I had already purchased the parts from a distributor, after identifying the correct ones by calling the factory. But the manufacturer ships "universal" replacement kits, with extra parts because the kit has to fit any of several models. The plumber knew just what was needed, and what wasn't. Both toilets now work perfectly, and no longer leak. The extra parts would have driven me crazy if I had attempted a DIY repair. For me, hiring an expert was money *very* well spent. Alas, 5 stars is the maximum so that is what I have to work with here. Great job Rhino Rooter... Oh the story? Well I'm glad you asked. It was a hot spring morning. This was no ordinary heat, you see? There was a heat wave passing by and my air conditioner did not have the will or strength to compete. As I arose sluggishly out of bed in the morning and began to make my morning trek to the refreshment room I began to sense an odor that was not usual or typical. This odor was foul. It was an intense smell of unprocessed waste that was not absorbed by a human body. Even, worse, this odor was unfamiliar. You see, I am the lower level of a 2 story complex that I share with 3 rather larger individuals on top. To say that they are overweight would be a little mean, so let's just say they are avid food connoisseur. Nevertheless, the bowels need flushing and the reservoirs did need to drain so I trekked along on my journey to the refreshment facilities. When I finally arrived I noticed that the floor was unusually wet (bear in mind the floor is not typically ever wet). My jaw would have dropped to the floor if I wasn't afraid of what heinous diseases I may have been infected with had an orifice of mine come into contact with any portion of the mess I walked into. I gagged as to my horror I gazed into what once was a sanctuary and now is a waste land of urine, feces, and only god himself knows what other combination of liquids have filled my bathtub and spewed onto the floor claiming my sanctuary for itself. I hurled and only added to the mess, but what choice did I really have? As I gag in this very moment from just the memory of this volatile intrusion I thought to myself that the house better be burned down than any type of resuscitation. This is when I came into contact with Nishan over at Rhino Rooter. Nishan was pleasant to speak with and professional. I felt comfortable speaking with him and letting him know the shame that I arose to. No matter how much I tried to warn Nishan about the terrible fortune I have run into he did not back down.
