I love the I Glow Med Spa because every time I go there it's like its own oasis. They always make sure I am comfortable and the atmosphere is so lovely and the people are even better. I purchased a Lifebooker deal for Dysport from iGlow Medspa and had the following experience: Before purchasing the deal I called iGlow 6/5/12 and booked an appt for the following Tuesday 6/12/12 at 12:30pm. I had an event the next week and wanted to insure that I was able to use the deal in time. On Monday 6/11/12 at 10:36pm an email was sent from iGlow: "I hope all is well. Please be advised that we do not have Dysport for your appointment tomorrow. We do however got Botox in stock, so please let me know if Botox will work for you or in case it doesn't kindly call us to re schedule" Thank You Nataly Gold iGlow Med Spa 310-652-0544 www.iglowmedspa,com I responded with the following: Nataly, I am coming in on a Lifebooker deal for Dysport. Botox will not work. Please be aware that I made this appt a week ago and planned my work day to accommodate this time. When do you expect to have Dysport back in stock? I can be reached at xxx/xxx-xxxx. I did not receive a response to the email but did receive a call from iGlow at 12:25pm 6/12/12 asking if I knew that my appt was canceled. I was confused as to why they would call at 12:25pm for a 12:30pm appt. I asked if they received my email and the woman who identified herself as the receptionist said she hadn't. I told her what it said and asked when they expected to have Dysport in stock, she said she didn't know, she was only calling to check on the appt. I wanted to know when I could get in and she continued to say that she didn't know. I asked to speak to a supervisor but was unable to do so. My impression was that this was an unprofessional organization with very poor customer service training and that once I mentioned that I was coming in on a Lifebooker deal they were not interested in the business. I truly expected the woman I was speaking to to tell me "she only worked there". Ultimately, the call ended with a "we'll let you know when we get the Dysport". I was going to seek a refund and then thought the better of it until the following: I received a call at approx 7pm 6/12/12 telling me that Dysport would be back in stock first thing 6/13/12. I had an unexpected appt very near the facility at 8am and decided to call at 10:00am when they opened to see if I could get in. The woman I spoke to said that they had customers booked all morning but I might be able to get in at 11:30am. I explained the situation and asked if I could come in and wait since my treatment only takes a few minutes. She put me on hold for several minutes came back and said 11:30am was it. I asked when I could I come in otherwise and was told they were booked solid for days. At that point I said I'll come in at 11:15am and wait. 10 minutes later I received a call from the medical director Orin. I thought great, finally someone with some customer service help, but I was very wrong. Orin said that he was calling to let me know that he had spoken to his staff and wanted me to come in only if I could leave my "attitude" at the door. It was almost laughable if he hadn't been serious. I explained to him my experience with his staff and he said I know exactly what was said because we record all our phone calls and he had listened to the calls. I said then you know what your staff said to me. He thought that although I was "inconvenienced" his staff was considerate enough to call. The timing, the lack of ability to resolve the situation and most importantly absolutely no interest in "making things right" left me stunned. I have never experienced anything like this, never. The phone call ended with Orin saying he'd drop an email to Lifebooker to issue a refund. One final thought, iGlow has a strict $50.00 24hour cancellation policy. Something that apparently only works one way. Further, recording calls in California without the permission of both parties is a criminal and civil violation of the law. Something to keep in mind when it comes to the ethical aspects of the business. Suffice to say I will not be using their services, and given that my prior experiences with Lifebooker deals have been great, I hope this is an anomaly. Strongly suggest that with all the competition for medspa business that there are better places to spend your money. read more

I went there 3 weeks ago to get my botox done with Nataly. Last week I started noticing my eye drooping. I could not believe it. I looked at myself and I could not open my eye completely. I was and still am very upset. After calling them up, they set up an appointment with a plastic surgeon. I was giving a prescription for Iopridine drops which is suppose to help the eye open better. I went to three pharmacies and none of them have the medicine....so I am now freaking out. Thanks iGlow. Go somewhere else to do this procedure. I just hope my eye does not stay this way. read more

Two things kept me from trying laser hair removal sooner: the cost and the pain. Admittedly, it was a discount deal that first led me to give it a try, but it was Nataly who made this potentially awkward experience anything but. I have gotten many bikini waxes over the years, and this procedure was far less painful. The prices at iGlow are extremely reasonable, especially when you consider the amazing service you receive there. The spa is beautiful and new, and you instantly get the feeling that the space was created with love. Nataly has a way of making you feel like an old friend, which is kinda nice when you are exposing all your girly parts! Also, I felt reassured that Nataly has been an RN for almost 20 years, and worked in labor and delivery. (Yes, she has seen many, many girly parts). I used my groupon voucher for a brazilian wax here - original price is $55 but was $23 on groupon. I'm not usually one to write yelp reviews, but I just had to for this one. The medical building that iGlow is in is not the nicest thing ever on the inside, but when you walk into the specific suite for iGlow it's cute and clean. The staff is super friendly, and Jordan did an amazing job. They also send you a confirmation email with directions for parking, which is nice. I'd recommend parking under the tennis courts about a block away - it's free for two hours and only about a 2 min walk. As for the wax itself, Jordan had music playing in the background and was super conversational, so it wasn't awkward at all. She left the room to give me time to undress/dress before and after. She also walked me through what kind of waxes she was using (combo hard and soft on different areas), if I should expect more or less pain with a certain wax, and tweezed any stray hairs. I also wasn't watching her while she worked because I was staring at the ceiling, but I saw a bunch of used sticks on the table when she was finished so i'm assuming that means she didn't double dip! read more

After turning 50, I didn't feel the age, but was noticing that I looked more tired under the eyes and was noticing lines on my forehead. Also, being a pharmacist, I was very concerned about finding a practice that follow good procedures for handling and preparing the drugs. After an initial consultation with Nataly and Chloe, they relieved all my concerns by answering my questions. Nataly needed to consult with Dr. Cohen since I keloid (scar) and was concerned if Juvaderm was a treatment option. After being told I would benefit from Juvederm, I made my appointment. Nataly and Chloe made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Nataly kept my dosages of both Botox and Juvederm as low as possible, since I was a bit nervous and Nataly will assure you that her goal is to make you look natural. The procedures did not hurt (ok you do feel slight sticks, but it is not bad). Nataly and Chloe truly know the art and how to use the drugs to complement a face. Nataly is a queen at the injection techniques and explained what and why for almost every injection. Nataly will also let you look in a mirror during the procedure and will ask for your input during the process. I have to admit, that I was swollen and bruised after the Juvederm treatment, these were side-effects that were explained to me in advance and are documented in the manufacturer's drug package insert. For me, it took about a week an a half for all swelling and bruising to disappear. Nataly recommend Arnicare, which has also helped with the swelling and bruising. My "before" and "after" photos were truly amazing - 180 degree change! Night and Day difference. I would say at least 10 years off my appearance. I am EXTREMELY happy with the outcome. I found I-Glow through Yelp and was impressed by the reviews. When I called to make my appointment with Nataly, the scheduler who answered my call could not have been more caring and professional, as they took the time to make sure they booked an appointment for fillers and Botox that worked for my busy schedule. This was not an easy task, as I travel frequently for work and have limited flexibility. On the day of my appointment, I was able to find the office easily thanks to the wonderful instructions I had been given during scheduling. I had been informed to stop taking aspirin a few days prior to my treatment to avoid bruising, which I appreciated since I take them a few times a week - Hey, it is L.A. traffic! The office looks just like the website, and I was greeted warmly by the receptionist who made sure that I was well taken care of as I waited for my procedure. After filling out the customary registration forms, I settled back and waited for my appointment. Right on schedule, I was greeted by Nataly, who I can only describe as WONDERFUL and vivacious! As she showed me to the treatment room, I could feel my anxiety fading away with any concerns. This girl knows her stuff! Talking to her was just like meeting an old college friend, as she immediately put me at ease during her initial consultation. She took the time to listen to my goals and then discussed ways that she could tailor the treatment to meet my expectations. It felt great to feel like I was part of the process and that this would not be another "cookie cutter" treatment. Sadly, I have been to many of the big names in the business and left feeling over stuffed and over arched - a trait not desired by most guys. I can honestly say that Nataly took her time during my treatment and her that injection style cannot be beat. At the end of the treatment I was amazed at the initial improvement I could see immediately with the Juvederm, all without the bruising. It has been a little over a week since my Botox and that is looking great as well! Just the right amount to smooth out the wrinkles and still maintain a masculine appearance.
