start. However, you can't really do anything all that impressive just starting out so it kind of felt like a huge waste when I was done. Other people in my group said they really enjoyed themselves but I couldn't tell if they were just saying that because it was the bosses idea and he was standing right there. EXXXXXTREEEME TEAM BUILDING!!!!! There's no "I" in TEAM but there are three "I's" in "ADRENALINE PUMPING TEAM FUNCTIONS!!! At least it wasn't bowling. Bowling is the worst team building activity in the history of ever. If the idea is to get you hooked with your first try, they failed with me. read more

Great experience! My grandparents wanted to take my brother and I here, and we had a great experience. I've skydived a few times and wanted to work on my body positioning. My brother has never been. The people at the front desk were a little odd, almost annoyed that we were there. I don't think it was intentional, and it certainly didn't ruin anything. The instructor was informative and talented. He was able to help me work on my skills after not jumping for a year, and gave my brother a great experience as well. Love this place. Skydiving is a pricey hobby, but worth it. For somebody who won't ever jump, this is a good substitute. For somebody needing coaching, this is the place. read more

I am deathly afraid of heights, so I was slightly apprehensive about suiting up and getting in the wind tunnel when I looked down and saw the drop down to the fans through the grate. I had no reason to fear though, as I never set foot on the grate and just floated in mid air as my instructor flashed me hand signals about what to do next. This indoor sky diving wind tunnel is located out by Park Meadows mall, in a rather unassuming building considering that it's basically a wind silo. The staff is extremely friendly and organized. They've obviously done this many, many times, but when you go with a group of 30 people, as I did, excellent organization really shows. My instructor was Mike Silva and I would recommend him to anyone. He was upbeat, patient and very experienced. The one down side to this place is the price. From what I heard (work paid for the event, so I didn't actually have to shell out any moolah), it's about $65 for a minute. They seem incredibly eager to give discount to first timers and return customers alike, but I still think that's a pretty obscene price to pay for floating in the air for 60 seconds. Don't get me wrong, I had an absolute blast and when I get some extra spending money, I plan on going with the boy again. This time, maybe I'll try doing some flips. read more

Its expensive - $48 for 2 min, Its scary - floating with nothing below you except the thought of a giant fan (its really not below you) but its DAMN FUN! I went here while in CO for work and had a blast! For your first time you just do the basic floating on your belly stuff but its way cool. After the first one min session I was getting the hang of it and wanted to start doing kick flips and back spins - till next time I guess. If you are ever in the area and able to make this a part of your trip check it out. You won't regret it - yo! read more

Get ready for some fun at Skyventure! Awesome instructors - they're the real thing - very experienced skydivers who have thousands of hours of experience between them. They are patient and encouraging. When you get there they show you an instructional/safety video. Then get suited up and off you go for your indoor skydiving experience. It's a blast - literally! It's really fun to experience personally, but it's a kick to watch the other people in the group. Toward the end of your indoor skydiving adventure, the instructor joins you and does some fun stunts for the group. read more

I am the person who is will probably never jump out of a plane but has always wanted to sky dive. I found this indoor wind tunnel on the internet and decided I had to try it. Entire family traveled up to Denver and let me tell you....we could not get the smiles off our faces! The 2 minutes go by so fast that I would recommend doing more if you can afford it. It is located in a strip-mall on the out-skirts of Denver. The instructors are fantastic but be sure to make reservations - they are typically booked solid. Not sure I am ready for a "real" jump but will most certainly be back! read more

We went here for a team offsite and had a great time. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing to watch in the "wind chamber". Seriously, you can just go in and watch them for free, they put on a pretty good show. As far as the experience goes, as I said, we had a great time. They take the time to get you outfitted with the right fitting gear, set you up to watch a short video, go over some basics, and then get you right at it. They staff goes in the tunnel with you and tries to give you tips as best they can while you are flying. It's quite amusing to watch the others in your group because you can always seem to pick out what they are doing wrong, but it's completely different when you're in there. Your first time here is a bit on the pricey side, but I was able to find some online coupons for $5 off each. If you go again, they have reduced per minute rates if you buy 5 minute increments. I thought this was a great place for a group outing and highly recommend it. read more

It was my Granddaughters 14th birthday yesterday and we drove by ifly. It was not a planned visit but I asked her if she wanted to do it. She said yes so we went in. The experience was incredible for her. The staff was great and the training was excellent. She loved it!! It is something she will remember all her life!. She had a blast! Safety is top priority for these folks and the instructors are top notch. We sprung for the "high flight" where the instructor took her to the top. I can't believe how much it built up her self confidence. I took a lot of videos and bought her a shirt to remember her experience. She told me it was the best birthday present she ever had! Indoor skydiving is phenomenal! This is one of the earlier tunnels iFLY built and quite a few of the online training videos were done here. They have the full gambit of flight options. You can come as a newbie on your own, in a pair, or purchase extraordinarily discounted flight packages. Fun fact, if you're a costco member, you can purchase the same newbie package that's offered at a phenomenal discount. I'm currently working on my level one flight maneuvers (I clearly thought it was worth it to get the most intense package). Derren was my instructor and he gave me really clear instruction both before and inside the tube. He's fun if you've got little kids in the group too. It's pretty fun to launch into the tunnel and fly. I can't wait for my first flip! read more

From grandmothers to little children, come young and old, to experience the tremendous sensation of "flying." My 10 yr. old and I loved our experience at iFly. The staff and instructors are fun-loving and reassuring. You do not get the stomach-dropping sensation like you experience when an airplane hits turbulence. You will feel very safe in the wind tunnel. The instructors allow you plenty of freedom once get the hang of flying/floating. I strongly recommend the "high flight" add-on as the instructor was shoot you up in the tunnel and spin you back down. However, I just don't see the appeal in spending this much money for two minutes of being blown in the air by a giant wind machine. Okaaay, this place definitely lives up to allll the hype. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical reading all the raving reviews; I mean, how great could "fake skydiving" really be? But it was A BLAST! Here's how it works: you call in or make your reservation online (super easy), and show up an hour before "flight time". After a quick self-check in process, you get wristbands and head upstairs for instructions & flight suits. After you're suited up, you'll head into the wind tunnel waiting area with your group and then into the tunnel you fly one by one. The actual flights are short (1 minute long) but the experience is exhilarating & the adrenaline rush is totally worth it. I've had Skydiving on my bucket list for a while now and this visit definitely reignited my desire to do it! I may want a couple more practice runs here before for sure. Oh, and shoutout to RACHAEL for being such a fun and great instructor; she made us feel comfortable instantly and facilitated a fun flight for everyone. read more

My 17 year old son and I went on Christmas Eve.....we have wanted to try this for a long time. It was super fun and Mickey made it even more fun. We had a great time....the only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that is about $60 per minute to fly. I spent $240 and my son and I got two minutes each to fly, Looking at prior reviews....I should have purchased tickets at Costco I guess. I seriously LOVE this place! They day that I really decided this was by watching another class. There was a kiddo (maybe 8) who was nervous to get in the wind and the way that the instructor handled the situation blew me away. The instructor, Byron, noticed the kiddo was hesitant and so had the wind brought down so the kid could come out into the tunnel to see that the net worked like a trampoline. Then got down onto his stomach and invited the kiddo to do the same. Once the kiddo was comfortable and practicing their "flying body position" Byron had the wind come up just enough so the she was flying just about 2 feet from the net. She realized she was flying and had a HUGE grin on her face. Since everyone gets two terns, on her second try she just jumped right in and flew like a champ! If it wasn't for how patient and understanding Byron treated this kiddo I'm sure it would've been a very different experience. OH! and keep in mind that there's no talking in the tunnel because the wind is too loud - so he did it all through non-verbal! - Rock Star! read more

First let me say I haven't done this yet. However I HAVE purchased multiple fight certificates both for persona gift and worked with their sales coordinator Aly Adams for donations for various fundraising events and After Prom donations for our high school. Everyone I've interacted with at iFLY are WONDERFUL to work with. Every time I'm in the facility I LOVE watching the very diverse flyers and parties coming and going (3 years old and up) and speaking with the various instructors. They are all professional helpful and courteous. So even if your just wanting to "check it out" you can walk in and ask for more information and actually watch other people do it. I think it would be AMAZING for a birthday party (of ANY age) as well as a corporate activity. I highly recommend Aly and her team at iFLY. An amazing facility with wonderful people. We scheduled 5 minutes of flying each. 2 minutes, 2 minutes, and 1 minute. Alex did an excellent job explaining how the flight would go. We declined the high flight because I felt the extra 30 seconds of practice would be better for learning than spinning our way to the top of the tube, but everyone who did the high flights came down with a smile. Most people did two 1 minute flights. If the high flight is desired, the last 30 seconds of the second flight is used to fly with the instructor flying along side while spinning your way to the top. If you aren't sure, skip it when you check in. They will ask you just before your last flight if you want to do it and then you pay when you get out of the tunnel. My two cents is that longer flight are better. If you do a one minute flight, by the time you are getting it down it is time to get out. 2 ninety second flight is going to allow for a lot more improvement. Two minutes per flight is about the most you would want to do. Even the instructors limit themselves to two minutes when they get in to practice. Lots of fun. read more

This was such a fun experience! We went on a family outing to ifly and prebooked our spots before going. Everyone got a fair amount of time in the tube and enjoyed themselves. The instructions seemed simple enough but when you are in the tube, the instructor started to tell you other things when you were getting the hang of it. You can't hear what they are saying because it is so loud so it got confusing. I wish you could go a little longer, but I guess all good things must come to an end. But you do pay a lot of money for a little amount of time, so that's probably my biggest complaint. read more

LOVED it:) I've been skydiving a few times so I come to work on my mad skillz:) The instructors we had weren't D-bags, which they can often times be in this environment.
