Total scammers. For a coolant leak they quoted me $1,600. When I asked why they were changing the…read morespark plugs, they said $1,200 without spark plugs. I paid them the $70 diagnostic fee and took my car to a real mechanic. There was one hose that needed to be replaced. The cost = $315 Please help put scammers like these out of business.

I am extremely disappointed in this C&T location. Went in back in December for a check engine light…read morewith a misfire code. I was told that my only options were to pay them $7,000 for a new engine or $3,000 to replace a head gasket because "oil was leaking into the cylinder tubes" and that "replacing the gasket was risky because the bottom end may fail" (aka give us 7 grand!!!!!!). Took the car to a different mechanic that I trust and know personally for a second opinion because this seemed suspicious and dishonest & sure enough, C&T is no different from other scam artist mechanics. The other mechanic told me he could find no evidence of oil leaking into the tube. The ignition coil that needed to be changed was the original that came with the car and went bad due to natural wear and tear seeing as the car has 168k miles. I paid $135 to have the ignition coil replaced. What really irks me is that C&T didn't even offer the option to replace the fouled coil. Their excuse will probably be that it was "only a temporary fix" but again - no evidence that this is anything other than normal wear and tear. And even if the ignition coil replacement WAS only temporary, a temporary fix should've been given as an option. It's pretty clear that C&T didn't want to do a small job because it doesn't pay enough. I'm sure that the other old original coils will follow suit and go bad in the near future because they're at the end of their life, but I sure won't be giving C&T the business. Don't go to them because they will lie to you, especially if you're a woman and they can tell you don't know much about cars. It's really disappointing because cars are people's livelihoods and y'all just want to lie and make extra money off of non existent problems. If you didn't want to do a small job, you could've just said you didn't want to do it & I would've taken it elsewhere. Why lie and make me think my entire engine is bad? This is why people can't stand mechanics and think you're all scammers. Good job making the entire business look bad, because I'm officially done with mechanics shops. Clearly small one man show mechanics, despite having longer wait times, have integrity. Y'all just don't. Don't bother replying to this review with some BS either. Not interested, don't care, go cry about it. Cronies.

Upon the fourth call it was answered, proving my calls were screened by immediately knowing who I was, what car I drove, and my phone number without me saying anything. Before reserving my rental car I tried to call four more times to verify, my calls again were screened and unreturned. I needed to confirm my car would be done at 6 PM because I needed to Rent-A-Car and drive 8 1/2 hours to get here. I had to leave my car here in Woodstock after my transmission blew on my way home to South Florida. Arriving at 5:30, we were told her the car would be done at 7:30. We sat in the parking lot until 10:30 PM. I am 6 1/2 months pregnant, exhausted from the initial eight hour trip that became an 11 hour trip from all of the delays, and now having to pay for another day of rental car extension, and a hotel room. This business literally could have just told us the car would be done Sunday, or Monday. At midnight we were told the car was done, great. Only six hours after their initial time, and five hours of sitting in a parking lot In a rental car, now paying $2400 for a transmission rebuild, one extra day of a rental car, and an unexpected hotel room fee. Terrible business practices, borderline unethical, absolutely would not recommend.

Every part of the CB experience is first class: complimentary shuttle service, clean and updated waiting area with snacks and beverages, text updates throughout the repair process, and genuine care and courteous service every step of the way. They took care of an overheating issue with my 2011 Ford Expedition with very little out of pocket. When it came time to get a car for our 16 year old, CB Woodstock was the only place I trusted to make sure we were putting him into something safe that wasn't going to be a money pit. No matter what make/model vehicle you are driving, they probably have a master technician on staff that can take care of it (Audi/Porche, Japanese, high performance American, etc). If you are looking for a Chick-fil-A experience on your next auto repair, look no further than Christian Brothers Wodstock!

When I took it in they said everything is perfectly fine with the brakes no problem but that I did need new tires and some other shit that I didn't go in there for. I let them replace my tires with 4 new ones and do all the other stuff. I called them at least a couple of times after leaving the shop to let them know about the grinding sounds and they say no it's not the brakes at all. Far forward A few months later, my brakes are grinding even worse now. I took it into another shop and was told the rear brakes needed to be replaced, metal on metal. Christian Brothers charged me close to $2000 that day and didn't even fix the main thing I went in there for, which left me unsafe driving on the road, I was doing Rideshare at the time. I do NOT recommend going here.
