I recently had hip replacement with Dr. DeFelice. I found it to be a simple and easy process. Dr…read more DeFelice fully explained what I was going to go through, what to expect and how to handle the situations. The surgery was quick and easy (for me, at least!) and the recovery also very easy. I was back to work in less than 3 weeks and am fully functional. My hip pain is gone and I have returned to walking and enjoying myself again.

I've been going to Dr Longobardi for 15+ years. He's cared for my knees, rotator cuff surgery,…read more shoulder replacement and broken arm. Each surgery has been precise and well done. Extremely disappointing experience…read more I waited over two hours to be seen on multiple occasions despite having a scheduled appointment. What made the situation even more frustrating was being told repeatedly that I was "next" to be seen, only to watch other patients who arrived after me and had later appointment times get called back first. When I asked about it, the explanations I received from the staff were inconsistent and didn't match what I had personally observed. Rather than acknowledging the excessive wait time and poor communication, I felt like I was being given excuses. The doctor's explanation only added to my frustration and did not address the actual issue. In fact, he took an incredibly rude attitude toward me when I inquired politely about it. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but waiting over two hours more than once is unacceptable. After speaking with others in the waiting room, it was clear that I was not the only one with this experience. Patients deserve honest communication and respect for their time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Have you ever had one of those Humpy-Dumpty days where things fall apart, including your bones?…read more Well, I had one. Between the compound/open fracture and the other broken bones, my morning started off tragically wrong. Thankfully, Dr. Tam is more skilled than all the king's horses and all the king's men because he was able to put me back together again! Dr. Tam impressed me with his straight-forward "this is what I would do if it were me" approach. I like options, but he isn't afraid to tell you what the best option is. Before surgery, he put his hand on my shoulder and let told me, "You'll be alright." He assured me he would do his best. His tone and the warmth of a human touch comforted me. I was very impressed by his skill. This isn't his first rodeo and he is very familiar with the ins and outs of surgery. I'm pretty sure he gave me a Borg implant, take a look at the picture and tell me what you think! I hope I don't start saying, "Resistance is futile!" Nothing but praise for Dr. Tam and I highly recommend him. If you need his services then you're in a bad situation. Trust him and he will get you to recovery as fast as possible.
