Stopped by on my way on a trip up north. First time at this location and it seems promising. There was signage stating that they are now 24 hours however the new hours doesn't appear to reflect on Yelp. The food was tasty and service was fair. Parking was plentiful and close by the freeway. I had their breakfast and will try their crepes on the way back. Great place to stop by for a quick bite and to refuel. read more

Today I had a soccer game so I went to IHOP to fill me up with food. It was so good. I had a short stack pancakes with a side of hashbrowns. It was perfection. It was everything that I needed to get my energy back after such a hard soccer game. I will definitely be coming back to this location the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clear. The food at IHOP here in Agoura Hills, on Kanan Road, always hits the sweet spot for me. This is the location I used to come to for so many Sunday breakfasts with my family when I was growing up in Agoura Hills. Going back now, even though I no longer live in the area, kind of feels like coming home. When I was younger, I was all about the pancakes with strawberries and bananas, but these days I'm more into the Chicken Fajita Omelette because that's my go-to breakfast at IHOP. This time, I ordered the chicken fajita omelette with no tomatoes (of course). For my side, I sometimes get toast, but this time I went with hash browns and a side of ranch. My son got the Happy Face chocolate chip pancake topped with strawberries and whipped cream to make the smile, along with two scrambled eggs. As for my drink, I went with coffee over ice. I don't like my coffee too sweet, so I just add a couple creamers with no sugar. The service here is always top-notch. If you need anything, just ask your server and they're always happy to help. I've never had a single issue with the service at this location. The ambience is what you'd expect from a family-friendly breakfast spot and it also it looks like any other IHOP, but because it's in Agoura Hills, it has a slightly nicer feel. Would I recommend this IHOP to anyone? Absolutely 100%. I'm pretty sure they're open 24 hours, though these days I'm never awake early enough to get there before 9 AM (especially now that I have kids). I'll definitely keep coming back to this IHOP because it feels like my home away from home and brings back great breakfast memories with the family. read more

Returned for breakfast and conversation with a friend. Samantha, our server, was at our table very soon after we sat down to get our drink orders. A carafe of coffee followed right after that. Then our breakfast orders. Free short stack with Yelp check in! I went with a make your own omelet (sausage and sautéed mushrooms and Jack cheese - yummm) Clean quite reasonable prices with really good service. Really good spot for breakfast/brunch. Convenient location right off the freeway. And lots of free parking. read more

For the past several years, my son and I have made a tradition of going for a weekend breakfast at IHOP. They generally have great service and low prices. Additionally, until recently, they also had great gluten-free pancakes and waffles. The last time we went, however, we were told they are no longer making gluten-free pancake, pancakes or waffles. Unfortunately, since my son eats gluten-free, that will be the last time we go to IHOP. read more

Not at all like it used to be. I have been coming here since I was a little kid, and now as an adult every time I come it's worse than before. So sad. The service is terrible, shouldn't take over an hour for breakfast. Not to mention they got my kids' food wrong. Not sure how you manage that when they just ordered off the kids menu. And when I brought it up to our server she just shrugged it off and when it did come it wasn't even good. I don't know if we will ever be back. Might as well just go to the deli down the street, little more expensive but at least the food is better. read more

I asked for medium rare for my T-bone and got medium. When I opened my container the steak was on top on my eggs which caused the egg yoke to break and have yoke spilled all at the bottom. I would love to say maybe it was busy and the cook was rushing but the place was empty when I went to pick up my food that included the parking lot. Can I just say that this place is ADORABLE and plays the best oldies music the food is always fresh and on point. I've had a different server each time I've come here and the service rocks every time all hours of the day. Since I haven't left a review before and can't remember names, shoutout to TONY for impeccable service tonight when he was the only one running the restaurant. I live close by and come here often for just a cup of coffee or something sweet. DO NOT come here after 4-5 PM the server literally gets flustered with having to work 3 tables and had a literal 10 person line waiting for 45 mins. Wouldn't even acknowledge the line. Just pace back and forth. I've also went when it was just two tables occupied around 8PM and this same woman still would not care to sit me. It's honestly frustrating. read more

Came here for breakfast before having a long day at work. Check in and you get 1 free stack of pancakes. We were seated right away since we came in the early morning hours. The tables were clean and the servers were nice. I ordered the Big steak omelette with pancakes. The pancakes were good as expected from an "international house of pancakes" location. The steak omelette was big, tasted good, but greasy. I enjoyed my breakfast here. I have no complaints other than the minor greasiness of the food but that was to be expected from a chain diner. Updating my review from forever ago. We stopped here for breakfast on our way back from a doctor appointment because we were super hungry. I ordered blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon and my daughter ordered an omelet. Our food came rather quickly and was prepared perfectly. My pancakes were slightly crispy and fluffy inside with a generous amount of blueberries. My bacon was cooked well. My daughter was happy with her omelet. The syrup is served in single serve containers, a byproduct of COVID restrictions. I really love that I was given my own pot of hot water with several servings. I had plenty of tea to drink. My daughter was given her own little pot of coffee which was plenty for her to drink. Our server, Gus, was super attentive and on top of it. The restaurant was clean and well kept. Parking is still a challenge. I was surprised how crowded it was on a Wednesday afternoon. I'm sure we will be back. This is a great place for a quick breakfast. read more

It's good and the service is relatively quick, given how busy they are on weekends. This review though is for the server we had, Pedro. I wasn't paying much attention while leaving and when I got home, I realized I didn't have my Nordstrom gift card on me! I panicked and figured I had to have left it there. I went back and sure enough, I left it on the table. Pedro happened to find it and kept it safe. I appreciate his integrity! read more

We were trying to find something to eat on a road trip and we're feeling disappointed that mostly everything around was chain restaurants and places that lack any personality, we are so glad we tried Phil's. Phil's has a human that feels like it is becoming rare in a sea full of iPad restaurant experiences. We will definitely be returning back and recommending to friends. If you are in the area this is your place.

So i understand if things happen but at least check on your table!!! I had to go in and pick up my wine and the food came out cold What makes it worse is no apology from the waitress. I will say the manager did comp the meal and was nice, but no expiration other than the food runner was late and it was not busy in the restaurant... We left feeling very sad and uncomfortable as to why we were treated so bad.

After we ordered several people recommended the firecracker turkey sandwich. I ordered a side of the special sauce that goes on the one and added it to my sandwich. O M G it's a must!! Next time I will order that sandwich to try. The owner was meticulous in making our sandwiches. No joke it was put together perfectly.
