What a fun day. It's not that inexpensive BUT they have deals abs it's definitely an experience. You fly for a total of a minute with an instructor. This is such a fun date night or even a place to being the kids. Everyone needs to do this at least once in their life!!

Great experience. I've done this 4 times now. Once I brought all my staff for team building and holiday fun.... excellent value for a group and something everyone enjoyed. The next 3 times have been with my family and friends. Excellent way to create special memories together. We all felt very safe and our instructor was awesome. She did a little stunt show for us at the end. Don't hesitate. Just book your flight and make sure to add on a high fly for $10 extra to fly higher in the tunnel. Worth every penny. You will not regret it.

Great vibe from the time we arrived. Staff here is knowledgeable and loves what they do. Chase was our instructor. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. The little acrobatic show he did was a fun finale!

I'm in a wheelchair use who decided to put my big girl pants on and try indoor skydiving. I signed the waivers which could be done online prior to getting there and of course it was full of scary stuff like risk of injury or even death. And with paralysis you never know but I figured that it could not have been too crazy since it's indoor and with a skilled instructor. Really low risk. We checked in about 30 min before our appointment. The staff were nice with the whole process especially with my paralysis. They notified the instructor of my needs and he knew the plan and trained me on what to do. We watched other people do it for a while. Then we went to a separate room to be trained. Then we changed and put our stuff in lockers. The experience is a bit more hands on and different for me. Where most people are going into the tunnel and just free falling into the tunnel, I was carried from my chair by another instructor and handed to the main instructor. This is where the magic began. I loved feeling the air in my hair, simulating a real outdoor sky dive. It was so unreal and fun. The instructor kept me safe the whole time. I couldn't stop smile. And he was so positive and got me excited to try tandem outdoor skydiving!!

Everyone needs to try indoor skydiving! It is so much fun, it can be nerve racking at first but once you get the hang of it it is very freeing and fun. You don't have to jump out of a plane to get the falling excitement, you can get it right here.

This guy couldn't quit smiling he had so much fun

We took an out of town guest and my son who has Down syndrome wanted to try it ! One of the instructors took him inside the area to get a feel of it and we cooked for the day ! Joey had a blast he never stopped smiling and his favorite part was going up high ! Talk about inclusion we loved that he was treated like any other customer . I can't say enough about he instructors Chance and Corbin

We took our 6 year old son here and he had a blast! Everyone was so nice here. Skylar was our instructor and the 5 stars are for him. He was so sweet & welcoming. My son was nervous, he held on tight to Skylars arm & he never made him let go. Worth every penny!

Hmmm.... I like it. I like this kind of indoor sports, though I cannot deny I would love to do the real thing, tandem sky-diving or even base jumping since those are part of my Bucket Life List. That recent visit was on Saturday November 23rd 2013. One week earlier, I went to this establishment, just to make sure I can get on the list since I don't fancy talking on the phone etc etc. Wanted to do on that day, but it was fully booked. So RESERVATION IS DEFINITELY NECESSARY. I purchased the "additional" $40 + $2.73(with tax), pictures and video that they will save it for you in a little thumb drive. Thankfully I managed to get on the 08:45hrs list for the session (November 23rd 2013). My assigned instructor his name is Nathan. I have a Gift Certificate my friends purchased for my "previous" birthday aka last years, I finally managed to use it. Watch the "Safety and Introductory" Video in the room that they provide, all by myself accompanied by Hubs coz my session was the 1st that morning. After through the Video introductory, Nathan went through the verbal and hand signs needed etc etc. He showed me some tips and pointers on how to enjoy my session. I Suit up, Flight Gear with helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and goggles, ready for my first indoor flight. After the session ends, Nathan gave me a Souvenir Flight Certificate with my name on it. The session was indeed exhilarating and I don't mind returning to clock my hours since the next session will be like $17 for 1 session. But from what I found out, I need to do it within 3 months else have to go thru that "introductory" all over again. *Sigh* All in all its a fun stuff to do indoors, though I would want to do it outdoors in REAL LIFE. The cashier who handled my transaction that morning, her name is Shea. Sales Receipt #16390 SkyVenture Colorado, Indoor Skydiving 9230 Park Meadows Dr, Lone Tree, CO 80124 Tel : (303)-768-9000 http://www.skyventurecolorado.com @254/2013

Safety briefing in progress. The boy is ready to simulate his first jump!

So much fun!!!! Great communicators, especially with children, these guys are professional from start to finish. My son loves his experience and they even referred us to the only place where my son can do real skydiving in the US. It was only a couple hours away. We bought the upsell package at the end of the "flights", so we can go often when we get back home to California.

So I did something today. Never thought I'd go through with it. My friend encouraged me so I drove…read moreup and got geared up. The drive is pretty closer to the small airport. Parking was plentiful and check in easy. Sign the waivers, get weighed to make sure you don't lie about your weight for plane load calculations. Bathrooms, vending machines and an ATM available. Merchandise for sale as well. Payment was taken in cash. And for the video of your jump there's a discount if you pay with cash. You get on a trailer and driven out to the field location. It's a bumpy ride. You're given a brief tutorial by your licensed tandem instructor and an estimated time when the plane will arrive. Water and porta potties are available while you wait. You get harnessed up and more direction. Get on the plane in the order of jump. The plane was nicer than I thought so that eased some of my fears. Buckle in opposite your instructor and then the plane takes off. When it's time, Rob my tandem instructor told me to unbuckle and sit sideways facing the back of the plane. Then he told me to sit on his lap so he could buckle me to him. As the other skydivers jumped, we scooted towards the door. Then it was my turn. My videographer hung from the door while Rob rocked us back and forth. And then we were out the plane door. I think I said 'oh shit' and then got scared for a moment before I tried to remember Rob's instructions. Arms crossed on my chest, legs bent up behind me and face turned upwards. Then he tapped me on my arm and I opened my arms. What a rush! The videographer filmed us by flying around us. It was something else. She was awesome. Then Rob deployed the parachute and we were now cruising along. I got to guide the parachute and take in the views from above. The mountains were so small from up top and the colors were gorgeous. Rob pointed out the sights we could see. I got a little nauseous from motion sickness when the parachute was turning. Rob loosened the straps a little and we went straight for a bit. It helped. He prepared me for the landing by telling me what would happen and what I needed to do. We landed safely and he unhooked my harness. The adrenaline rush was crazy. I was proud to have conquered my fears and equally glad to be safe. I felt like Rob cared about my experience skydiving and my safety. Never doubted his abilities at all. And everyone was so nice. It was a little cold but he loaned me gloves and I was glad I didn't wear too thick of clothing as I got warm from the experience. They have a comment envelope you can leave your thoughts on and a tip for your instructor in. I didn't know about it beforehand so I had limited cash but I wanted to leave something for Rob to say thanks. Get the video because you won't regret it. It's worth the cost. They do a great job filming it and taking photos and putting the video together. I would recommend this for anyone who has wanted to try it. Just do it and take that leap of faith.

But Austin was our fearless rafting guide and part-time therapist--who calmed nerves, cracked jokes, and got us paddling in no time. From the very first splash, Austin made us feel safe and slightly more athletic than we actually are. He coached us through the twists and turns of the creek, and somehow convinced our teens that getting absolutely drenched and paddling for their lives was the best day ever. Miracles do exist. We glided through hidden stretches of the creek like pros (or at least like enthusiastic amateurs with great lighting), hollering with joy and soaking up every second of the adventure. Even the "hold on tight!" moments felt like a ride at a theme park--but with better views and less screaming. 10/10 would paddle again. If you're looking for an unforgettable family outing full of laughter, nature, and just the right amount of "we might flip but only if you don't do what Austin says", he's your guide. He's part guide, part hype man, and all-around river legend. Bring snacks or a picnic lunch for after an early morning trip, bring sunscreen (and put it on BEFORE you get a wetsuit. Rent shoes when you check-in ($5/person). Your family will thank you for this adventure (once they stop laughing and wringing out their socks).

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience on the July 2 beginner rafting trip was…read moredisappointing enough that I feel others should know what to expect. The day started with what appeared to be a major organizational failure. Instead of sending individual beginner groups down the river separately, the company combined two beginner groups into one massive group of approximately 16 rafts. Having that many inexperienced rafters on the water at the same time created congestion, confusion, and raised serious safety concerns. Unfortunately, those concerns proved valid. One person in our raft fell into the river twice during the trip. While rafting always involves some risk, our guide, Lily, appeared completely unprepared for the responsibility of leading a beginner group. We were told it was her first time guiding, and it showed. She struggled to give clear directions, could not project her voice well enough for everyone in the raft to hear, and often seemed unsure of how to effectively manage and direct the boat through the rapids. Beginner rafters depend on their guide for instruction and confidence, and that was lacking throughout the trip. What was even more concerning was learning that the company had to borrow guides from other rafting companies just to have enough staff for the day. In fact, our bus had to exit the freeway so one of the borrowed guides could be dropped off at his own employer to start his shift. That alone speaks volumes about how unprepared the operation appeared to be. The final frustration was the length of the trip. Our beginner trip departed at 9:00 a.m. and did not return until after 2:00 p.m. More than five hours for a beginner rafting excursion is excessive, especially when there was little communication explaining the delays. I understand that outdoor activities can be unpredictable, but the issues we experienced were not related to weather or river conditions. They were the result of poor planning, inadequate staffing, and questionable operational decisions. The river itself was beautiful, but the overall experience was overshadowed by safety concerns, lack of organization, and poor communication. I hope management takes a serious look at how these trips are staffed and managed before someone gets hurt. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I'm leaving this review so nobody else makes the same mistake. This was more of an event that occurs a few times and not a festival. The event occurs, from what I could tell, in spurts: call it early AM launch and evening glow. I had been misled by a previous experience at a balloon festival in NY which was an all-day event with the ability to go up in a tethered balloon all day as well as half-day rides, food, games...basic festival stuff. That is not what Labor Day Lift Off is. We got to Labor Day Lift Off in the Springs at maybe 10am and there was nothing: 1 of maybe 2 dozen food vendors open, no music, no people (maybe 20 of us walking around), no balloons at all...nothing. We used the opportunity to walk the park and check out the lake, but promptly left for food and entertainment. People that have gone to this event and witnessed it seem to have had a great time, but I doubt I'll attempt this again...maybe we'll give the glow a chance in the future.
